Hot Tub Heist Hot Tub Heist is a gloriously silly action arcade game from Beef Jack Studios. It stars a speedo-clad body-builder who must abandon his daily GTL routine, so that he may battle through a collapsing high rise, to reach the safety of the alien-proof subway below. Hot Tub Heist is goofy, but its constant race to the bottom is a compelling premise.

A simple click will cause the creatures to change form to allow you to manipulate your surroundings to get rid of those pesky monsters for good!

Planet Blirp Blast aliens on Planet Blirp, an sidescrolling action shooter from Helmet Games. A very familiar kind of game, though its variety of mission objectives and humorous storyline separate it from the pack. An emphasis on grinding and a steep learning curve mar the experience, but overall it is a solid time-waster.

Bump Battle Royale Nitrome has done it again! Launch your little character across the map and knock your opponents out of the ring in this one-button game that's easy to learn but hard to master. You'll need quick reflexes and good aim if you want to survive.

Land of Enki 2 Land of Enki 2 is a retro-style action-platform game by VoidForce where players will travel to an engaging fantasy world, discover fascinating creatures, then slice them in half. Its look and mechanics are reminiscent of a mid-90s DOS platformer and sequence of short, simple levels are perfect for people looking for a game high on atmosphere but low on challenge (apart from the frustrating ladder-jumping).

Flightless Dragons Quiet please. If you'll look this way, you should be able to see the Flightless Dragons, Draco nonvolo, in their native puzzle habitat. Note how they are unable to reach the gems down there in the corner. Laser Puzzle Laser Puzzle is just what it sounds like: A puzzle with lasers. You've got to redirect the colored beams to the receptors, but instead of freely dropping mirrors around the grid, a series of mirrors and filters on wheels must be turned until the beam finds its way. This clever take on an old chestnut is only five levels long and will leave you craving more, but it's the perfect length for a short coffee break.

Revenge of the Zombees In Revenge of the Zombees, you control an undead swarm of killer bees with the goal of causing as much damage and destruction as possible across five retro-looking levels. Backgammon (DHTML) Thomas Weibel's Backgammon is fun, challenging, rock-steady, and doesn't suffer from its super-simple presentation. It's the classic game of Backgammon against a computer AI right in your browser.

Pusher Robots. The bane of our existence! It's time to get rid of those immobile, block-like things that do nothing but sit there, mocking us with their smug, yellow-eyed looks of supremacy! In the unassuming little puzzle game Pusher, you play a little guy who takes hairstyling tips from The Beatles and has the power to rid the world of robots, one sliding block at a time!

Legend of the Pointy Stick From Mark Arenz and his Ridiculopathy site full of ridiculousness comes this hilarious new adventure with an old-school dungeon flair. The game is light-hearted and pokes fun at some classic games as well as itself. Good fun and a nice change from the usual point-and-click approach to Flash adventure games.

TransDimensional In this platform adventure game that spans multiple dimensions, help the robotic hero complete his quest and return home. Anyone who's played the classic SNES game Earthbound will feel right at home with TransDimensional. There's a certain air of irreverent weirdness about the proceedings that makes TransDimensional feel like something special. At around 20 minutes long, it doesn't require much of a time investment and fans of platformers are bound to have a good time hopping between dimensions.

Mechanipig Heaven is just beyond the city skyline! Or at least that's what the mechanical porker starring in this cute but simple launch game believes. Help our hero to fly out of the city to Pig Paradise by shooting him out of a cannon, causing massive property damage along the way, and purchase various upgrades to get you there faster. That'll do, pig.

Knight Trap Nitrome's latest damsel in distress is actually the one doing the distressing. Jump and run past Princess Nectarine's array of traps and monsters, rescuing villagers and avoiding peril in this cute, tricky arcade platformer. Just ask yourself... is this lady fair's hand in marriage really something you want? After all, it's not like there's going to be room at the loony bin for both of you...

Escape from the Haunted Room As the title suggests, the room you're to escape from is haunted, although it is haunted with a Japanese ghost, which means not jump scares, screams, and buckets of blood, but rather quiet glimpses as you explore each area of the tiny apartment searching for a way out. Escape from the Haunted Room is an atmospheric little escape game with amusing puzzles. It's not very long, but it contains enough chills to be worth the effort. Enjoy trying to escape the room with the good ending.

Hambo Hambo is a physics-based projectile shooter puzzle where you control a bandana-wearing pig with a mission - to rescue his friend Bacon from the enemy! Escargone Older material from SKT Products, known for oddball classics like the Moai games and Mr. Sweets, Escargone brings you 30 levels of one-switch snail platforming. Although it drags a bit in the beginning, the patient player will be rewarded when it hits its stride in later levels.

Penguin Overlords You start off on ice, which is rather natural for penguins, but soon enough you'll be sending your rampaging army into the jungle and beyond. This is a game where turtles are evil. And can hide under the ground sometimes. And also carry military-grade weapons on the backs of their shells. Look, turtles bad, penguins good, alright? You've got to upgrade la resistance manchot if you're going to stand a chance. Say by hacking off the beak and replacing it with a zombie beak.

Four Squared Room Though a little rocky with some pixel hunting, Vitamin Hana serves up a short but sneaky escape game where all you have are four walls, a little furniture, and some cryptic codes to crack if you ever want to find a way out.

Unlock all three doors and soon your brief excursion into three similar rooms will be over.

The Black Forest: <br />Finding Friends The title, Finding Friends, is apt for this short and simple game that packs a satisfying, emotional experience. You start the game wandering around in the darkness, a little black square (with cute little white eyes) against a black background, in a maze with black walls. It's with the help of the friends you find that you'll be able to find your way to the exit of the maze.

Sinbad's Journey Carmel Games' brings a legendary hero to a pit stop in his travels, as Sinbad tries to find a way to repair his boat in this short and silly point-and-click adventure!

Pirates vs. Ninjas Why can't pirates and ninjas get along? Why can't you crazy kids just join hands, or hooks, and sing a little Kumbaya? Why must you alternate through sixty levels of smashing, launching, physics puzzle madness? Your creator ought to be ashamed of you.

Dark Soul You've had this dream before. The endless hallways. The zombies, demons, and who knows what else. But tonight is different. Tonight you know you aren't going to wake up... unless you can make it to the red door. Dark Soul is a first-person horror rail-shooter by Vempire Tales, where the path to freedom is a trip literally through hell. A spooky and gory, albeit somewhat repetitive, good time.

It's Not About The Aliens A fantastic art game with an arresting pixel-based art style, this physics-based platformer follows a rebel searching for their lost love in an alien-infested world. But it's not about the aliens. It's about survival, loneliness, and the sacrifices we make for those we love.

Turning Burning Turning Burning, the third in Zibumi's Tom "Tucker" Crubucker series of games, picks up where the last one left off. Tom has just escaped the room he was trapped in, and confronts the mastermind behind it, a bizarre prince who asks him to rescue his rose, which has been stolen by a sheep...

Shadow Snake 3 And if 2013 is the Year of the Snake, well, then there's absolutely no reason why it can't be the year of the Shadow Snake 3, the new arcade game from Play Panic, also as a free download for iOS and Android. Snake gameplay is as familiar as it is difficult to mess up, but this is a very soothing and fun interpretation.

Ragdoll Parashooter Nostalgia returns in Ragdoll Parashooter, a modern-day version of the classic games like "Sabotage" and "Paratrooper." Control your turret to take out waves of enemy paratroopers, helicopters, and transports. Upgrade your weapons and survive across six levels, playing minigames and earning achievements along the way.

Oozy and the Tower of Wulu Oozy and the Tower of Wulu is a new action adventure and puzzle game from Oddity Games. Oozy is a cute lil' alien mollusk. Oozy has a dream. Oozy wants to slime the whole world. To do this, Oozy needs a magical shard; one currently held at the top floor of the Tower of Wulu. All Oozy needs to do is climb through fifty levels of a top-down maze, sliming baddies, exploding ooze, collecting lime jellies, and battling bosses all the while. Won't you help poor Oozy to realize his vision?

Escape From The Very Bad Planet Strap into your ship and prepare to Escape From The Very Bad Planet in Fried Pixel Games' new action avoidance side-scroller. It looks like a shoot-em-up, but approaching it with the goal of flying as far as you can in mind, rather than blasting everything in sight, players will find quite the fast-paced and challenging bit of arcade fun.

Soul Redeemer First impressions count for a lot. In the case of Soul Redeemer, the new top down zombie action shooter by the Bekho Team, it introduces itself with a plot-explaining narration that cracked me up, though I don't think it was supposed to. Still, whenever a game starts by expounding on how, every couple centuries or so, the alignment of constellations somehow release demonic forces to eat our souls, and the only thing standing in their way is a warrior dude in asymmetrical armor shooting stuff... I'm going to stay around. And I'm glad I did! While Soul Redeemer is not the most original of games, it has a charm to it that fans of the genre should enjoy.

Threes: The Demake Threes: The Demake is a clever simplification of Asher Vollmer and Greg Wohlwend's iOS puzzle game Threes!. Created by Benjamin Davis, this demake contains the basic tile sliding/combining mechanics found in its big brother. The board is filled with white, red and blue tiles. Tapping the [arrow] keys lets you slide everything in that direction, smashing red/blue tiles and identical white tiles together to increase their face value, marked by darker blocks at the top. Bloopers Bloopers is a short physics game of destruction similar to Crush the Castle, Angry Birds, and countless other browser-based diversions of a similar type. Here, you play the role of little black blobs who own a really great cannon. One day, one of the blobs sees a lightbulb. He goes insane with rage, immediately smashing the bulb's delicate glass exterior. Only when the light has been extinguished is the blob happy, and thus they set out across the land, using physics to destroy lightbulbs that plague their very existence!

Golden Dragon Mystery Who's up for a taste of the Orient? No, not a Yum-Cha banquet as much as I'd like to be able to take us all out for. Rather, a nice little point and click entree from Abroy> games, a delightfully seasoned escape game without the MSG. Golden Dragon Mystery is a pleasurable break from routine, as sweet as ordering Chinese take-out on the weekend.

Crazy Over Goo Crazy Over Goo is a physics-based projectile platformer that puts you in the gooey guise of a spheroid on a quest to find his pink-bowed friend. Use the mouse to aim your trajectory and try to reach each level's flag in as few jumps as possible. Contend with mid-air leaps, variable environments, gravity, spikes, and many other platform game elements.

Death Nine This unassuming escape-the-room game by Kiteretsu might have a scary sounding name, but there is nothing horrific about the puzzles you'll find inside this ordinary four-walled apartment. As per the requisites for this genre, you are trapped inside a room, no notes or friendly invitations brought you here. You are only here. Now you must piece together the clues to break the codes and find your way to freedom.

Submolok Nitrome goes underwater in this exploration-based action game as you control an alien looking for parts to fix its satellite. The twist? You're piloting a submersible with a very unique control scheme, and with upgrades scattered about the ocean to discover, the end result is a fiddly but creative game that needs patient and a delicate touch to appreciate.

Escape from the Pool Bar This escape game from Jan's Room is the kind of place where you'd want to hang out with your friends. While here, search through the Pool Bar for clues, enter codes, and even uncover the top secret VIP lounge. Pixel hunting detracts from the experience in a couple instances but not enough to ruin the fun. A pleasing number of puzzles, with just the right bit of challenge, makes being here enjoyable even while escaping feels well-earned.

Perdition Caught between two voices that hate each other and might not have your best interests at heart, you play a conscious android girl struggling through an oppressive and disturbing world in this atmospheric platforming adventure.

Escape from the Daily Room 3D If you're into that red/pink/white color palette (as Strawberry Cafe obviously is) and enjoy solving your way out of locked rooms, then this can be a delightful way to waste a few minutes. A light, frothy delight perfect to counterbalance the mid-week blahs and the increasing summer heat. The whipped cream with a cherry on top of room escapes, if you will. Enjoy the refreshing treat.

Tales of the Adventure Company Tales of the Adventure Company is a casual RPG that works like a puzzle game. The tile-tapping exploration mechanic will be instantly familiar to anyone who's played Dungelot (or had an advent calendar), while the enemy grid formations will feel similar to the animal rescuing sections of Disco Zoo. Put it all together with quick combat sessions and a little bit of party-based strategy and you've got your next roguelike obsession!
