Two Minute Football 3D Pardon my americentrism, but, for my money, when this time of the year rolls around there's only one football worth caring about, and it ain't the one with a goalie. With Da Big Game™ just around the corner, I went online to satisfy my yearn for helmet-crunching sports action... and in igamebank's Shockwave Two Minute Football 3D, I think I've scored a touchdown and the 2-point conversion to boot.

It was her cat, in fact, who told her to board the midnight express to complete some secret mission. Playing much like an escape-the-room game, your goal is to find those answers by interacting with oddball characters and piecing together clues to earn the five train tickets needed to reach the end car. It's all very mysterious but even more curious: if Wasabi could talk all this time, why didn't he say something sooner?

Grid16 Ubiquitous developer jmtb02 has added another prize race horse to his growing stable of ultra-fast-paced minigame collections. While his Four Second series stuck pretty closely to the formula established by Nintendo's Wario Ware, this new game feels like its own entity, with a unified visual style and a strong sense of purpose. Grid16 is nothing less than an exploration of our primal gamer instincts, and although it isn't a complete triumph, it's a giant step in an intriguing direction.

Go To Hell Go To Hell is a skill- and reflexes-oriented puzzle game by Metasauce, creator of Hex Empire. One part digging game, one part physics playground, the title welds the two elements together into a tightly-structured experience that's as intriguing to play around with as it is to beat.

Escape from the Reddish Room Gracing the Weekday Escape stage this week is a touch of color therapy in a mellowly studious room from 10 Color Dots. Although the way may be bumpy in spots for those who do not read Japanese, this pleasant little escape utilizes its environment well to present clues and puzzles needing just the right amount of inference and deductive reasoning to solve. It's as enjoyable to spend time here as to earn your way out.

Missilebreak Outvaders Space Invaders, Missile Command and Breakout are like the venerable elder statesmen of the video gaming world. But what if hundreds or thousands of years in the future, scientists are picking through a then-ancient landfill of Atari 2600 cartridges and have to try to piece together what they mean? They might come up with something very much like the arcade mash-up Missilebreak Outvaders. A classic example where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, with three classic arcade games rolled up into one awesome experience that is exceptionally fun to play.

Grand Banda When your lightbulb bursts, you might head to the store to get a new one, but that's only because you're not nearly as funky and awesome as the two old ladies starring in this point-and-click adventure. Chickaboom The sky is full of adorable, aimless, harmless yellow birds who currently aren't covered in pink bubblegum! That simply will not do! In PhotonStorm's weird yet lovely and cheerful little chain-reaction game, make use of a limited amount of air to clear the sky of birds as their flight patterns get increasingly more complex.

Mayan Escape Mayan Escape is a fun little classic room escape game. What makes it so much fun is the amount of polish that has gone into such a basic game. Cursors that change to arrows for navigation or gears to indicate objects that can be manipulated, handy inventory control, kicking sound and graphics, this little gem resembles a chapter in an actual download game. In fact, the quality is such that it is perhaps better than a chapter in some recent download point-and-click adventures on the market.

Moonlight A gorgeous spot-the-difference game that tells the touching tale of a young man and what he finds in the forest one night. Stephanie Herrera's beautiful artwork coupled with atmospheric music sets the mood for this compelling story where you may just find yourself emotionally connecting with the main characters.

Tortuga 2 Tortuga Episode 2 is an escape-the-room game set on a pirate ship; the second installment of the Tortuga series. You have just escaped the locked room from episode 1 and the pirate is still sleeping off the sleepy spray you got him with prior to your escape, but you are still locked up on the pirate ship. You must look for items and clues to reveal a solution on how to get off the ship.

Escape from the Room with Three Keys 8 Escape from the Room with Three Keys 8 is less of a full room escape and more of a serial, one of those five to ten minute "to be continued" shorts shown before the main event. Here's a perfect way to take a short yet entertaining break that will leave you wanting more.

The Visit It's a beautiful day outside! The sun is shining, the crabs are trundling, and it's time to go visit your girlfriend! Nothing could possibly stand in your way... uh... right? A short and very simple parody platformer with multiple endings that makes fun of the expectations we have for these games.

Ragdoll Cannon 2 Ragdoll Cannon 2 is, rather logically, the sequel to Ragdoll Cannon (as teased by the release of Ragdoll Cannon 1.5). That's some no-nonsense naming, there. What designer Johnny_K might lack in titling, however, he more than compensates for in gameplay.

Also Which? Yoshio Ishii has another question for you, and in this third installment of the addictively clever puzzle series, provides even more smart and simple levels where you'll have to think outside the box. Or circle, I suppose. All you have to do is read the question and figure out which circle you need to click... even though they both seem identical.

Gravity Hook Simplicity reminiscent of an Orisinal game but with visuals and sound you might expect to find in something more old-school. Backed by an enjoyable physics engine and a simple but well-executed concept and virtually no down-time, Gravity Hook is a simple, grappling hook arcade game that borders on clinically addictive.

The Naked Alien The Naked Alien is an action platformer by Lucas Paakh that offers players a quirky encounter of the nude kind, as its titular being sets out to map uncharted territory. It's a little by-the-numbers, but The Naked Alien is strangely amusing, and definitely showcases the developers prodigious artistic talents.

Poto & Cabenga Poto and Cabenga are minding their own business, riding along and collecting golden feathers, when a giant skybeast swoops down and swallows Poto whole! Now you need to control both characters, racing along on the top and bottom of the screen, to eventually reunite horse and rider under usual circumstances with this challenging one button game of reflexes and action.

Libertechno returns with the seventh episode of Aries Escape, along with a whole new batch of dastardly puzzles to keep you locked inside. Navigate the room and explore your hint-laden surroundings by clicking key areas indicated by a changing cursor. Doors 2: Dave's New Job When Dave's new construction co-workers strand him on the top floor of an unfinished building, he finds himself in familiar, physics-bending, puzzle-platforming territory. It's Doors 2: Dave's New Job by Arctic Arcade. A enjoyably mellow piece of gaming that most should be able to complete in one sitting.

Little Protectors The latest in the Protector series from Undefined might not be what you expect, but it still has all the strategy and fantasy you love. Just keep an eye on that timer cause, you know, there's no dilly-dallying in taking over the world.

Cyad 2 So, you think you're the Sultan of Sokoban? The Titan of Tiles? The Big Cheese of Block Pushing? HA! Let's see how you fare now that James Newcombe has come back with a new release in his popular Amiga-inspired Cyadonia series. There'll be all sorts of things to trip you up: mines, arrows, pushblocks, dissolvers, switches, glue patches, bounce-backs, teleporters, one-way walls, and much, much more. It's Cyad 2, and it's ready to bring you all the pleasures of pure puzzling.

Swarm Simulator Bugs make the world go 'round in this creepy crawly incremental idle game. All you have in the beginning are piles of growing larvae, but with enough of them you can make drones to gather meat, and with enough of them you can make queens to create powerful attack bugs, and with enough of THEM... well... you get the idea.

Frantic 3 Polymer Rabbit kicks it up a notch with the next entry in their top-down shooters with Frantic 3. More levels, more bullets (and let's not forget bigger bullets too)... they're just gonna throw everything they can at you. But you can take it cause you're a lean, mean, projectile-avoiding, shooting machine. Seriously, your ship's set to auto-fire. At least that's one less thing to worry about as you weave your way through 15 stages (plus 15 more bonus stages) of bullet hell.

Catchy Orbit Everybody likes explosions, right? In Catchy Orbit, all you have to do is launch some balls into others and see how big a boom you can get. With three different kinds of balls and twenty-two levels to enjoy, this is a casual, yet exciting one-button puzzler.

Stake vampires as they rise in their coffins! Um...eat...stuff. It's all here, with three difficulty levels across four distinct stages, a different song in each level, and a final "mix-tape" stage that surreally switches context between the stages over the course of the song.

Help him get back to Earth by clicking the right places and in the proper order. Odd-yet-entertaining, although not as strange as Minoto, there's as much fun in watching each scene unfold as in figuring out how to get there.

Serendipity in 2D Serendipity in 2D is an arty game, maybe even an experimental one. You view a hospital from the side, the walls cut away. With your far-reaching cursor you have to orchestrate chains of events that will ultimately lead to three things: someone being saved, someone finding love and someone dying.

Loom Custody Loom Custody is the latest escape game from Place of Light. In it you wake to find yourself ensconced in a grimy, nearly-bare cell. The blue sky glimpsed through a high window grate is the sole spot of cheer in your bleak prison; with a bit of exploration, however, you will find that the room is far more intriguing and complex than it first appears. To have any chance of escape, you must discover clues, solve puzzles and use all of the limited resources at your disposal.

Growbox Growbox puts you in control of a hungry little square whose mission is to devour golden dots. Nom them all up, then move on to the next level where you get to do it again! Why? Town of Fears Detective Marco is having a rough week. There's a serial killer on the loose, the professor he wished to consult has run off to the spooky town of Kraig Rock, and there's all these friggin' dire wolves on the prowl. Even as a typically hard-boiled Visual Novel action-RPG protagonist, he'll need all of his skills and the support of all of Kraig Rock's mysterious inhabitants if he hopes to unravel all the mysteries of the Town of Fears.

Combat Hero Adventures Simple does not mean that there's any less action, it just means there's more bullets and less to think about. No grenades, one weapon at a time, simple weapon shop and upgrades, it all means nothing but twitchy shooting action, one hundred percent of the time. Some might call it shallow, but I'd call it pure.

Find the Escape Men 43: EM-taro This week's featured escape game is a new installment of finding those elusive green guys that point the way out in Find the Escape Men 43: EM-taro, No1Game's epic serial about escaping ...whatever room they happen to be in this time around. Think of Find the Escape-Men 43: EM-taro not as a feature film but as a lovely animated short, something to hold your attention for ten minutes or so and provide a lovely mid-week break.

Chromatic Think you got skills? Swap back and forth between colors and test your brains and your fingers in this tough as nails platformer. Despite being insanely hard and none too friendly to the color blind, Chromatic is itself an awesome achievement. It molds together blistering skill platforming with puzzle platforming whilst injecting a unique concept into the gameplay, and it does this with few hiccups and awesome production values.

Forever Samurai Slash your way through monsters of myth and legend in this off-kilter side-scroller where you play as a lone samurai, pursuing a great dragon. Master special moves before they master you, buy upgrades, and drink in the sleek scenery as you race towards your destiny.

Scuttle Buggery Your role in Scuttle Buggery is that of of a lowly beetle, trudging through a grimy, moth-infested world stitched together from burnt paper and rusty typewriter parts. Your burden is to find drops of oil and liquor near the discarded musty bottles from which they spew, and push them into the appropriate drains. The artwork is sumptuously detailed, perfectly matched to the music, full of decadent textures and decay. The liquid transparency effects are especially noteworthy, but everything, right down to the creepy flutter of a moth's wings, has been rendered with sickly beauty and realism.

Medieval Shark It seems that Ye Olde Sharke has managed to find Ye Olde Tyme Machyne, and used it to transport himself to a feeding frenzy that only the middle ages could possibly provide. Mausland Entertainment presents: Medieval Shark. a fast-paced action game starring a creature hungry for a little bit more than a turkey leg from the county Renn Faire. Done in the signature hyper-kinetic Mausland style, Medieval Shark is more heavy on the flash than the substance, but it makes for a heck of a ride.

Splitman 2 If I were a Splitman, all day long I'd use rotating saws to split myself into multiple copies and make my way through a puzzle platforming world. Or rather, that's what happens in Splitman 2 by Keybol. Fans of the original should appreciate the clever level design, even with the lag that occurs when the clones start to fill up the screen.

Mars Commando In the year 2049, all the water on Earth has been depleted. The nearest source of the good stuff is our friendly neighborhood Mars. So... let's go get it, shall we? Mars Commando is a defense game that emphasizes unit placement and strategy over swarms of soldiers, allowing you to earn the satisfaction of eradicating thousands of aliens with half a dozen of your own troops.

Pocket Mortys Adult Swim's wildly popular and profane adult cartoon series goes RPG in this free game for iOS and Android! Someone is separating Mortys from their Ricks all throughout the multiverse, and it's up to you to find out who, though you'll need to prove yourself to the Council of Ricks by earning badges from battling other Morty trainers. High on fantastic production value but unexpectedly drastically toned down in tone makes Pocket Mortys easily accessible to just about anyone.

My First Laundry Day In this latest point-and-click puzzle game from no1game, one little girl's mother thinks she's big enough to do the laundry all by herself, and she's written down a list of all the items to find and what she needs to do with them. Ossuary: The Hodge/Podge Transformer Created as a prologue/demo/companion piece to the commercial indie title Ossuary, this strange and somewhat unsettling adventure will take you on a psychological and philosophical narrative as you unravel what happened to cause your journey to be thrown off tilt on your way to the Place of Bones.

Shy Dwarf (Plachy Trpaslik) Shy Dwarf is a gorgeously animated little adventure where you play as a little black blob with a jaunty red hat. But Shy Dwarf is something of an enigma. Fun, short, and completely baffling. We're not sure exactly what it all means, or if it's supposed to mean anything at all. Whatever the case, we couldn't resist its unmistakable charm.

This is a Work of Fiction If you like edgy atmosphere, mysterious trappings, and figuring things out without instructions, Eli Piilonon's puzzle/riddle game This is a Work of Fiction is well worth your time. Just be persistent, and don't let the paranoid ambiance get to you. It is a Work of Fiction, after all.

Cat God vs. Sun King Cat God vs. Sun King is an interesting volley into the defense genre: the enemy is sending waves upon waves in an attempt to build a tower, and you're purely and simply trying to destroy them all. Plus you're a cute little cat. The more you use abilities, the cheaper, quicker and more powerful they will get, up to a max of three levels per skill. Once you kill every enemy, you win the level.

Vampire Skills Aah, to be young again. To experience the thrills of the imagination. To not pay income taxes. To prowl about the night hypnotizing people, utilizing my super strength powers, flying like a bat, and unleashing telekinetic powers that can do virtually anything I desire. While that may not exactly be the childhood of anyone reading this review (or writing it, for that matter), in the point-and-click puzzle game Vampire Skills, you take on the role of a young vampire (is that even possible?) learning to use his skills. And yes, it's about as whimsical as it sounds!
