Coloraze Centered on the mechanic of changing your color to interact with different objects, Coloraze, a puzzle platformer by Colin Brown, is a simple concept done well. It's one of those works where a string of gameplay elements are introduced in the beginning, then paid off in the long run with a string puzzles that force them to interact in interesting way. Each individual level won't take too much time to play, but with a good ninety included, plus a solid number of levels made by the community using Coloraze's solid level editor, you won't be running out of game any time soon.

Escape from Test Kitchen 2 Escape from Test Kitchen 2 is a standard escape-the-room game from Japan, somewhat reminiscent of a game from the gotMail folks. Alone in the Light Shards of light fall from the sky over a cold, lonely, frozen land, and it's up to you to reunite them... or remain alone yourself. A melancholy but absolutely gorgeous bit of platforming exploration married heavily to interactive art, the game is simple and straightforward but well worth experiencing to take in the creative talents of the team behind it.

Eternal Red Eternal Red is, by its own admission, a cross between a platform arena style shooter and a real-time strategic defense game. No story, no dialogue, just you and the seemingly non-stop litany of enemies appearing from one door that try to make it to the second.

Irrepressibly tongue-in-cheek, Hell Yeah is a gesture-based defense game in which you'll defend the wonders of the world against the armies of the Devil, and despite the fact it features everything from Jesus to a pizza-wielding Julius Ceasar, it's one of those rare games you just can't get mad at.

Mission US: For Crown or Colony Edutainment!... Commence eye-rolling, people. For some reason many are skeptical of any game that claims to "make learning fun". Perhaps it is the feeling that, since most believe learning (if not necessarily schooling) to be naturally fun, any subject that has to be made fun must be really dry. That said, while Mission US: For Crown or Colony is unlikely to redeem the genre for everyone, the tale of a teenager coming of age in Colonial America makes for a solid adventure, whose gentle challenge is balanced by excellent production values and historical detail.

Chickaboom The sky is full of adorable, aimless, harmless yellow birds who currently aren't covered in pink bubblegum! That simply will not do! In PhotonStorm's weird yet lovely and cheerful little chain-reaction game, make use of a limited amount of air to clear the sky of birds as their flight patterns get increasingly more complex.

Mayan Escape Mayan Escape is a fun little classic room escape game. What makes it so much fun is the amount of polish that has gone into such a basic game. Cursors that change to arrows for navigation or gears to indicate objects that can be manipulated, handy inventory control, kicking sound and graphics, this little gem resembles a chapter in an actual download game. In fact, the quality is such that it is perhaps better than a chapter in some recent download point-and-click adventures on the market.

Moonlight A gorgeous spot-the-difference game that tells the touching tale of a young man and what he finds in the forest one night. Stephanie Herrera's beautiful artwork coupled with atmospheric music sets the mood for this compelling story where you may just find yourself emotionally connecting with the main characters.

Tortuga 2 Tortuga Episode 2 is an escape-the-room game set on a pirate ship; the second installment of the Tortuga series. You have just escaped the locked room from episode 1 and the pirate is still sleeping off the sleepy spray you got him with prior to your escape, but you are still locked up on the pirate ship. You must look for items and clues to reveal a solution on how to get off the ship.

Escape from the Room with Three Keys 8 Escape from the Room with Three Keys 8 is less of a full room escape and more of a serial, one of those five to ten minute "to be continued" shorts shown before the main event. Here's a perfect way to take a short yet entertaining break that will leave you wanting more.

The Visit It's a beautiful day outside! The sun is shining, the crabs are trundling, and it's time to go visit your girlfriend! Nothing could possibly stand in your way... uh... right? A short and very simple parody platformer with multiple endings that makes fun of the expectations we have for these games.

Ragdoll Cannon 2 Ragdoll Cannon 2 is, rather logically, the sequel to Ragdoll Cannon (as teased by the release of Ragdoll Cannon 1.5). That's some no-nonsense naming, there. What designer Johnny_K might lack in titling, however, he more than compensates for in gameplay.

Also Which? Yoshio Ishii has another question for you, and in this third installment of the addictively clever puzzle series, provides even more smart and simple levels where you'll have to think outside the box. Or circle, I suppose. All you have to do is read the question and figure out which circle you need to click... even though they both seem identical.

Gravity Hook Simplicity reminiscent of an Orisinal game but with visuals and sound you might expect to find in something more old-school. Backed by an enjoyable physics engine and a simple but well-executed concept and virtually no down-time, Gravity Hook is a simple, grappling hook arcade game that borders on clinically addictive.

Spanthera So there's this lion prince Leonidas, and he has to protect his realm from lizard intruders by chucking his trusty spear at them. The premise might sound wacky, but this projectile puzzle game definitely deserves your attention. With its polished design and cool voice acting, strangely fitting pop culture references and epic spear-throwing action, Spanthera is certainly a pleasant surprise.

Ticket Ticket is a brand new game from the talented room escape designers at Gotmail. Like so many of their games to come before, this one features the same highly detailed, gorgeous pre-rendered scenes and the same point-and-clickery puzzles one would expect to find in a game of this nature. The only downside? There is no English version, so that will surely turn off a few.

Scare Dare - The House The house has been abandoned for years, and everyone who goes into it has vanished... so naturally it seemed like a great idea for you to do so yourself! When you find yourself trapped within, you'll need to uncover the truth in order to escape from this creepy point-and-click game.

Luke Deluxe Luke's been duped! Unless he can figure out a way out of it, he's getting married tomorrow to a murderous gold-digger and her crackpot kid in this kooky musical point-and-click adventure from Carmel Games.

Shadowscape Shadowscape tells the old story of the battle between light and darkness epitomised in a high difficulty platformer. The protagonist is a boy who must find his true self, and he choses to stage his search in seventy neck-breaking levels featuring moving platforms, spikes and other nasty surprises. The twist is that he gains lives simply by moving around, but starts losing them if his time runs out.

The Naked Alien The Naked Alien is an action platformer by Lucas Paakh that offers players a quirky encounter of the nude kind, as its titular being sets out to map uncharted territory. It's a little by-the-numbers, but The Naked Alien is strangely amusing, and definitely showcases the developers prodigious artistic talents.

Poto & Cabenga Poto and Cabenga are minding their own business, riding along and collecting golden feathers, when a giant skybeast swoops down and swallows Poto whole! Now you need to control both characters, racing along on the top and bottom of the screen, to eventually reunite horse and rider under usual circumstances with this challenging one button game of reflexes and action.

Aries Escape: Episode No.007 A charming, sea-side salon seems (try saying that 5 times fast) like the kind of place you'd never want to leave... only this time you don't seem to have much of a choice! Libertechno returns with the seventh episode of Aries Escape, along with a whole new batch of dastardly puzzles to keep you locked inside. Navigate the room and explore your hint-laden surroundings by clicking key areas indicated by a changing cursor. Can you solve the hair-pullingly difficult riddles before you ruin your brand new 'do?

Doors 2: Dave's New Job When Dave's new construction co-workers strand him on the top floor of an unfinished building, he finds himself in familiar, physics-bending, puzzle-platforming territory. It's Doors 2: Dave's New Job by Arctic Arcade. A enjoyably mellow piece of gaming that most should be able to complete in one sitting.
