Qoosh Qoosh, like many protagonists before him (she? it?), is a lab experiment being guided through a series of tests by a narrator who seems less into actual science and more his own sadistic amusement. Fractured How do you make a unique puzzle platformer? By breaking it! At least, that's what it looks like happened when you play this clever game. Your goal is to reunite the little boy with the probably-not-going-to-steal-his-soul pink ghost, but each level has been shattered and strewn about, so figuring out how to navigate your way through piece by piece is a trick for your hands and your eyes.

Sparkman: Stop World There's a new robot on the gaming scene! Help Sparkman navigate to the exit portal in this clever puzzle platformer. Use Sparkman's special ability to stop the screen from scrolling allowing you to maneuver through the sides of the screen to reach areas that you wouldn't be able to get to otherwise. Beware hazards and collect discs to get a perfect score in this creative twist of the platforming genre.

Vex Unlike many similar platformers, Vex's goal isn't to frustrate the player. Checkpoints are liberally scattered throughout the levels, typically ensuring that you won't have to repeat tasks if you die. With a little patience and focus, anyone can get through Vex... and once they do, it's off to the Level Editor to see if you can throw together a stage to stump the world!

Wilt: Last Blossom A lovingly detailed homage to classic platforming adventures, this retro-styled Metroidvania game takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where your only reason for living is suddenly abducted from you by a mysterious stranger. While it could use some more to do, it's a beautifully made title fans of classic gaming will enjoy.

F.O.L.D. - Fantastic Olfactory Latrine Discoverer With a name like F.O.L.D. - Fantastic Olfactory Latrine Discoverer, you know something interesting has to be going on. This puzzle platform game by Cosine relies on just two mechanics to fuel its levels: picking up blocks, and folding the screen. By combining those in some seriously head-splitting ways, you get to figure out how to get from one side of the screen to the other, all in the name of making it to a single pristine bathroom fixture!

Potatoman Seeks the Troof Potatoman is looking for something. What that is he isn't entirely sure, but he'll know it when he finds it. But one thing is certain: every living thing he encounters seems to have an opinion. Also, they're trying to kill him. Potatoman Seeks the Troof is a short "potatosophical" action adventure game from the retro masters at Pixeljam. Trot and hop your way across several landscapes as you take in the wisdom from the animals, avoiding things like bouncing/growing cacti, flying bird eggs, and a host of more creative obstacles. If you're lucky, you might even learn something along the way!

Knytt Underground It's been a few years, but the Knytt series has finally returned! Knytt Underground pulls in design elements from several of Nifflas' other games, including Within a Deep Forest, NightSky, and Saira, and creates a beautifully atmospheric game of exploration. Street Fighter X Mega Man Street Fighter X Mega Man is exactly the game you'd expect it to be: Street Fighter mixed with Mega Man. A free release created by Seow Zong Hui with support from Capcom, this love letter to both franchises stays true to the source material while shuffling things around enough to make it something new. Expect a nice and challenging experience, complete with a new chiptune soundtrack and plenty of inside references for fans of each series.

SkullFace If lil' SkullFace is going to make it through the Greg Sergeant-developed action platform game that bears his name, he's going to have to run, jump and duck like a mad-skull, since spikes, enemies and magic portals abound! SkullFace is an engaging, if unforgiving platform with tight controls and that parkour-perfect sense of flow.

Red Rogue Available in action-RPG or classic turn-based flavour, this moody roguelike from Aaron Steed and music maestro Nathan Gallardo is deliberately mysterious. Descend into a dungeon searching for an amulet with your undead minion, figuring everything from the backstory to the deeper gameplay mechanics as you go. Oh, and tearing off the faces of your enemies and wearing them for bonuses and enchantments. Hooray!

CP6 It's been a rough day for CP6, the pixelly titular star of Gametron Studios' new platform game. His game has been deleted, so he needs to travel through the innards of the computer to the land of back-up, and, worse yet, he has no knees for jumping! A tough but fair retro game with interesting art, and gobs of addictiveness to balance out its frustrations.

Avoid jellyfish, collect treasures, and find the Crown of Atlantis in this enjoyable action game. Explore a wonderful undersea world while solving the mysteries of Atlantis!

Vertigo Want a simple game with simple graphics that will twist your head in a dozen different directions? Try Vertigo, a tough puzzle platformer from Ketone Games that utilizes just about every gravity and screen-altering element you can think of to bend your brain out of shape. You're limited to walking and jumping in this minimalist game, and your only goal is to make it to the exclamation mark exit. And how do you get there, seeing as it's glued to the ceiling far higher than you could ever hope to jump? Easy, you just mess with physics and screen scrolling!

A Man's Quest A Man's Quest is an HTML5 action platformer by The Drunk Devs that hearkens to yesteryear, both in terms of its retro graphics and the bouncy spirit of childhood. Help Ty show up his rival Kevin by swiping his place as Chosen One and being the first to make it to the top of Ominous Power. A compressed burst of fun, if one with somewhat loose jump physics.

Doors: Out of Office Doors: Out of Office is a puzzle platformer by Arctic Arcade, where every threshold promises to turn reality upside-down. Help Dave get out of his office's forbidden door of mystery and home for a well-earned weekend. While it could use a better sense of perspective, the game has intelligence and quirkiness to spare.

Lucky Tower 2 Von Wanst has shiny teeth, shiny hair, and an even shinier sword. You'd think that would be enough, but our dim-witted, greedy hero wants even more. What starts as a simple journey to escort the King's friend safely to the castle turns disastrous, but might prove an opportunity for even more adventure and treasure in this silly, quirky, and toothy action-adventure from Exotworking.

Scribblenauts Unlimited Scribblenauts Unlimited is a new and improved release in the Scribblenauts line from 5th Cell Media. Giving you the power to create objects at will, you embark on a quest to bring happiness to the world, helping people in need by granting them objects from your magic notebook. That's all fine and good and such, but the fact of the matter is you can create just about anything you want, so while that pedestrian is in dire need of a glass of water, wouldn't it be so much more fun to give her a gigantic angry flying shark instead?

The Last Dino In a desperate race to hold off the end of his kind a little dinosaur is going to square off against spikes, lasers, and bad guys (oh my!). In this one-button action platform game it's your job to act as the savior of dinosaur kind. With multiple items to collect and a single ability to be used for each level you need to navigate your way to safety and an interesting hidden message at the end of the game.

Flawed Dimension Usually the worst you have to worry about in the forest is walking face-first into a spider-web, or maybe getting some really awesome poison ivy... not getting cursed and transformed into a twisted monstrosity, then melded with your malformed brother and forced to puzzle-platform your way out of the dark woods while beset by bone beasts from all sides. Somehow, I can't help but feel the park rangers have been holding out that little tidbit of information on us.

Home Sheep Home 2: Lost Underground All Shaun wanted was to get out of the pasture... not UNDER it. But he and his two wooly friends, Shirley and Timmy, suddenly find themselves trapped underground and stymied by a series of physics puzzles involving water, explosions, switches, and more. Pid Pid is a unique and heavily atmospheric platform game from Might and Delight, a team of developers who obviously know some secrets about portable stone-based gravity control the rest of us aren't privy to. Set in a hazy otherworld and starring a lost little kid, you'll learn to control small cones of gravity as you work your way through bizarre landscapes. Sometimes Pid feels like A Boy and His Blob, sometimes a stealth game, and sometimes even Portal. But really, Pid is Pid, and it stands strongly enough on its own to be something unique.

Red Ball 4 On a quest to stop some nefarious blocks from turning his friends and the whole world square, Red Ball sets out on a vibrant physics-based platforming adventure that's fun for the whole family, and a prime example of how one developer's continual push for improvement has paid off significantly.

City Siege 4: Alien Siege The adorable warmongery of The Podge's City Siege series of strategy action-shooters has taken a turn for the extraterrestrial in City Siege 4: Alien Siege. It's time once more to blast some martians, rescue hostages from the terror of brain-sucking plants, and to buy the heck out of some wicked cool upgrades. With the feel of its predecessors, but with a streamlined sci-fi bent, City Siege 4 has awesomeness to spare.

About Love, Hate and the other ones As single player teamwork-based puzzle games go, cute is more often than not the way to go. Maybe it's a game about pandas, maybe a droplet of water and a bit of fire, or maybe some geometric shapes who are forced to get along via circumstance but eventually form a touching sort of friendship. All cute! Well, this puzzle platform game from Tobias Bilgeri isn't afraid to call it like it is. Titled About Love, Hate and the other ones, this game has you spreading both love and hate as you order around little critters to help your characters make it to the goal. Be a bully, be the nice guy, you've got to do it all in order to win!

8-bit Halloween Whenever it gets close to Halloween, most of us are ready for a good scare. Zombies tunneling from below the soil, mummies leaping out from behind tombstones. Slenderman staring at us from off in the distance. Lionsoft, creator of the previously featured Sprint - King of the Jungle, knows the feeling well, not to mention a handful of retro games that fit the scary setting just as snugly. And so comes 8-bit Halloween, an arcade platform game that borrows from some of the most popular sidescrolling games of old to create a challenging, holiday appropriate release to get you in the mood.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Inspired by a retro game? Check! Precision platforming tactics? Check! Melt-your-eyes gorgeous visuals? That's a check! It looks like we have another heavy-hitting indie game on our hands! Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams began life as a spiritual sequel to the original Commodore 64 platform game The Great Giana Sisters. What emerged from that Kickstarter project is something cleverly old school, supremely challenging, and more gorgeous than still images could possibly convey. You're going to have a great time yelling at the screen because you died at the same place for the 18th time in a row!

Walkabot BEEP BOOP BEEP. I am a Walkabot. I only follow the commands you give me. If you tell me to walk, I will walk. If you tell me to jump off platforms, I will jump. I require you to program me so I can return to my home. If you do not program me correctly, I will fall to my AAAAAAAAAH BEEP BOOP BEEP (smash) boooop.

Portal 2D Wix Games pays homage to Valve's well-loved Portal 2 in this puzzle platformer that sends you on an epic quest through a mysterious facility in search of your beloved... sandwich. Using the iconic portal gun, manipulate momentum, flip switches, and use your environment to your advantage to overcome seemingly impossible obstacles.

A Wonderland Story A Wonderland Story from Alchemy Games probably isn't what you expect from a colorful, expertly-illustrated mobile game. It may look like a platformer, it may even have the intense reflex requirements of a platformer, but really, it's a game of fast puzzles and quick planning. And it just happens to be set in the strange, strange world of Alice in Wonderland, only this time, Alice is the villain!

Dream Symphony The Maestro has been waxing lyrical for weeks, but no matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to finish his opus. Maybe a little nap will recharge his creative batteries... Dream Symphony is a vertical launch-like action game by Igor Kulakov and George Zarkua, where the higher you bounce, the closer you scale to musical perfection. Excellent sound design and a quirky visual style make for a game that'll be music to your ears.

The Visit It's a beautiful day outside! The sun is shining, the crabs are trundling, and it's time to go visit your girlfriend! Nothing could possibly stand in your way... uh... right? A short and very simple parody platformer with multiple endings that makes fun of the expectations we have for these games.

Salem Anselm, an apprentice demon hunter has been sent by the Divine Order to cleanse the evil that has descended on the city. With naught but a crossbow, a lantern, and a snarky anthropomorphic sidekick, he'll have his work cut out for him. But who else is left to try? Salem is a horror action-platformer by Mar-ble Team, whose ghoulishly gothic atmosphere and twisty plot makes for an early Halloween treat.

Flightless Nitrome serves up this plucky ducky demo of their upcoming puzzle platform adventure that serves to be a solid little experience in its own right. Unable to fly, your fine feathered protagonist (or plural, if playing with friends) needs to use a magical ladder to find his way through a hostile environment filled with gems, monsters, and secrets, where every room is a puzzle... and dangerous!

FranknSplit Someone apparently didn't read up on their Mary Shelley novels. There's not just one green-skinned monster shambling around in the dungeon, there's two! In FranknSplit, you've got to mind two reckless monsters and make them jump just in time to avoid the (re-)death of one, and a shameful "what were you thinking" glare from the other. Ghosted Friendship is ghostly in this clever physics puzzler. Use a series of unique powers to possess physical objects to allow your trio of spectres to make it through each level, nabbing stars along the way. Some awkward click-based platforming and a bit too many elements bog it down somewhat, but yolzii's creative efforts buoy this one into a ghostly good time regardless.

Demon Shift When a low demon on the infernal totem pole trips and accidentally shatters an urn full of souls, he's got to track them all down or risk some pretty serious punishment. What follows it a vibrant, gorgeous, but challenging puzzle platforming title that packs a lot of character into its design.

Adventure Apes and the Mayan Mystery It's adventure time and ape time! Adventure Apes and the Mayan Mystery is a retro-inspired platform adventure from ScaryPotato that shares a few genre points with games like La-Mulana, Cave Story, and many other metroidvania games. As you quest about through the jungle, opening up new areas to explore as you find new tools and power-ups, you'll need to keep an eye out for coins, keys, treasure chests, and relics, all while dispatching common enemies and squaring off against more formidable boss foes. It's all action and adventure, and it's all good fun, from beginning to end!

Probability 0 Probability 0 is a procedurally-generated arcade platform game created by Droqen that's all about working your way down. Most games make it pretty easy to move in that direction, as we tend to think of up as the win direction (just ask any tall person) and down as, well, not-win. With this moody little game, though, you'll have to fight your way to the bottom of the screen, squeezing through blocks, punching holes in the terrain, dealing with evil enemies, and upgrading your abilities at every opportunity you get.

Jack Tube What would you go through for a ton of carrots? Jack Tube, the armless white rabbit from the Begamer game fo the same name, would gladly traverse 13 levels of puzzle platforming madness... with the help of your clicking finger, of course. Although the control scheme and some of the gimmicks in later levels make it clear that Begamer isn't doing a perfect job of disguising its usual point-and-clickery, and it's not exactly a difficult game, this is definitely a clever and interesting departure from the formula-- and if that doesn't grip you, the charming visuals and audio most likely will.

Prince of Balls The princess has been captured! What do you do? Ride off on your majestic steed? Race to the castle in a carriage? Nope, you gotta bounce! Prince of Balls is an interesting platformer where leaping about and collecting all the goodies is the only way to travel. Getting to the end of each level can be tricky, but doing so with the fewest jumps to maximize your score makes this an easily replayable challenge.

Pheus and Mor Pheus and Mor, a boy and his dog. Best friends forever, right? This puzzle platformer puts that to the test, combining stunning, dreamlike levels with ominous foreshadowing for a flawed but engaging experience. Gateways Gateways, an exploration-based platform game from Smudget Cat Games, can be quickly summarized by saying it's like Portal, but in 2D. That's leaving a lot out of the equation, though, as Gateways goes to great lengths to provide a different kind of experience, one more akin to a metroidvania-type game than that other portal-making adventure. You'll realize that as soon as you start to explore the chunky pixel laboratory, smashing the glass domes over monkey's heads and wondering how on Earth you're supposed to climb over the next ledge.

Soul Jar Your life was just a simple one. But this morning, you've found this sparking mechanical creature in your front yard. Is it friendly? Is it hostile? Or, perhaps scariest of all... are you teaching it what to do? A Ludum Dare 24 entry by Paul Greasley, Soul Jar is adventure platformer that tasks you with directing the evolution of a robot companion, for good or for bad. Visually stunning, with a killer premise, Soul Jar is hampered by clunky controls, but demonstrates the creativity the Ludum Dare format can inspire.

Tiny Evolution Adventure They say big things come in small packages, and you're one of the smallest around! But just because you start out on the bottom of the food chain doesn't mean you'll stay there, if you're fast on your feet, and with your teeth! A short, simple, and colourful action avoidance platformer themed around evolution and made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare.

Kodachrome A simple errand takes a turn for the surreal when our hero, forced away from the video game console and out of the house, stumbles down a hole into the middle of the earth where he is, of course, tasked with tracking down magical gems. The same thing happened to me the other day. A little bit retro, mixed with a healthy dose of metroidvania and high-difficulty platforming, and Kodachrome is a weird but appealing little challenge.

Georganism 2 It seems like just yesterday that the Georganisms collected all their weapons and fended off the attack to their fair isles. But there is no rest for the weary jelly blobs quite yet! The local volcano has erupted, and those colorful critters will once again have to literally pool (or at least smoosh) their talents to unsubmerge in Georganism 2 a puzzle platformer by Karma Team. Georganism 2 builds on the strengths of its predecessor, displaying puzzles that fans of the original should find challenging, but not so difficult that new players cannot jump right in.

Alone in the Light Shards of light fall from the sky over a cold, lonely, frozen land, and it's up to you to reunite them... or remain alone yourself. A melancholy but absolutely gorgeous bit of platforming exploration married heavily to interactive art, the game is simple and straightforward but well worth experiencing to take in the creative talents of the team behind it.

Project: Mayhem Poor, helpless little... what are those again? Squished hippopotamus faces? Circle-blobs? Yeah, those. Poor helpless those. Actually, at least one of those circle-blobs has a name: Mayhem. And as you play this little genetically engineered experiment in OneSmartBunny's action/platform game Project: Mayhem, you'll begin to pity these critters more and more. But then you'll realize how tough this game is and start focusing on what really matters: landing jumps that require almost pixel-perfect execution, all without slowing down to see what you're doing. Good luck with that!

Calamari Take two unruly squids with a passion for shooting eggs, lightly fry in a randomly-generated deathtrap of chains of blocks, serve with cocktail sauce, and repeat. Nitrome's Calamari is a fast-paced platform shooter where a chopping block is the least of your little squidly worries. Grab a friend and see how many coins you can snag before you're placed on the appetizer menu.

Pina Pony Call it base sentimentality, but sometime what we need is a pinata racing through a magical candy kingdom, collecting gummi bears and dodging sugar-hungry bat-wielding toddlers. Gameshot apparently has recognized this Jungian urge and delivers with Pina Pony, a retro jump and run platformer. Like a bag of Skittles, Pina Pony may not fill you up, but it's fun and colorful, and definitely a sweet snack.

Quietus 2 In the sequel to the original high-difficulty platformer, you've squandered your second chance at life, and your miserly existence has earned you yet another boot back down below. But the Reaper's not quite ready to give up on you, and if you can escort an innocent soul safely out of the infernal depths, you'll earn your place in heaven. Jumping Line It's hard to be 2D in a 3D world, which you'll soon find out if you play this austere little platformer from Henning Steinbock. But don't let the minimalist atmosphere lull you into a false sense of security, because you'll need to do all your best wrist exercises from that mandatory carpal tunnel workshop your boss made you attend last spring if you're going to be limber enough to keep this line on track to ultimate victory. Jumping Line is a great example of a simple idea done well that will appeal to all the oldschool gamers out there who don't need a lot of bells and whistles to have a good time and break a satisfying gamer sweat.

Bitless Bitless by Nicholas Rapp is like Space is Key meeting up with a platformer. It's a tough but funny, unforgiving but strangely compelling arcade game you play simply by tapping the screen. You'll be mocked by the narrator, you'll be tricked into messing up, and you'll die more times than you'll admit, but you'll keep playing simply because you can. And because you must. Getting hooked on Bitless is almost like acing an exam just because your friends said you couldn't do it. That'll teach them to spout mildly non-supportive jargon at us!

Handheld Video Game Trapped inside a classic Gameboy, help an anonymous little 8-bit character to escape his world in this retro platform game from Folmer Kelly. Or don't, and take him through an endless gauntlet of spikes and platforms. It's short but worth the 5 minutes it takes to beat.

Bread Duck The star of Kyle Rodgers' Bread Duck is a duck that's a loaf of bread. Who rescues kitties. Do you really need anything else, internet? Well, if you do, it's a fun little retro puzzle platformer, whose chirpy chiptune soundtrack and off-kilter humor will keep you playing.

You Are Still a Box Months after discovering You Are a Box, Games Northwest is happy to report that You Are Still a Box. And you've got some work to do. The remarkably brain cell deficient Nabbles need to get to the exit, but since their only ability is walking and turning around when they hit a wall, you've got to help them avoid stepping into traps. As a box, you're just the moderately-animate object to do it, though you're going to need a little help along the way.

Mega Man: <br />Day in the Limelight 2 In the year 20XX, Dr. Wily has been defeated by Mega Man (again). He escaped capture and life returned to normal, his eight robot masters returning to storage until the day their circuits may be modified to aid society. As it turns out, that day is today! Dr. Wily wasted no time attacking once again, unleashing a super virus that has disrupted Mega Man's systems and turned computers across the globe into enemies of humanity. With no other options at his disposal, Dr. Light releases the eight robot masters, hoping their virus-free circuits can defeat Wily once and for all. So begins Mega Man: Day in the Limelight 2 by Fusion Team, a retro platforming action adventure that's sure to bring a twinkle to the eye of any child of the 8-bit generation.

RectRot How can you play a platformer without jumping? Why, by using force to blast yourself back and for across the screen and precisely plotting your square-by-square course, naturally! Jan Rigerl's deceptively simple little title blends clever mechanics with challenging puzzling for fans of logic, planning, and lasers!

100% Complete A game you can beat in five seconds? That's not a coffee break game, that's a thinking about taking a coffee break game. Fortunately, Nolan Labs' action/exploration game 100% Complete features more than just a few seconds of gameplay, though if you want to get technical, you can reach the end simply by heading right and using the door. If you want to actually accomplish something before winning, though, you'll need to get to exploring. Yay!

ASCIIvania We all love metroidvanias! But would we still love them if, instead of controlling a scifi bounty hunter, or a badass vampire slayer, we played as the alphabet? Answer: Yes! And ASCIIvania, an exploration platformer by Gharding3, is the proof! ASCIIvania is clearer documentation, a map screen and a mute button away from excellence, but its still a fun time.

Flood Runner 4 Carnivorous plants. Lava. Rising tides. Fire. A Tyrannosaurus Rex. You know... maybe this cave wasn't such a great place to hang out after all? Run for as long as you can to stay one step ahead of certain doom, earning achievements and upgrades along the way, in this latest installment in the popular arcade action series.

Super Adventure Pals When your beloved pet rock is stolen by the jealous Mr B and you prove no match for his hat tricks and mighty fisticuffs, you have no choice but to saddle up your trusty giraffe and set out on an adventure! A platforming action adventure packed with charm, silliness, and a gorgeous design

A Void for Machinery Forget a heart. This little robot is looking for something a lot more depressing, but considering the hostile landscape he's stuck in in this short puzzle platformer, it's not really surprising. Simple gameplay and gorgeous style combine to make a familiar but beautiful experience about robots and the saws that tear them to robot pieces. Aw.

2-Bit Bub Bub is dead, but like any good dog, he's not letting that keep him down. In this free iOS advergame for the upcoming ParaNorman movie, you control the ghostly pooch as he jumps, chomps, and swings his way through levels trying to retrieve the zombie bones he's lost so that their owners don't come looking for them when the sun goes down. Simple and straightforward but absolutely gorgeous, 2-Bit Bub is a ghoulishly good time.

MANOS - The Hands of Fate Based on the B-movie of the same name, the one famously riffed by the Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew so many glorious years ago, MANOS - The Hands of Fate is a retro-styled platform game from FreakZone that may very well be as punishing as the film itself. In a different sort of way. Armed with a few guns and an impending sense of "doom", work your way through the game's enemy-infested levels in an attempt to best your own speedruns. The Master would be pleased if you got a high score.

Blackwood Prologue Costis doesn't remember how he got here. He doesn't know why the world keeps changing around him. And he certainly doesn't know the man in black who seems to be following him. But every little boy knows when it is time to explore, and so he will. For better or worse... Blackwood prologue is a platforming piece of interactive art by Blake Mann, that takes you inside the mind of a kid who just might find his future in his dreams. Marvelously atmospheric, even evocative, the dream logic nature of the game means, inevitably, more questions will be raised than answered. But as the title says, it's just the prologue...

Portal Quest Taking its cues from Portal 1 and 2, as well as Portal: The Flash Version, Portal Quest puts you back in the testing lab with a portal gun and little else to aid your escape. There's no GLaDOS, but there is a fun puzzle game set at just the right difficulty. And plenty of science.

I Wanna Be The Guy: Gaiden I Wanna Be The Guy was a small indie platform game released way back in 2007, and if you're wondering what took it so long to get a sequel, you obviously never played the original. A quick refresher: you could be killed by falling apples. You could be killed by apples that fall upwards. If you avoided the apples, a cloud could drop out of the background... and kill you. And that would be how you got past one screen. The sequel ups the insanity and makes you wonder if you really do want to be the guy.

J-J-Jump The second entry into Nitrome's experimental 50x50 pixel game series is J-J-Jump, a fast-paced platformer with a subtle kiss of puzzle goodness. You've got to scramble up a tower of obstacles to escape the rising flood waters, but you're only allowed to jump five times! You can pick up extra jumps along the way, but can you ration your jumps quickly enough to make it out alive?

Fat Slice 2 I like pie. Do you like pie too? You should try Fat Slice 2, an action puzzler where you've got to make a few nice slices to chop the field down in size. Avoid the white balls and steer clear of the impassible white edges, and make sure you tuck your napkin in before you start. Things can get a bit messy when you're slicing a giant octopus-shaped pie.

Gunman Clive Your frontier lass is being kidnapped! Get your revolver and head out the door! Gunman Clive is a sidescrolling action/shooting game by Bertil Hörberg, starring you versus a bunch of bad guys. Utilizing some fantastic 3D visuals in a two dimensional world, you will have the pleasure of shooting your way through the strangest old west town you've ever seen, complete with moving platforms and loads of enemies. Oh, and watch out for ducks, those things can be deadly!

La-Mulana Back in 2005, Takumi Naramura released a retro-styled exploration game called La-Mulana. Starring an archaeologist professor named Lemeza, it introduced modern players to an aesthetic not seen since the days of the MSX home computer, bringing with it all the convoluted puzzles, items, and high level of difficulty retro gamers love. Fast forward to 2012 for the worldwide release of a graphically enhanced update to La-Mulana that carefully reworks the look and feel of the old game to spruce it up for a new audience. Nigoro has done a fantastic job with the new La-Mulana, and the translation to the slightly-less-retro modern version is almost flawless!

Disillusion Created in 72 hours for a recent game jam, Disillusion by True Valhalla is a short, somewhat abstract platform adventure that focuses heavily on atmosphere and exploration. You begin with a sword and a vague goal in the back of your mind: go to the end of the world and find the Holy Artifact. If you don't, your people won't survive. Sounds like motivation to us! You quickly head out into the hazy world, ready to tread down branching non-linear paths, defeat enemies both small and gargantuan, and pull off some tricky jumps with the greatest of ease.

Perspective You don't remember your master getting so old But today is a special day, and you have special plans together. Like she's always said: to achieve the impossible, all you need is a change of Perspective. An artistic puzzle platformer by NFyre, Perspective has an undercurrent of sweet melancholy in its text that helps to make up for slippery controls.

Lee-Lee's Quest 2 The original Lee Lee's Quest left players with a lot of unanswered. Will platforming hero guy Lee Lee ever make peace with his cubey neighbors? Will Marcus Richert ever run out snarky fourth-wall breaking dialogue? Answer: APPARENTLY NOT. Just as hilarious as the first installment, Lee Lee's Quest 2 is the laugh-out loud sequel every fan could have wanted.

Super Big Gun Adventure You are a pariah of the Gentlemen's Council, who became jealous of the length of your gun, which doubles as a sort of jetpack, immediately after giving you said weapon. Make your way through their headquarters, past lava, spikes, and enemies with much smaller guns in this physics based platform shooter game.

Run Right The jetpack-wearing weapon-wielding dinosaur star of jmtb02 and Jimp's new jump and run and gun action platformer knows that when an apocalypse happens in the world of casual gaming, it's usually a good idea to Run Right. Frenetic fun with a lot of puny humans to squish, Run Right is a charmingly unique spin on the Canabalt-styled concept.

Trophiends Everything is better with friends! Especially the constant threat of explosive death! In this challenging, puzzling platformer, guide a bunch of buddies who all move simultaneously through cleverly designed death trap stages, past exploding crates, spikes, platforms, and more. Your goal? Sweet, sweet pixelly trophy glory. You'll need to be light on your feet (fingers?) and put your thinking cap on for this one.

Nihilumbra Born is a mindless creature of the Void. At least, that's how it was supposed to be. When Born dares to escape into a world that seems to have no place for it, however, you'll need to utilize all the puzzle platforming abilities at your disposal and learn to master colour in order to find Born a place to belong and help it escape from the Void once and for all. A challenging but evocative platforming adventure that's heavy on narrative and atmosphere for your iOS.

Jump Face It seems that an ANSI face has gotten a second shot at the big time in Ozzie Mercados Jump Face, a one button puzzle platformer.Jump Face is a delightful skewing of common platform game mechanics, and indeed, it's certain that its unusual character gravity and momentum will frustrate some at first. Those who survive the initial rage-quitting impulse, though, will find a charming little game with some interesting puzzles.

BasketBelle Michael Molinari uses basketball and surreal, dreamlike imagery to explore love and family in this stunning indie title. Go one on one against nightmare creatures in your quest to find your sister, or solve platform puzzles in strange dimensions. It's a swanky, gorgeous, strange journey that overcomes somewhat clunky controls to deliver a beautiful and unique experience you don't have to love sports to enjoy.

Glean A little robot is lost and alone in the galaxy after being crippled by a radiation wave... but hope isn't lost yet. Travel to a series of remote planets and dig for valuable resources in this mining game, searching for everything you need to finally find a way back home. Fans of Motherload will find a lot to appreciate here, with a gorgeous presentation and a few new elements dressing up the familiar gameplay.
