DUI There's something satisfying about destroying things. Knowing that someone spent time and energy building something up, only to have you rush in and smash it to bits? Deeply, deeply satisfying. But unless we specialize in demolition, warfare, or catty schoolhouse comments, this desire to destroy goes unfulfilled. So for us normal people, there's physics-based destroyer games like DUI.

Cappuccino Under The Leaves Cappuccino Under The Leaves, by Japanese developer Karabina-7, is a point and click based around making a frog a cup of coffee. Yeah, it's an odd kind of work, but with its engagingly cute aesthetic, and challenging, but logical, puzzles, Cappuccino Under The Leaves is an excellent blend that's good to the last drop.

Earn to Die It's a vision of the future we've all considered at one time or another: zombies have taken over the world, and the only way we can get to safety is to drive beat-up old vehicles across the barren landscape, splatting undead walkers as we floor it until we're out of gas. Earn to Die lets us play out that inevitable reality in the safety of our own mobile devices, dropping you in a desert and giving you a hefty garage of upgrades and the ability to earn cash by running into the wilderness and stunt driving as far as you can over and over again. Despite being a teensy bit repetitive, Earn to Die has that lovely ability to keep us hooked, probably because we get to crush zombies with sawblades attached to our bumper.

Boss Slayer In Sergio Alonso's shiny new bullet hell shooter, Boss Slayer, Ten alien starships have entered the solar system and you have 12 days to destroy these bad boys before they make their final approach to Earth. The game features an array of upgrades, of which each has a clear, immediate effect and it can be a lot of fun to watch your weak little ship transform so quickly into a beefy alien antagonizer. Boss Slayer isn't an innovative game by any means, but it understands the genre perfectly and serves up a smooth, streamlined gameplay experience.

Anodyne Broom attack! Also, you might be trapped in a dream. Or some other sort of subconscious realm. It's tough to tell, but judging from the strange sights and the cryptic "as legend has foretold" messages from sages and statues, there's definitely something odd going on here. Anodyne from Sean Hogan and Jonathan Kittaka is an adventure through a melancholy world that plays out like a classic 16-bit RPG. It borrows some of the best micro-concepts from games like The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Yume Nikki, and even Earthbound, creating a world that's as innocent as it is moving and as dangerous as it is surreal.

Thule Trail Thule Trail is a re-imagining of the grade school classic, Oregon Trail, but instead of playing a family of 19th century immigrants, you play a group of 20 somethings road-tripping to a music festival. Instead of going to Oregon, you're going to Santa Barbara. The game takes its name from the 20th century occult society that sought the road to Atlantis; the music festival you travel to is called Atlantis, so it works. The rest of the game follows suit like a friendly slacker.

Monsterland 3: Junior Returns He's baaaaaaaaaack. Junior wants to play, and Senior wants to sleep. This time, in addition to a bunch of precarious physics puzzles, Senior's set up some traps to remain undisturbed. But Junior's not going to let that stand in his way, and he's even got a new trick... wings!

Phantom Mansion 2: <br />The North Sea Aaaarrrrr you ready to push some crates and unlock millions of doors, matey? Hoverboard Webcomic xkcd has been around for over a decade, and to celebrate the release of his new book, creator Randall Munroe has created a very simple piece of platforming interactive art. But venture beyond the small playing field, and you'll find a much bigger world than you thought that's full of surprises.

Help Ben and Isabelle navigate through limbo in more than 75 levels of diverse and complex tile-removing puzzles.

Tic-Tac-Logic Light Vol. 1 Some of our mobile readers may have picked up Conceptis Puzzles' Tic-Tac-Logic, a logic puzzle where you've got to fill the grid making sure rows have an equal number of Xs and Os, but never three-in-a-row, and no two rows are identical. But why should they have all the fun? In Tic-Tac-Logic Light Vol. 1, you can play a sampler of 30 puzzles right in your browser, thanks to this newest addition to the Conceptis Light series.

Terra Coda Terra Coda is an adventure game originally developed by Zillix for Ludum Dare 19, now re-released in a polished form, wherein you live and relive the life of a time-skipping alien organism trying to escape from disaster. It's a game that throws you in at the deep end, but one that very much evokes the thrill of discovery.

BLOCnog Get yourself into a bit of a sticky situation with a sliding block game all about sticking other blocks to yourself! As a smiling, orange block, slide around the playing field. Any other orange blocks you touch will stick to you and become part of your body. But if you get too big, you might have to rely on spikes and bombs to carve yourself down to size! Become the right shape to fit on top of the red-and-yellow goal!

Hot Air Hot Air is a delightful action game with irresistible pixel graphics reminiscent of an old-school Mario game. Navigate a hot air balloon from its green starting platform to the red landing platform within each level. To succeed you will need to maneuver around obstacles and onto platforms, collecting keys to open gates while avoiding just about everything that will make the balloon pop. Much easier said than done.

Swindler 2 The evergreen bandit is back! Swindler 2 picks up right where the Nitrome original left off with another batch of treasure chests to be stolen. As before, you always fall with gravity, so the trick to this physics puzzle is to rotate the world around you as you dangle. However, Swindler's not satisfied sticking to his power cord, so you're going to have to cut loose to make it past the traps and enemies to reach the loot!

Kumiho Is your trigger-finger ready for a challenge? Then load up the beautiful but deadly Ludum Dare competition entry Kumiho. Pilot a ship with the ability to teleport against hordes of semi-organic monstrosities transformed by a vengeful Goddess. With striking visuals and simple but high-difficulty gameplay, it's a lovely little diversion if your reflexes are up to the task.

Swift☆Stitch Swift Stitch, from Sophie Houlden, author of some fan-favorite browser games like Linear RPG and BOXGAME, is a one button (almost) arcade game that's all about speed, direction, and crashing into walls because you got confused as to which way your ship was going to go when you pressed the "switch" button. Smart decisions and quick reflexes get you through this game, and if the 20 odd levels in the free browser demo get you excited, there's more than twice that content awaiting you in the full version!

LovePunks: The Game LovePunks: The Game, developed by a group of the same name and with help from the Yijala Yala cultural arts program, is strange, crazy, bizarre, and absolutely wonderful. It has all the energy and vitality that you would expect from a creative band of 9, 10, and 11 year-olds, and they were clearly having a blast putting it together. Though its showcasing of the photo-realistic animations makes gameplay feel a little aimless, overall it is a singularly unique piece of interactive art.

The Mind Bender Talk about your misnomers! With a name like The Mind Bender, you'd think you were in for an epically long and devious puzzler. Instead, you get a simple, breezy platformer that should make for a nice break from the some of the more intense offerings we've reviewed lately.

Pivot There are 49 rooms, and 49 treasure chests, and for the most obvious reason in the world, you have to open them all. How can you get to them all? You're not super fast, you're not super strong, and you can't fly. But you can rotate the world around you, which is quite a useful power to have, especially in a platformer. Now where was that 48th chest again?

Truck Loader With graffiti on the walls, funky-fresh music and a grunchy-chic environment, you'd think that Truck Loader was trying a little too hard to be cool. Were this another shoot 'em up or platformer, I'd probably have dismissed it outright but Truck Loader is a refreshingly ghetto-looking stack 'em up puzzler with a twist.
