My First Laundry Day

The little girl in no1game's cute point-and-click puzzle game My First Laundry Day may think she's too small to do laundry all by herself, but she's already several leagues ahead of a lot of people, some with decades on her, just by trying at all! Her mother's too busy to help, but she's written down some instructions, telling you what you need to gather, and then how to wash it all. To play, just click to explore the apartment, and click the question mark beneath items in your inventory to take a closer look at them. My First Laundry day is a little more elaborate than the other My First games no1game has created, taking place over multiple rooms and even consisting of multiple objectives beyond simply gathering a bunch of items in one place. Despite some finicky hotspots to find some items and angles, it's still as adorable as you'd expect, and a nice step up in complexity from other games in the series.

Well, I think I found a bug - I accidentally put the laundry back in the machine after I washed it already, and couldn't get it back out. I restarted the machine hoping it would finish quickly, but nope... I had already solved the puzzle that triggers the wash to be done, so now it's just going and going.

What the heck, mom?

Why would you have me fold the clothes BEFORE we iron?!?

Reply

What am I missing? Where can I find

the socks? Is it hidden behind the 4 colors puzzle on the bed? B/c I'm not sure how to solve that. I have everything else I need

Reply

Not sure if you've played this guy's games before but

the desk and chair is familiar

you can use it as a stepping stool to reach a higher spot

Reply

DOH! How did I miss that?!?! Thanks!!!

can't wait for this :)

What a lazy mother, having her daughter do all her chores
(like using a hot iron)! :)

I didn't realize ... you have to put the clothes into the washer before you get the clue to the bedside puzzle.

I'm stuck with just the

apron

left to find. I also can't figure out any of the codes I've discovered in my hunt.

@Leopardmask, I had the same problem...
try this:

look at the bookcase, doesn't the colour of the books look familiar?

Oh, of course it does! Thank you!

Buuuut now I'm stuck on the color puzzle. I have the clue I need but am not sure how to interpret it. Maybe power of posting will help me.

And now I accidentally closed the tab. Getting back to where I was but now I've forgotten where I found the handkerchief -_-

Heh. Look at what the girl is 'ironing' at the end. :D

Leopardmask, for the handkerchief,

look in the lower parts of the start screen, in the hallway

Okay, Mom, it's weird that you're having someone who's in kindergarten do laundry...

...But to have those socks on top of the bookshelf?! Seriously?!

Re: Color Puzzle

It has to do with the colors on the washing machine display after you turn it on.

Combine them according to the traditional color wheel.

Purple, Orange, Grey, Green.

nothing yet huh? ok. :)

How do you

Make the washing machine stop? How long do you have to wait?

Reply

First you take the clue from the display on the washing machine

the colours combine to make the colours for the puzzle on the left leg of the bed.

then the game will automatically say "half an hour later".

Similar for when you are waiting for the clothes to dry on the line.

I like the way the bedroom was the same as it was in the other games of these series (apart from the big table of organisation), and the EM reference.

I don't remember being able to read and follow such long lists when I was in kindergarten ;)
