Rizzoli & Isles: The Boston Butcher Lend us a hand? The dock workers down in Boston are missing two... or at least, the corpse they found is. The police department suspects it may be the work of a prolific serial killer who's been in hiding for years, and it's up to you to track down the evidence and the suspect in this gorgeous but finicky point-and-click adventure from PastelGames.

Midas Legend tells us of King Midas, granted a gift by Pan that all he would touch would turn to gold. The tale is the inspiration for Midas, a puzzle platform game by Wanderlands, and overall winner of the Ludum 22 Game Jam. In it, you must guide the king to his love, but not before you reach the river that will wash him of his "gift". The theme for the competition was "Alone", a word that's perfectly captured by this short, challenging, and even poignant game.

But if you want to get to your destination you'll have to learn that sometimes you have to grease a few palms with irradiated deer meat to succeed. Really, that's a life lesson! Make the right friends to succeed in your journey... just don't make too many enemies...

Clockwork You know what really grinds my gears? Not being able to get that golden gear out from underneath that mess of beams and curves. In Clockwork, you can slide and shuffle your cares away in a clever puzzler where it takes perfect synchronization to free the gear from its elaborate entrapment.

Hollow Trapped in a cave! Gotta get out of there fast. There are flying jellyfish monsters, falling rocks, spikes, and other lovely bits of danger, but if you're fast enough, you can escape without harm. Connor Ullmann's Hollow is a platform game that's high on the challenge with a healthy injection of creative design on almost every level. You'll meet an untimely end dozens of times in this game, but you'll keep plugging away at it all the same. Practice leads to perfection!

G-Switch A one-button jump and run game, G-Switch takes the formula that made Canabalt so successful and adds an eponymous gravity-switching mechanic to create a twitchy, fast-paced experience with surprisingly zen-like results. It's a flawed masterpiece of a game, which is a shame because when it shines it really shines. More than just a clever combination of two well-tread game ideas, G-Switch is a reinvention.

Crazy Doors of Rainbow Colors A rather unusual escape game that allows the player to temporarily detach from in-the-box thinking; in order to escape you must find and follow a new sort of logic, one that is strange yet intuitive. That quality, along with the game's simple and colorful appearance, made me feel like a little kid. When I finally finished I had a huge, silly grin on my face.

Ghostscape Ghostscape, a new escape game by Psionic, is just chock full of supernatural goodness. You play a veteran investigator of the occult who, upon hearing rumors of a haunted house, cannot stay away...and what a paranormal gold mine it turns out to be! Chairs and cups move as if grasped by some invisible hand, mysterious diary entries litter the floor, grotesque paintings adorn every room. And then, of course, there are the ghosts.

Legend of the Golden Robot Grab your shovel, sharpen your sword and get ready to have your debilitating case of gold fever cured, because it's time to do some treasure hunting. You won't even have to experience the back breaking labor or the legal and moral grey areas that come with excavating artifacts. Hunt for treasure, go adventuring, do battle and more in this fun, addictive RPG!

Looming Somewhere there's a place littered with bones and the remains of an ancient civilization... and you've been drawn to it, alone. Gregory Weir's striking exploration title may lack enough direction to ensnare all players, but packs a significant wallop in the atmosphere department, and provides an intriguing story if you're willing to track it down.

Don't Escape 2 ScriptWelder returns with another clever anti-escape game, this time taking a more point-and-click adventure route as you desperately search for a way to secure an abandoned building against a horde of incoming undead. You have limited time, and your actions have consequences... can you figure out how to stay safe and alive?

The Tree of Life Tree of Life is an inventory-based puzzle game from Target Detected. Throughout the game's set of nearly 30 levels, you'll place arrows, element changers, teleporters, etc. on the pathways, guiding your element to collect all of the stars before heading to the exit. It can be tricky navigating some of the game's more sprawling levels, but you didn't expect restoring life to an ancient tree would be an easy affair, did you?

Decision 2: New City It's time to clean up a new place in this sequel to FlyAnvil's original zombie shooter. Move through the city establishing secure locations and going on missions to bring each area under control, earning cash to spend on your substantial arsenal and upgrade tree. Adding just enough new elements to the original to spice things up, Decision 2 is still a bit repetitive, but keeps the tried-and-tested zombie shooter formula from feeling too brainless, and looks good doing it.

Abacus A four-walled room escape game with simple, gradiented graphics and plenty of puzzles, most of which center around a particular theme. In this case, the theme is the blue enigma machine over on the cabinet there and the circular tumblers that it uses. Solve puzzles all around the room, get everything figured out, and eventually get that door open. The puzzles show a bit more variation than Otousan's games typically do, and the game as a whole is a bit longer and more substantial (it must be, there's a save feature this time!), which is good for those of you who found the developer's past games too easy.

Reincarnation: All Hallow's Evil In this new fun-sized Halloween-themed installment of the popular Reincarnation point and click adventure series, control the snarky demon as he attempts to see if Darcy, a soul that has escaped from down below, has taken up his old ways. Use the mouse to manipulate and combine objects to complete your mission.

Team Escaper: Escape Castle Escape Castle consistently defines fun. Although some puzzles may leave you feeling you've been there, done that, Escape Castle's final "puzzle" is a welcome twist on the genre, elevating it to a new level while harkening back to an age-old gaming tradition of the final boss battle.

Being One: <br />Episode 4 - Moonrise The fourth and final chapter in the Being One series. Taken separately, each chapter of Being One has been a little gem of horror-filled casual gameplay, combining all of the above elements into an interesting, mysterious, serialized tale. Now that tale has come to an end. Was it worth the journey? That is up to the player to decide.

Dumb Ways to Die Based on an a viral advertising campaign by Metro Trains Melbourne, Dumb Ways to Die is a gruesome but hilarious educational game where you've got to protect a crowd of unsuspecting victims from their prescribed fates. As the WarioWare-style minigames get faster and faster, you've got to pull the fork from the toaster without getting shocked or duck the jaws of a hungry bear. Dumb Ways to Die's minigames are bizarre and random, but silly and easily replayable as you try to reach a new high score.

Escape from the Scenic Room You're in a room with a beautiful view of the horizon. An Escape from the Scenic Room might be the last thing you're interested in doing, but in Tesshi-e's latest escape game of the same name, that's exactly what you're tasked with. The bouncy accordion music somehow fits the atmosphere quite well, the visuals are realistic but not overwhelmingly so, and the puzzles are well-designed and flow perfectly.

Pheus and Mor Pheus and Mor, a boy and his dog. Best friends forever, right? This puzzle platformer puts that to the test, combining stunning, dreamlike levels with ominous foreshadowing for a flawed but engaging experience. Both characters will have to work together and use their strengths to get to the end, but are they ready for what's waiting for them on the other side of that locked door?

Shop Empire 2 Little Giant World delivers a simple but dangerously addictive little simulation in the vein of Mega Mall Story as you build a chain of towering shopping centers that span the globe. Flagstaff: Chapter Two Flagstaff remains more about the silly story and casual pace than about seriously challenging veteran RPG players, but the design is cute and distinctive, the heroes all have interesting and balanced powers, and the pace is perfect for a light bit of dungeon crawling. Chapter Two builds on the promise of Chapter One, and tantalizes for the next installment of the Flagstaff series.

Final Charge Final charge is a difficult platformer, but a straightforward and simply-designed one at that. Run and jump around the sixteen sectors of the strange planet to activate the beacons and clean up the radioactivity. Beastie Bay It's Pokemon for mobile devices! Pursuit of Hat 2 Some people are willing to go far for fashion, but most of us aren't willing or able to rip off our own limbs and torso. Most of us are quitters compared to the cuddly hero of this puzzle platformer who can tear himself limb from limb to reach a hat that does not want to be caught.
