If you didn't play Contour when it was first released, there's never been a better time to give it a spin. Since then, the community embraced the editor and set to work creating new levels. Castle Smasher Castle Smasher is a simple but amazingly entertaining game where your goal is to destroy a castle using nothing more than a catapult. Fling stones at the opposing structure to whittle it down to nothing as efficiently as you can. Upgrade your shots between levels and be as frugal as you can with your firepower. Once you run out, it's game over.

Developer Code Developer Code is a series of six (6) point-and-click games of the escape-the-room variety, brought to us by IBM in China. The gameplay is the usual for this kind of game: For a reason unknown to you, you find yourself in a locked room with no apparent way out.

Samurai High Jump Another simple game oozing with personality has just been released by Game-Pure, creator of Bound Bear and Oshidama. Route 401 Motel The fatal flaw of many adventure games is that they are too complicated, or seem to think you have days and countless Friday nights to spare in the completion of unintuitive or unfair puzzles. Vampire Vision Is there a occupation cooler than Vampire Hunter? After seeing the exploits of Van Helsing, Buffy, Blade, Alucard and D, I'd be surprised if high-schoolers don't flock around the recruiting table at the yearly career day. However, not all of us have time for the years of intensive training that is required to spot vampires on sight. Thankfully, the University of Winconsin's Center for Game Science has developed an online training program that will focus your Vampire Vision through a combination of arcade puzzling and hidden object spotting... and it just might improve your regular vision too.

Run From The Sun Don't you just hate when you wake up and find out that the sun is exploding? Yeah, me too. What with the shock waves of the supernova and the imminent threat of incineration, it just about ruins your whole day. Then you have to pack up everything into the family rocket ship and blast from world to world in your solar system, and because of the ever-approaching wall of flame, there's no time for sight-seeing. All you can do is try to stay one step ahead of the heat-death. Such is the premise of Run from the Sun, by FreakyZoid. And considering the title, it's kind of ironic that it's a game you'll want to run towards as quickly as possible.

Roar Rampage With gameplay inspired by the classic Rampage series, take control of a huge, angry dinosaur and smash your way through a fully destructive city. Punch through buildings and swat missiles out of the air as the army tries to stop you reuniting with your lost son in this epic 8bit arcade game.

Protonaut Protonaut is best described as a platform physics puzzler: a platformer covered in a velvety layer of physics, served with a generous dosage of puzzler. Run, jump, and shoot projectiles to solve each level's puzzle.

Omega Box Would you like a jet-pack? Sure, we all do! However, I'm not so sure I'd be willing to volunteer for the strict testing procedures that would have to be completed before it's released to market: what with the dodging of missiles, the zapping of lasers, and having to deal with the inevitably-snarky AI running the whole thing. Omega Box, the new action game from Ironzilla, is the tale of a test-subject either much braver or much less lucky than I, who must fly around the experimentation room avoiding everything said snarky AI can throw at him.

Waterfalls 3 You know what needs to make a comeback? Black-light posters. Have those ever not been fascinating to look at? Anyways, Waterfalls 3, a physics puzzler by MoonMana, might not be as easy to hang on the wall, but it definitely has the ethereal prettiness.

They Took Our Candy It's Halloween but your scheduled trick-or-treating has been interrupted by an alien invasion! Only your group of hyperactive, sugar-addicted trick-or-treaters can stop them and get the candy back. They Took Our Candy is a sweet treat for anyone who just can't wait to go out trick-or-treating themselves.

Touch the Bubbles 3 Touch the Bubbles 3 is a mouse avoider that satisfies your childhood desire for wanton globular destruction, and you don't even need to dig around for bubble wrap. So get out there, avoid the red, earn some points, build your multiplier, and touch the bubbles. Touch the Bubbles THREE, that is.

Jack Tube What would you go through for a ton of carrots? Jack Tube, the armless white rabbit from the Begamer game fo the same name, would gladly traverse 13 levels of puzzle platforming madness... with the help of your clicking finger, of course. Although the control scheme and some of the gimmicks in later levels make it clear that Begamer isn't doing a perfect job of disguising its usual point-and-clickery, and it's not exactly a difficult game, this is definitely a clever and interesting departure from the formula-- and if that doesn't grip you, the charming visuals and audio most likely will.

Graveyard Shift Nitrome's latest release, Graveyard Shift, is a first person rail shooter reminiscent of classic arcade games like Time Crisis. Asterisk Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How I wonder how I can get you without overlapping any shapes I've already made? Not much of a song, but it does make Asterisk a soothing puzzler from Vivern Games. Stained Glass Stained Glass is a simple and beautiful logic puzzle with an arrangement of tiles in the right-hand "window", each in four segments, with each segment potentially a different color. You must arrange colored tiles in the left-hand "window" so that all of the colors match. When you finish one level you move on to the next, larger level. Another classic casual game by Taro Ito of GameDesign.

Puppy Stew Discovering your neighbor is a witch is hard enough. Finding out she's planning on making puppy stew is enough to make the weakhearted faint. Thankfully this Witch also fills up on the tears of defeat of her neighbor Vila. Theme Hotel Haven't you always wanted to lord it over an entire tower, Trump-style? Well in Theme Hotel from Toffee Games you can do just that. Inspired by games such as SimTower and Theme Hospital, this simulation game puts you in charge of building a hotel from the ground up and taking it all the way to five stars.

The Cave of Heroes Alexia Crow winds up falling, literally, into adventure (of the point-and-click kind!) when she winds up trapped in an ancient cave that was once used as a training ground for heroes of myth and legend. To escape, she'll need to explore and solve all sorts of puzzles in a captivating mythic environment filled with mysterious mechanisms and magic.

Armed with Wings Armed with Wings is an enjoyable platformer with some innovative twists. You play the role of a fallen hero, brought back to life from the "blackmist" in search of vengeance, armed with a katana and an eagle. That's right, an eagle. Designed to augment the typical start-to-finish run of platformers, you have control of an eagle that helps you reach your goal in a variety of ways.

Chick Hide and Seek 6 Belonging in the very easy but very cute category, ten little balls of yellow are hiding in this room and need to be found before you can solve the door lock code and escape. Some are in plain sight, others need help out of a sticky situation and some need to be uncovered. Click around the room, use objects creatively, solve a couple puzzles and you'll be out in a peep.

Choo Choo Puzzles Choo Choo Puzzles, the new simple idea dragging puzzle from a team led by Piotr Iwanicki, sounds like a cross between a candy bar and a maze you'd find in Highlights for Children... kind of inappropriate for a fun little game with only a tenuously abstract connection to railways. Fortunately, the simple mechanics of Choo Choo Puzzles present a worthy challenge for puzzle-lovers of all ages.

Onomastica 2 Like its predecessor, Onomastica 2, the puzzle platformer/interactive art piece by mif2000, takes place in a world where words and objects are interchangeable. And also, like the original, it is whimsical, clever, and over way too quickly. Still, it's such a fun little art deco world to play around in, that players who like minding their words won't mind too much.

Carrot Track Ferry Halim, in Orisinal's most recently released flash game, has recreated the pure enjoyment of an afternoon in the park, where puppies and bunnies frolic, in Carrot Track, a vertical scrolling, avoidance game delight.

Color Infection (1 & 2) Color Infection and Color Infection2 are a pair of puzzle games based on the useful Box2D physics engine. They feature a bare-bones presentation and no music or sound effects, but their puzzle designs are incredibly devious. These are the kind of puzzles that make you sit back and bask in their cleverness, even as they taunt you with their arcane complexity.

Doooors What's in a doooor? A puzzle by any name would not be as cute... or brainwracking. Developer Hempuli's first foray into the world of flash gaming is a deceptively adorable and simple looking platform puzzler where your only goal is to figure out how to get the glowing blue crystal on each level. There's only eighteen stages, but trust us; that's more than enough to give your brain a workout, thanks to some clever design.

Eon A space themed puzzle that puts you in the role of dashing space miner. Use your gravity wells to siphon off the colorful "stuff" provided by gas planets, and guide it to your absorbers. Okay, maybe it doesn't sound too daring or exciting, even if you do manage to cast Bruce Willis in the lead role (which isn't the case here), but Eon does manage to provide a beautiful puzzle experience that is as elegant in its technical design as it is in its pixelated visuals.

The Fisherman's Wrath If you've ever considered that walking around dressed like a tree, or fish or bear or stoneman, and talking in a computer-simulated voice is one of your life's aspirations, well here's your chance. Your fancy-dress fantasies can be finally fulfilled in The Fisherman's Wrath, an unusual kind of adventure game by BigDino. It's tricky trying to define what kind of game this is because it involves a little bit of battle, a little bit of avoidance, quite a bit of exploration and a lot of dressing up...in awesome disguises.

City Siege 4: Alien Siege The adorable warmongery of The Podge's City Siege series of strategy action-shooters has taken a turn for the extraterrestrial in City Siege 4: Alien Siege. It's time once more to blast some martians, rescue hostages from the terror of brain-sucking plants, and to buy the heck out of some wicked cool upgrades. With the feel of its predecessors, but with a streamlined sci-fi bent, City Siege 4 has awesomeness to spare.
