Wonder City It's all about female power in the superheroine visual novel, Wonder City. Play as the high school student, Ada, as she discovers her superpowers. Make decisions in how the story will unfold and what her path to heroism is. Will she be a confronter, taking direct action against evil, or is she more about subtlety, working from the shadows? Watch the story unfold (with mentions of people from women's history) as Ada takes a stand to prevent a villian's corrupt empire.

Gnomeland Security Gnomes, gnomes everywhere! Popping out of the ground, asking you to plant mushrooms around them. Why? Because they can. Don't mess with gnomes. Anyway, the numbers on their hats tell you how many mushrooms you're supposed to plant, and mushrooms send out rays of light, so you can't plant one on another's light path. With two gameplay modes, three difficulties and a number of board sizes, Gnomeland Security is a puzzly bundle of fun.

Mushbits 2 You thought they'd had their fill of cupcakes, but Z3lf's blue and purple bunnies are back for more puzzling goodness in Mushbits 2. If you enjoy wracking your brain to the tune of cute graphics, get the bunnies their sugar-high in the fewest moves possible to earn your stars toward puzzling greatness.

Dark Dimensions: City of Ash Once again seek out Dark Dimensions, this time a small town destroyed by a volcano (and a father-daughter relationship gone terribly awry), and attempt to heal them in Dark Dimensions: City of Ash. Save the Date! It was just supposed to be a simple dinner date with your friend Felicia. How did things go so horribly, horribly wrong? In this free, morbidly hilarious visual novel, all you're trying to do is have a night out with your best friend (and maybe more?) but it feels like the universe is against you. All you can do is try, try again... and experience the clever twists and mechanics this little gem has to offer.

A Duck Has An Adventure A duck may want many things. A simple life? An education? High adventure? Clearly there are choices to be made, and you're just the one to help! A Duck Has An Adventure is a humorous piece of CYOA interactive art by Daniel Merlin Goodbrey, and while it has more art than gameness, it's a quacking good time.

Wings Over Water Beautiful music, moonlight reflected on the sea and birds gliding on the wind: things that are peaceful and relaxing and sweetly simple. Not your typical arcade avoidance game. Yet this is what Ferry Halim of Orisinal succeeds at best. Use your mouse to control your flight, gathering little blue birds and floating stars while avoidance hazards in this lovely, peaceful excursion that also happens to be a game.

Canoniac Launcher 2 Jimmy's back, stranded on a strange planet, and ready to be a robot cannonball yet again in Canoniac Launcher 2, FunBunGames' sequel to their 2011 action launch title. For better or for worse, it's closer to a standard launch game than the original, but fortunately, improved gameplay is part of that package. If you enjoyed the original or you just like launchers in general, you might want to check this one out.

Heavy Room In order to escape, you'll need to find your way through four rooms, observing signs and clues, solving puzzles and deciphering codes. Despite the title, though, this is not a heavy undertaking. Simple, quick and perfectly logical, Heavy Room by Triple Rock is just the right balance of ease and fun for a mini game escape anytime you need one.

DeGrade Tired of shooters where the experienced players get all the cool weapon upgrades and you get stuck with a lousy squirt gun? In DeGrade, that formula gets flipped on its head because the further you get in each world, the more weapons you lose! This arena shooter tests an interesting game theory-ish idea where progress forces you to play more skillfully later on, although there's a flaw that allows the game to be accidentally far easier.

Escape from the Strange Forest Hottagoya's triplex style of puzzle presentation is elevated to a new level in this refreshing escape game. You're not so much trapped inside as hovering above a labyrinth forest of evergreens. With some wandering about, you'll eventually find a box containing your first clue: a map of sorts. Follow it to the next clue until you can find the exit door and decipher the secret code to escape.

Unholy Flesh A dark chamber, a missing memory, and a splitting headache... to get to the truth and find your way out, you'll have to encounter some uncomfortable truths as you solve puzzles and explore in this atmospheric horror text adventure.

Chick Hide and Seek 6 Belonging in the very easy but very cute category, ten little balls of yellow are hiding in this room and need to be found before you can solve the door lock code and escape. Some are in plain sight, others need help out of a sticky situation and some need to be uncovered. Click around the room, use objects creatively, solve a couple puzzles and you'll be out in a peep.

Planet Punch When you wish upon a star, typically you don't think of that star as being a surly, violence-loving mass of energy with planets for fists looking to pummel the ever-loving crap out of everything in its path. But fortunately for us, Matt Thorson and Alec Holowka DID think of it, and it's pretty darned entertaining.

Eyes - The Horror Game It sounded like a simple heist... get into the old abandoned house, steal anything of value, and get out. But you're not alone in the dark, and something is very unhappy you've intruded. Explore an eerie house full of randomly generated treasure, grab what you need, and get out before you're caught, making use of ghostly eyes to see through the sight of the thing hunting you.

Live Puzzle Live Puzzle is a jigsaw game by Pipkin Games that presents players with a fun set of animated pictures to reconstruct, with subjects ranging from fish, to spirals, to planets, to cards. The animation is clearly a gimmick, but a cool one, and the developers definitely put thought into how different puzzles would be solved in different and interesting ways.

Empress of the Deep 3: Legacy of the Phoenix A century ago, Anna, the Empress of the Deep, awoke from her slumber far below the ocean waves to discover she had a powerful and evil twin, Pandora. Once again, the empress's people are in peril and it's up to you, as Anna, to find the pieces needed to unlock the spirit codex and resurrect the Phoenix, stopping the Colossus from destroying all life. Along the way, you'll explore and discover a gorgeous, Myst-like world, encounter a refreshing variation of hidden object scenes and gentle puzzles for a relaxing and serene adventure.

Starseed Pilgrim Starseed Pilgrim is a very, very unusual game. Created by droqen, author of Probability 0, it's best described as an abstract puzzle game with some light musical elements and a touch of sandbox-style gameplay. That doesn't do the experience justice, though, as its real value comes from the sense of exploration and wonder you'll get trying to figure out which seeds grow which blocks and what exactly you're trying to accomplish in this bleak world.

The Naked Alien The Naked Alien is an action platformer by Lucas Paakh that offers players a quirky encounter of the nude kind, as its titular being sets out to map uncharted territory. It's a little by-the-numbers, but The Naked Alien is strangely amusing, and definitely showcases the developers prodigious artistic talents.

Laser Puzzle Laser Puzzle is just what it sounds like: A puzzle with lasers. You've got to redirect the colored beams to the receptors, but instead of freely dropping mirrors around the grid, a series of mirrors and filters on wheels must be turned until the beam finds its way. This clever take on an old chestnut is only five levels long and will leave you craving more, but it's the perfect length for a short coffee break.
