Supermuzhik is an arcade-action sorta-shooter game by Aimar where the titular hero proves to be much better at "defeating evil" than "protecting the innocent", as he uses his telekinetic vision to fling the latter into the former. Viscerally enjoyable in its destruction, even if its difficulty takes a surprise leap about a third of the way in.
In Rat Maze 2, you are a mouse in a maze and you must collect all the pieces of cheese in the shortest time possible. Use the arrow keys for movement to zip around the maze. Running over a cheese is as good as eating it, so no time is wasted collecting them all. Simple retro fun from the highly talented developers at PixelJam.
Although this Flash puzzler is similar to other sliding-block puzzle games in its class, what I find special about this one is its presentation and execution. The goal of Orbox is to navigate the blue and yellow blinking box to the red goal in the fewest moves possible using just the arrow keys for control.

Buggle Stars is a well-executed platformer with tight controls and over 15 interesting levels and 4 mini-games to unlock. Each level presents a sequence of stars that you must collect, in order, to advance. A variety of goals change up the gameplay just enough to keep each level interesting and addictive, and a bit intense at times.
Don't be afraid of the dark! Even if there's something dangerous in it, all you need to do is shine a little light in Bombocracker's lovely little platforming puzzler. Make your way to the exit in each stage by manipulating light and shadow to remove obstacles or change your environment to provide safe passage.
A version of the original Prince of Persia game recreated in Flash. The original game, created by Jordan Mechner and released in 1989, used an animation technique called rotoscope to give the characters human-like qualities. It was also a lot of fun to play. This special Flash edition isn't quite the whole experience, but you should be able to at least get a taste of what the original was like.

Expendable robot Nuts and his fairly useless robot dog Bolts have been picked to test a construction system in this path-drawing puzzle game. Rearrange beams to get to the exit, but you can only hold one beam at a time. A clean isometric interface and levels that unlock two at a time keep the challenge of this game from getting pull-out-your-sockets difficult.
Escape from the Tatami Room 2 is one of Tesshi-e's more middle of the road efforts. There are some unique puzzles alongside old chestnuts like the wobbly corner picture. Not, perhaps, their most innovative, but still a nice combination of puzzles and construction make Tatami Room 2 an entertaining way to while away a few minutes.
Even if the leaves aren't changing, Ichima's escape is pure satisfying goodness, with an excellent collection of puzzles that require just the right amount of thought and attention to detail, while holding a few surprises, too.
Hottategoya puts you in the middle of a maze and asks that you not only find your way through it to the exit, you must make sense of your comings-and-goings and open three locked safes before you can leave. Thus, navigating the layout more a challenge than the puzzles themselves. Yet the concrete feeling of success when you reach the end makes this escape-the-room game rather amazing (it had to be said!)
If TomaTea designed more playroom, most of us probably would have gotten into less trouble as kids... especially because if you want to escape from this cute and clever room of puzzles, you'll need to be smart and observant, and babies are... well... babies.
The Escape Hotel 2 is one of Tesshi-e's better efforts, up there with Escape from 5th Door for difficulty. Fun, challenging, and it definitely won't be over in 10 minutes unless you're, you know, like Einstein or Stephen Hawking. Façade is an interactive drama that puts you in the role of a dinner guest catching up with your old college friends, a married couple named Grace and Trip. Using the mouse and keyboard, you're able to move around their apartment and manipulate objects inside, but Facade is no escape-the-room adventure game, most of the interaction involves, get this, talking to Grace and Trip.
Once again a familiar door in a brick wall appears as Tesshi-e goes back and re-imagines an early escape in the fabulous Mild Escape series. Though short and a little easy for what you might expect, it's a sweet little diversion. Don't forget your happy coin!

Adult Swim revisits their incredibly popular arcade game of robotic unicorns and falling stars in this heavy metal re-imagining. While it doesn't reinvent the gameplay, it does provide an alternative for those of you who were always secretly ashamed by how their heart skipped a beat whenever they heard Erasure, and offers up all the addictive play of the original. But how the heck are you supposed to play this and headbang at the same time?! My hair keeps getting in the way!

It is a straight forward game of its genre with only a couple of minor pixel hunts involved. Easy enough to complete on ones own, and yet challenging to give you about an hour's worth of fun.
A zombie apocalypse thoughtlessly interrupts your filming in this tongue-in-cheek retro shooter that has you blasting away scores of the undead, upgrading weapons and abilities, as you attempt to break yourself out of a cycle of days that just won't end. Silly, snarky, and definitely challenging, it's definitely going to bring out the zombie slayer in all of us.
The Malstrums Mansion is a retro point-and-click game with a surprisingly tense atmosphere, in the style of old Apple Macintosh adventures like Shadowgate. The heavily pixilated black and white graphics are chunky but lovingly crafted. If you love games that give you the creeps, or if you just like to relive the early years of gaming, this is a title you simply can't afford to pass up.
A new-agey, color-based puzzle game reminiscent of Auditorium, Subtle Energy succeeds in being a pretty relaxing puzzler. The soundtrack is inoffensive aural Xanax, and it is always soothing to watch colored pixel streams flow about the screen. The puzzles themselves are few, and while most are not too difficult, you will likely find that some make you stop and think.
Crash planets with Kepler...or, you know, have fun with physics and learn a little bit about the solar system. This webtoy gives you your very own solar system to plan, and 500 years of elapsed time to try to keep it stable.
You're probably familiar with level editors, where you can take all the time you want to make the perfect level of your favorite game. Here you'll have to put those skills to good use in a puzzle platformer with a twist. With a further 35 levels, people who've cut their teeth on the first game should be ready to ace this one, and those who passed over the first as too easy might want to give this one a go.

Chain Sudoku Light Volume 1, designed with the same care as its fellow works, is a twisty variant that's very, very good.
Bonte Room 2 is the sequel to Bart Bonte's first room escape game we featured back in December. The game shares a lot with its predecessor, including simplistic art style, room layout, and a strange animal that's integral to solving the game's puzzles.
