The Spider's Bride We here at JIG don't endorse rampant butterfly carnage. But we do support true love. Squash butterflies to keep your betrothed fed in this game of skill and balance!

Escape from Mystery Science Room Getting into a science laboratory is much easier than it looks; just ask Dee Dee. Getting out of one, however, is another story. espcgm's clever little escaper drops you into what appears to be a chemistry lab, and tasks you with puzzling your way out. Don't let the MS Paint graphics throw you off; Escape from Mystery Science Room is not a bad game. The meat of an escaper is its gameplay, and this is a game that has it; the puzzles are logical and flow well, and although there's no changing cursor, the lack of pixel-hunting means you don't really need it. Overall, EfMSR is a game that's just difficult enough, and well worth the trip.

Soap Bubble 2 While we at JayIsGames pride ourselves on featuring the best and latest in casual gaming, we always have time to feature quality works that fell through the cracks. Case in point: Soap Bubble, a, if not the, prototypical avoidance game, was originally released in 2002 and became one of the earliest games featured on the site. The charming and devilishly difficult tale of an ultra-delicate bubble trying to make his way through a cave back to his friends was the start of great things for Anders Gustafsson including the Audience Award winning Gateway series and the coolly claymated The Dream Machine. So it seems that the 2006 sequel which continued the story of the iridescent sphere that could passed us by... until today! Soap Bubble 2 keeps what was best about the original while still feeling fresh.

Hydro Hydro is a side- scrolling shoot-em-up with a methodical pace and an odd premise. Armed with a water gun, a jet-pack, and a snazzy shorts 'n t-shirt combo, you must battle a horde of flying robots that are all shaped like sea-life and have names like "Roboctopus". It's just a simple, well-told story of a flying man and his deadly water pistol.

Brain Cell Brain Cell is the brain child of Ryan Gibson for the U.K.-based development team DESQ, an organization devoted to the development of Web-based and digital learning projects. In a recent attempt to contribute to casual gaming, DESQ released Brain Cell in the hopes of enhancing your typical room escape game and taking it to the next level. In many ways, it succeeds; featuring a gorgeous (yet bandwidth-intensive) take on the usual point-and-click, room escape genre.

Sundrops Shoot the pearls and save your ammo in this creative twist on the Peggle genre. What starts off as a simple, cheery arcade game gradually ramps up the challenge by introducing new elements to contend with on the playing field that do a lot to both make it stand out and steal your time.

Adventures of Valentin: <br />The Valiant Viking Valentin isn't what you would call the bravest Viking in the village. His best ability of running in fear is a better asset for the hundred meter dash than a battle with some big old brutes. However, he has to prove himself somehow and taking on the evil wizard who kidnapped Princess Estelle is the perfect way to do so. Armed with only his wits, guide Valentin through thirteen scenes of point and click adventure and brave the terrible wizard!

Air Drop A mouse-avoider game from Finefin, the makers of Dotville. Your goal is to skydive from Point A (umpteen thousand feet up) to Point B (the ground) relatively unscathed. Waterslide Inferno Slide as long as you can before the heat gets you in this quirky, fast-paced arcade game. If you have to ask why there are fires on a waterslide, well, clearly you have never heard the sad tale of Dormant Volcano Waterpark and the gypsy that cursed it. Maybe you should be asking yourself why you'd want to take one last ride down something known as a "death pipe" instead.

Swift Turn 2 Fans of physics puzzles could do a lot worse than Swift Turn 2. It dodges a lot of the frustration that puzzle games tend to run into which is a great breath of fresh air. Your goal is to collect all the stars and then hit a goalpost, but naturally this isn't as easy as it might sound. There's a variety of mechanisms around each stage that do wacky things to physics.

Must Escape: The Clock Tower Self-Defiant serves up a short and simple but satisfying escape challenge that begins with you getting lost while exploring a clock tower, and ends with you explaining to me how you managed to get lost in a clock tower where the only way to go is straight up or down.
