Another game from Japan, this adventure game is a bit of a mystery but looks promising in that it appears to be another one of those clicky puzzles like Viridian Room and like Samorost, and yet with a bit more action involved. All the text is in Japanese, so best of luck brave adventurer!

In Flatland, it is your mission to destroy wave after wave of... things. You get points. OK, the idea isn't completely original, but the design is quite interesting. At first you start off in a tiny ship with litle armor and a miniscule weapon. Destroying enemies will cause them to explode in an array of large blocky pixels, the collection of which upgrades your ship. The interesting bit is that collecting an odd number of them gives you an odd shaped ship until you gather more and regain composure.

What that means is that it's impossible to 'beat' the game, the aliens just keep coming at you relentlessly.
In this short but challenging free indie horror stealth game, you'll have to be quick to outwit the horrifying creatures roaming the halls. The story is a little TOO deliberately vague, and some clunky movement makes for the occasional unfair demise, but incredible atmosphere and a great concept makes this game by a student developer one to check out.

The quick-fire arcade game from Kevin Messman is a sort of 3D homage to Terry Cavanagh's Super Hexagon. Instead of a nice and "easy" flat surface to slide around, Rotational sticks you in a series of shrinking colored boxes with only one way to escape. Rotate the screen so you pop through the open end, then immediately rotate everything again so you'll survive the next layer of box shrinkage. Oh, and, try not to breathe or blink or anything.
In Lethal Dose, the new interactive movie by DonkeyWoman, you play the part of a femme very fatale, carrying out assassinations against whatever poor sap has crossed someone rich enough to make them disappear. But when demons from her past begin to resurface, the choice of targets will soon end up being hers alone. Aesthetically amazing, though heavy on the quick time events.

In Stealth Bastard, a stealth platform game from Curve Studios, moving around unseen is what it's all about. A Good Hunch! is a charmingly illustrated and animated platform game of teamwork starring Harvey and Tina, a pair of very colorful goats. In each level you play first as Harvey making your way to one of two available exits. Then switch to Tina to find your way to the 2nd exit while your actions for Harvey are replayed simultaneously. Only one exit may be used per goat, and you may have to jump on Harvey's back to reach higher areas.
