The hand-drawn art of the Daymare world is as hauntingly beautiful as it was when we first saw it. If you go in expecting anything more than a clone, you'll be disappointed. If, however, you approach it knowing what it is (a classic minigame and a tantalizing preview of installments to come), you'll find a very tasty piece of eye candy.

Undefined's chibi-cute new tower defense title Hordes of Hordes features an interesting variety of traps, spells and towers in a build-your-own-path style game. Just make sure you think very carefully about your plan before you place things, and you'll find this a pleasant game play experience.

Possessing humans and stealing souls is all in a day's work for one demon. Too bad there's a human wizard trying to stop him from doing it! Now he'll need to gather enough souls to have the strength to challenge the wizard in battle! As a demon, you'll be zipping along the ground and finding the best path to get to the humans. But once you enter a human body, you'll be pushing blocks, potions, and buttons and collecting gems on your way to the exit!

A tower defense game without the tower. Plant your units on the field of battle, upgrade them, and watch them do battle with wave after wave of tiny, adorable monsters, all to get a series of trinkets for some princesses who have rather unique desires.

I don't know, but I've been told! But Snake Squad, an action-packed arena shooter by Yzi Games, has just gone gold! There's not much of a story or depth to the gameplay, but it does have a bunch of viciously adorable looking soldiers snaking their way around blasting enemies and collecting cash, and it makes for a fast-paced good time.

Like your mini-golfing streamlined and mellow? This slick physics puzzle by Jayc Santos might be the offer. Serving up creative bumpers and boosters you place yourself, and your average golfing traps like water and mines, it's a mellow experience you'll definitely want to take a swing at.

This physics puzzle may be low on challenge but it's big on adorability. (Yes, that is now a word.) Rocanten has imprisoned helpless yet placid balloons and it's up to you to set them free (or destroy them) by manipulating the environment. The colourful presentation and easy gameplay makes this more one for the kids or a coffee break, but it's a perfectly casual little game anyone can enjoy without straining the old gray matter.

Life is hard in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, but as long as your rustbucket of a dog is by your side you know you'll make it through anything. In Raiders Took My Dog, life is good until the unthinkable happens or well really it's pretty thinkable as it's the title of the game. Fight back and save your dog in this action packed shooter.

A top-down action shooter by Modern Boys Production, BLACK IV: Time for Revenge is basically just about a stickguy shooting a bunch of other stickguys, occasionally in slow motion. And that's more than fine! An unrepentantly goofy and escapist throwback, BLACK IV keeps the bullets flying and the trigger fingers itchy.

The setting of O-RI-GA-MI is made entirely of pieces of folded paper, making it probably the only handcrafted ETR in existence. From the furniture to the code panel to the unconventional fauna, almost everything that you see has been created out of a piece of paper and photographed in position. When you play, don't rush through it like you might some other games; this one is meant to be savored.

The popular gravity-switching runner is back, as you see how long you can run on a twisting, turning, upside-down-ing track while inverting gravity to avoid obstacles. While the gameplay doesn't really offer much new, upgraded visuals makes it look and play a lot more smoothly.

Everyone needs a healthy dose of adorableness. And these sweet little robots provide that and more; a great mental workout in the form of a simple yet engaging sliding block puzzle game.

A three phase fishing game from Vlambeer. First, cast your hook into the water, avoiding fish as you head deeper and deeper. Second, snag as much sea life as you can as you reel your hook in. Finally, fling them into the sky and use your weapons to blast them into sushi. An over-bloody and surreal, but quite addictive time.

Hammers are jerks. We've known it all along, as our swollen thumbs can attest, and don't think we haven't heard them sniggering each time they "accidentally" slip on us either. Enter Neil (he's a nail) who, together with Mr Magnet and the lovely Drew (she's a screw) are here to help the resistance put a stop to the hammers and their bullying in this short but oh-so-sweet little point-and-click puzzle adventure.

Team Fabulous brings us an LGBTQ-friendly prototype adventure about a young person who ventures into a dark forest in search of their beloved. Battle personal demons as you risk it all for the promise (or even the idea) of a better feature in this flawed but profoundly hopeful narrative that any player can enjoy and identify with regardless of their identity or orientation.

Hunted Forever is a cool new action platforming game from Pixelante Game Studios. The plot is sort of like The Most Dangerous Game with the addition of a huge flying death machine armed with lasers, bombs, and swarming buzz-saw droids. Your job, as the silhouette of a man having an extremely bad day, is to escape from said death machine through forests, caves, and underground laboratories without getting turned into Fried Crispy Human Flakes. To put it mildly, the odds are against you.

Now that the Mayan apocalypse is nigh upon us, it is only natural that we doomed mortals should develop a keen interest in all things Meso-American. Tombscape 2 casts the player as an explorer of Mayan ruins, whose quest to understand the mysteries of the pre-Columbian ancients may help you forget the impending advent of the end times.

The Other Side is a puzzle platformer that follows One Step Back in spirit and design, but takes the series in a new direction. Collect sparks while navigating disorienting levels, and explore the figurative mind of an addict in this creative game from developer CoolioNiato.

Don a space suit and attempt to cross halls full of razor-sharp blades to find your sweetheart in this unique gravity puzzle game. By manipulating lights at the bottom of the room, you can change the gravitational character of the vertical span above a light. Find the pattern of colors that will guide the astronaut through the gauntlet and onto the exit. It's a process of trial-and-error that is surprisingly calming.

Dragon Quest is one of the easier physics games we've featured and it won't take you long to make your way through it. Most of the puzzles involve finding creative ways to dispatch enemies; a favorite has you dumping a skeleton into a fire pit by way of a wall of barrels, Donkey Kong-style! You also get to mess with a variety of physics-based props like ballistae and drawbridges. There's enough charm in the puzzles to make it worth a look, though. Just be careful... they say dragons have pretty terrible breath. Must be all those knights they eat.

Since the dawn of time, man has collected. This arcade platformer plays right to this compulsion by encouraging players to load up on diamonds like it's going out of style as they try to climb to the top of an endless cavern. This isn't a pretentious art game or a brain-wracking escape, this is down-and-dirty arcade action through and through and it succeeds spectacularly on that level.

Bubble Cannon 2 is what the original game should have been, with tighter goals and more thoughtful gameplay. Eliminate balls by colliding them with their similarly-colored mates, but take your time, because each ball is important! Engaging and very addicting!

Short and sweet despite some rough edges, this adventure made by CosmicGhost for StencylJam2015 has you stranded on an alien planet where you can't speak to the locals and you don't understand their customs.

It was a time of peace. The tribe was ruled by a fair and just leader named Bold, a ruler known across the plains for his fairness and generosity. However, trouble was brewing in the Mountains of Moira: Rangor the Terrible had raised a dread army of conquest, and sprung an attack in which no prisoner was taken. With his village decimated and his son kidnapped, Bold once again took up the garments of a warrior to lay siege to the hordes pillaging the land. Oh... and by the way, Bold is a Beaver. This quietly charming escape-the-room game from Yonashi is light on challenge yet manages to win us over with presentation. Puzzles are rather standard, but it's perfectly designed to divert our attention with its shyly sweet design. Whether it's a rainy day pastime or a break from work you need, fun is just a point and click away.

5xMan is an action/puzzle game that plays on the now-familiar concept of controlling multiple characters one at a time. You play a team of five guys, each in a stunning single-color one-piece jumpsuit (is that a Louis Vuitton?!), and work your way through each stage. Make it as far as you can with one guy, then switch to the next to see what more you can do, opening new paths for subsequent team members as you go.
