Be Alien

KimberlyIn a different twist on the old human being abducted by aliens motif, you play a resilient little green alien who's been stolen away from its home planet by bigger and meaner green extra-terrestrials in Be Alien, a cute and simple point-and-click game from Be Gamer and Functu. You've got to use your head (sometimes literally since you don't seem to have hands. Or arms, for that matter) to escape the enemy ship.

Just point-and-click your way around the screen, though the game doesn't hold your hand like some of the Be Gamer games of the past have done. It won't show you where to click, and the cursor doesn't change, but with the slick, clean artwork, it won't take you long to figure out what you can interact with, and don't forget you can also click on the alien to see if it can perform an action. There are no real puzzles, so you just have to click things in the correct order to make a safe path so our alien hero can move on to the next level. While short and on the easy side, Be Alien is the perfect stylish little game to zone out to when your brain needs a break.

These types of baby games really have no place here...garbage.

Most BeGamer games are simple point-and-clicks, and I love most of their games, but this is going a little too simple. Yeah, they don't tell you where to click, which is a good thing, but it doesn't seem as creative as the other ones. Many of the puzzles in the beginning

simply required bashing something with your head

and didn't have a solution as creative as many games by BeGamer. I like that you have a BG game here, but couldn't you have picked a better one?

There was almost no logic to any of the scenes. It is literally just keep clicking on different random things until your character leaves the screen.

Doesn't this guy remind anyone else of Jetx from 2000-2005??

I like this, but I like Alchemist more. 3/5 here.

I'm glad to see a game that younger ones can play at Jayisgames- that was my first thought until using common sense was not, but should have been the first, ha ha. I got taken in, carried away by how cute the game is, and well, it took me longer than I'd first anticipated, making mistakes along the way- the way a good puzzle game ought to be. Sweet game, in my opinion, a nice take on this type in general -perhaps -making it attractive for all ages to play.
