A version of the original Prince of Persia game recreated in Flash. The original game, created by Jordan Mechner and released in 1989, used an animation technique called rotoscope to give the characters human-like qualities. It was also a lot of fun to play. This special Flash edition isn't quite the whole experience, but you should be able to at least get a taste of what the original was like.

For those who love GUMP's planetary room escape exploration, Jupiter is a welcome addition to the set, much more challenging than the ones that came before, and even more unsettling as the player is drawn even further into this odd, sterile, mechanical house.

PicTune is an experimental sound-based puzzle game by IcyLime based around a unique mesh of sight and sound. In each level, you will be given series of tones that represent a picture on a pixelated grid. It makes your feel that you using a part of your brain not often tapped, and though there are some frustrations getting used to the mechanics, the game has an addictive quality that cannot be denied.

An after-school project traps five students in a nightmare wrapped up in an urban legend that turns out to be all too real in this free indie horror game. Will they be able to unravel the mystery and lay a spirit to rest? Or will they drown in blood in a bathroom stall? Maybe! A complete rebuild of the classic Japanese horror game released in English.

If The Incredible Machine met the classic board game Mouse Trap, TubeTwist would be the result. He may be best known for his Neko series of games (neko means "cat" in Japanese), though he has also created some of the best Panzo games as well. His latest effort is this beautiful and delightful game that will give your brain some stimulation as you play.

Then again, it's about a snail with absolutely no Darwinian sense relying on your need for a high score. Normality doesn't operate here.

Expendable robot Nuts and his fairly useless robot dog Bolts have been picked to test a construction system in this path-drawing puzzle game. Rearrange beams to get to the exit, but you can only hold one beam at a time. A clean isometric interface and levels that unlock two at a time keep the challenge of this game from getting pull-out-your-sockets difficult.

Escape from the Tatami Room 2 is one of Tesshi-e's more middle of the road efforts. There are some unique puzzles alongside old chestnuts like the wobbly corner picture. Not, perhaps, their most innovative, but still a nice combination of puzzles and construction make Tatami Room 2 an entertaining way to while away a few minutes.

Even if the leaves aren't changing, Ichima's escape is pure satisfying goodness, with an excellent collection of puzzles that require just the right amount of thought and attention to detail, while holding a few surprises, too.

Hottategoya puts you in the middle of a maze and asks that you not only find your way through it to the exit, you must make sense of your comings-and-goings and open three locked safes before you can leave. Thus, navigating the layout more a challenge than the puzzles themselves. Yet the concrete feeling of success when you reach the end makes this escape-the-room game rather amazing (it had to be said!)

If TomaTea designed more playroom, most of us probably would have gotten into less trouble as kids... especially because if you want to escape from this cute and clever room of puzzles, you'll need to be smart and observant, and babies are... well... babies.

TomaTea takes an artsy approach to this very blue escape game, with a whole host of locked doors, puzzle pieces, and some seriously tricky clues. You'll need to pay close attention to your surroundings if you want to find a way out!

Created for the Ludum Dare 23 Jam, this charming puzzle platformer puts you in the role of Soldier Hinds as he attempts to escape the clutches of the evil Zordak on the small prison of Planet 161. It isn't just a great game for something created in under 48 hours. It's a great game full stop. Using three very different types of guns that allow you to manipulate your environment in different ways, Planet 161 dishes out cramped levels that unfold in complexity, offering up a few pretty compelling exercises for the gray matter while not suffering from being overly difficult.

At this given moment, there are literally dozens of ninjas hiding in the room with you! Playing this point-and-click puzzle game by Pencil Kids might help you learn to spot them, as well as open one very mysterious box...

Once again a familiar door in a brick wall appears as Tesshi-e goes back and re-imagines an early escape in the fabulous Mild Escape series. Though short and a little easy for what you might expect, it's a sweet little diversion. Don't forget your happy coin!

Enter the Rental House and note the viridian green walls. This Japanese-made adventure offers a quality game play experience packed with puzzles that will force you to think logically. It is a straight forward game of its genre with only a couple of minor pixel hunts involved. Easy enough to complete on ones own, and yet challenging to give you about an hour's worth of fun.

A new-agey, color-based puzzle game reminiscent of Auditorium, Subtle Energy succeeds in being a pretty relaxing puzzler. The soundtrack is inoffensive aural Xanax, and it is always soothing to watch colored pixel streams flow about the screen. The puzzles themselves are few, and while most are not too difficult, you will likely find that some make you stop and think.

You're probably familiar with level editors, where you can take all the time you want to make the perfect level of your favorite game. Here you'll have to put those skills to good use in a puzzle platformer with a twist. With a further 35 levels, people who've cut their teeth on the first game should be ready to ace this one, and those who passed over the first as too easy might want to give this one a go.
