Four Squared Room

Four Squared Room is a pretty accurate title for this little escape game from Vitamin Hana, where you find yourself locked in a room labeled with the compass directions, "decorated" with some furniture, and not a whole lot else... aside from some puzzle locks, that is! Click around to explore, though there's no changing cursor so you'll need to figure out what's interactive and what isn't by some old fashioned investigative clickery. Unfortunately, some hotspots can be very fiddly, and a lack of feedback and initially very few clues may have you spinning in (very small) circles trying to figure out what to do. It's a little frustrating since the game is otherwise perfectly pleasant, with puzzles that are smart enough that the game doesn't need to rely on clumsy click trickery. (If you're colour-blind, you may wish to be forewarned that this game does feature a colour puzzle.) Just remember to scour every surface and keep your thinking cap on straight, and you'll be out in time for tea.

There's one particularly difficult step in this escape game that seems much harder than the rest of it so I thought I'd share it here in case it also trips you up early on as it did me.

Pay extra attention to the left hand drawer in the eastern quadrant of the room after you open it.

Once that drawer is open, click underneath it to look at its bottom for a crucial clue.

Thanks, Kheldar, that really is fiddly. Almost out, but I seem to be stuck on the

broken wires. I have the tape, but do they need to be taped in a particular order before something will happen? Or only certain wires? Apart from the earlier color puzzle, I haven't found any clues that would seem to apply.

Thanks a lot Kheldar that was the hardest clue for me.

Apply the logic for my first hints in another, very close by location. :)

Wow, thanks, I had tried that already and still not clicked in just the right spot. Those hotspots are ridiculously unforgiving.

Only Neutral is allowed to hide things on the undersides of drawers.

Gah! Thanks for the hint re: looking under things. Guess what?

The hint for the wires is hidden UNDER the other drawer!

Ugh. The link isn't actually clickable. Ah well. Search YouTube for 'Four Squared Room', and you'll find it.

Wow, the wire puzzle is almost the exact same puzzle as Afro Ninja Car Escape.

yes but I need a text walkthrough.
