Long Time Ago Find yourself trapped inside these ancient limestone walls with only your wits, a few clues and a patent love of solving puzzles as your means to freedom in this escape-the-pyramid game from TomaTea. While not markedly long or arduous, Long Time Ago has a number of enigmatic moments with just a few textual indicators and a glowing cursor to nudge you in the right direction. The clues are occasionally inconspicuous, but they're all there for those who seek them out—so, experiment a bit, put on your Indiana Jones hat, and tell that sphinx to "Bring it!" .

Time 4 Cat Time 4 Cat is a mouse avoider game in which your movements also control the enemy, so you can make everyone stop and start, or go faster or slower. Your goal is to hustle through the big city and scoop up all the food that is dropped. Each piece of food has a count-down timer on it, the faster you collect the food the higher your score. What makes this game stand out is the fact that you can slow everything down and go at your own pace.

Mofuya Defense Mofuya Defense is an excellent addition to the tower defense genre, featuring an upgradeable base that can defend itself, and a balanced power resource management system. With cute pixel graphics, a comfortable learning curve, a good number of weapons at your disposal, and additional features not found in other tower defense games, Mofuya Defense is definitely worth investing some time in.

Why doesn't anyone answer?

Saturn There's something unsettling about these stark, washed out sterile backgrounds, very typical of the whole series. Yet the look only adds to the sense of mystery as the player works their way closer and closer to the denouement, whatever that may be in the end. Brace yourself for some strangeness, and join the journey to the center of the house, the solar system, or the human soul. You decide.

Maze-a-Pix Light Need a zen break for your tired brain cells? Always wanted to create pixel art of Che Guevara or a man on a palm tree, but lacked the artistic skills? Now by solving some simple mazes in Maze-a-Pix Light, you can draw and relax at the same time! It's all part of the magic of Conceptis Light.

Deretaraano Green spandex? Human beetles? Questionable silhouettes? It's gotta be a Detarou escape game. Mixing puzzles with strange environments and stranger characters, it has all the surreal oddities you've come to expect, plus three endings to discover.

After waking up from a bad bump on the head, you'll need to explore your ship to discover the fate of your crew and piece together all the mysterious things going on.

Recursion Ever since Pac-Man first escaped off the right side of the screen to magically appear on the left, players have had a certain thing for games that skew traditional notions of spatiality. The Village Blacksmith offers another wonderful take on this kind of teleportation in Recursion, a cool little retro puzzle platformer. The series of single screen levels progresses nicely, even if the jumps require a bit too much precision. Still, Recursion worth playing over and over again.

No time to ask questions, every able-bodied sloth needs to load up his hot-air balloon with unsafe amounts of explosives and strike back! Super Sloth Bomber, from Megadev, is a short but relentlessly cheery, fasted-paced game of bombs and reflexes.

10 is Again Quick, what do you get when you add 10 and 10? The answer is still 10, because 10 is Again! Never mind that that makes no mathematical or grammatical sense, because all that matters is that in 10 is Again, you've got to slide numbered tiles to make stacks that up to exactly ten. In this level pack, multiplication, division, and inversion tiles are added to the mix to make the math just a little wilder and the puzzling a little trickier.

Save the Planet Save The Planet is a simple shooter in which you aim with your mouse, and fire by holding the left mouse button and releasing after charging the shot. These Robotic Hearts of Mine Interactive art has a reputation for being light on the challenge, but These Robotic Hearts of Mine, a puzzle game by Alan Hazelden definitely shows that it doesn't have to be. It's a simple game of gears and direction... one that I would love to see re-created in the physical space of a gallery. However, each solution presents another line in a story of technology, hearts and heartbreak. The puzzles alone would be fine, and the elegy is affecting. However, the combination fits like one hand into another.

Tercessrebmun (Secret Numbers) Tonypa is back with a new puzzle game and this one will surely give your grey matter a work out. In the spirit of Web-based riddle games, Tercessrebmun (or Secret Numbers) is a Flash game in which you must figure out the password for each of the game's 30 levels. Each level presents a series of characters from which you must derive meaning and clues that point to a single numeric answer.

Tarnation Tarnation is a clever real-time strategy game by Brad Merritt that bears some resemblance to a tower defense title. You control a garden with rows of seeds ready to sprout into flowers that will dash off and dispatch incoming bugs. The bugs are made of Tar, you see, and if they reach the stream in front of your flower bed, they start to gunk up the water. Merely defeating all the bugs is enough to pass, but real excellence comes by releasing only as many flowers as you need.

Transylvania Transylvania is without a doubt the best point-and-click game about a sleepwalking potato who accidentally drives his car into the depths of hell that I have ever played. No, you can expect to die many, many times on your quest to escape back to Miss Potato, often in extremely unfair (but hilarious!) ways.

Cover Orange: Players Pack Aside from an optional "acid" reskin, Cover Orange: Players Pack keeps the same mechanics as its predecessors. That's because this game contains the winners of a level design contest. There were $4000 in prizes, including a $1000 prize for the top level, which is something pretty cool to think about when you're playing it. "This single level cost $1000. Wow. Kodachrome A simple errand takes a turn for the surreal when our hero, forced away from the video game console and out of the house, stumbles down a hole into the middle of the earth where he is, of course, tasked with tracking down magical gems. The same thing happened to me the other day. A little bit retro, mixed with a healthy dose of metroidvania and high-difficulty platforming, and Kodachrome is a weird but appealing little challenge.

Monkey GO Happy Western Howdy, pardner! Our monkeys are a mite unhappy yet again, and only one thing will cheer them up in this short, silly point-and-click puzzle game! Tug the Table You know what your average tug-of-war game needs? A table instead of a rope. At least that's what Otto Ojola thinks, and he's turned the idea into Tug the Table, a simple yet wonderful fighting game that manages to be reminiscent of Wrestle Jump while still being unique.

Sneak Thief 4: Fourth Find Aboard a suspicious hot air balloon, our titular thieving hero has no choice but to press onward and craft the most dubious robot you've ever seen in order to find his way out in the fourth installment of Pastel Games' popular point-and-click escape adventure series.

Canyon Defense Canyon Defense is, not surprisingly, a tower defense game with nice pixel art and that does things a bit differently. First of all, there are no upgrades. What if I told you this heresy against form also has time-based special abilities? And support buildings? If you want some fresh TD with a Mad Max aesthetic, try Canyon Defense.

The Dead Case For most of us, waking up in a coffin isn't a great start to our day. Taberinos Taberinos shows the brilliance of stripping down a type of game to its very basics. Simple, elegant gameplay that changes every time you start it up. Yes, that is a recipe for serious time suckage. So get shooting! Just, you know, don't let the boss catch you.

Soul Core The fourth in the "Core" series of point-and-click adventure games created by John Feltham has just been released. Soul Core is similar to other games like this, and yet introduces a unique concept as well. Use your mouse to add items to your inventory; click on inventory items and drag them to the game view to use them. Try to complete the game with 100% "soul" rating.

Stranded in space with your autosystems glitching out, it's up to you sort out what's going on and to pull it all together in Jake Holland's zany sci-fi themed incremental game Spaceplan.

Dismantlement: Mini Keyboard 2 There's a bomb in your keyboard, and only you and your trusty-dusty screwdriver can point-and-click through the puzzles that hide it to safely defuse it! This latest installment in the popular Dismantlement series might give you a serious case of deja vu, but if you're a fan of explosive everyday objects you'll probably still relish another opportunity to save the day.

furiosity Bart Bonte's latest puzzle game is designed to challenge your ability to recognize patterns then turn around and put them to use. Should be easy, right? If you've ever played a Bart Bonte game, you know that figuring out how to solve the puzzle is just as challenging as actually solving it!

Diversity Diversity is more of an escape-the-house game, rather than escape-the-room; in order to finally achieve freedom, the player must exit first a bedroom, then an office, then a nursery and finally a bathroom. This aside, Diversity is a well-executed, if fairly standard, point-and-click game, no doubt inspired by the classic Crimson Room.

Blackwood Prologue Costis doesn't remember how he got here. He doesn't know why the world keeps changing around him. And he certainly doesn't know the man in black who seems to be following him. But every little boy knows when it is time to explore, and so he will. For better or worse... Blackwood prologue is a platforming piece of interactive art by Blake Mann, that takes you inside the mind of a kid who just might find his future in his dreams. Marvelously atmospheric, even evocative, the dream logic nature of the game means, inevitably, more questions will be raised than answered. But as the title says, it's just the prologue...

Captain Forever In space, nobody can hear you scream. But that doesn't stop you from tearing around, blowing up other ships, and slapping their debris onto your rig before running away from some angry bogeys flying in on your six. When a sleep-deprived pilot puts you in charge of his ship, you have to navigate the depths of Captain Forever, fighting other pilots for pieces of their ships to build the meanest spacecraft on the galactic block. Engage in your ultimate build-a-space-ship-from-stealing-other-people's-rubbish fantasy.

Late for Date It's so very soothing and lovely inside TomaTea's latest escape game, but you don't have time to relax because you're late! Keep your eyes open and solve the puzzles laying around, some with solutions hidden in plain sight, and others more devious. Puzzles preventing you from leaving your own home, might I add. Maybe it's time to admit you have a problem?

The Visitor: Massacre at Camp Happy We are not alone, and they are not friendly. In this appropriately creepy and squishy sequel to the original, the gameplay takes a different course; manually control an alien parasite that has crash-landed to Earth right in the middle of Camp Happy, a vast campground teeming with all manner of creatures to eat. Devour different animals to take their unique abilities and figure out how best to use your environment to your advantage to reach your goal of tender human entrés. Mmmm!

My Little Army My Little Army is clever strategy fun that wears its real-time nature on its sleeve, made from cutesy graphics and carried forward by purely-for-decoration storylines. You might even be fooled by thinking that this makes the game easy. See if you feel that way when a giant Jason is stomping your Khan Kong's face.

Ghost Hacker 2 There's a ghost in the system, and you're it! But you're not the spooky, chain-rattling kind. You're the rad, hacking, fight-for-justice kind! In this addictive sequel to 2010's popular tower defense game, place defensive programs and upgrade them with nodes to protect your data, or swarm your opponent with hostiles of your own in Monster Mode!

Into Space 2 The moon? We're over it. Nowadays everyone wants to go to Mars, and if you're handy with a rocket, you can take us there. Barbarian Games adds a surprising amount of depth to this launch title by packing on the upgrades, adding a realistic feel to the controls, and even a whole bunch of extra missions that will keep you busy for a long time.

unReal 2 Dive into another immersive room escape involving a near-featureless white room and lots and lots of tricky puzzles in Factory.112's amazing sequel, unReal 2.

Globetrotter XL Globetrotter is as simple as it gets. You're given a map and you're given a location, and you must click on where you think that location is on the map. Sure, this is easy if you're looking for New York, United States or London, England, but good luck with Tunis, Tunisia on your first go, and believe me, Australia can be trickier than you may think.

Angular Momentum In Angular Momentum players are plunged into what looks like a futuristic ant farm and must guide the requisite ball through a series of chambers to the exit. The levels boast twisty, up and down landscapes worthy of Sonic the Hedgehog; tools such as speed boosts and jump platforms will help you reach the exits, but beware of the eeeevil orange panels that will send you back to the start.
