Imagia 2: The Dome Imagia 2 picks up right where Imagia 1 left us, pointing and clicking our way around a mysterious rooftop, gathering clues about just what we're trying to accomplish in the first place. If you were hoping for answers in this sequel from Kayzerfish, I'm afraid we're still in questions without answers mode. You know, like the first season of Lost, only no smoke monster. The observant player, however, should gather enough to seriously pique curiosity and we can only hope subsequent chapters will follow close behind.

New Who Am I? Robamimi rarely disappoints and the New Who Am I? is no exception. A little shorter than usual for Robamimi's work, but nonetheless lots of casual gameplay fun is here to be had. Perfect for a short break, most gamers will find themselves out in ten minutes or less. It's worth playing just for the final puzzle. After all, how many room escape games (spoiler alert!) require you to bribe your way out?

Find the Escape-Men 51: in the Traffic Jam Where do you think you're going in this traffic? It's bumper to bumper for fifty miles! You could sit and complain... or you could hunt down the ten little green men curiously hiding throughout your vehicle. Gifted Trapped in a strange futuristic prison, you'll need to keep your wits about you to find the clues you need to solve the puzzles that keep you trapped. Despite a baffling story wrapped around it, Gotmail provides a solid and entertaining escape game that'll give you a mental workout.

Soom 2013 Although Soom 2013 isn't long at all, particularly compared to Place of Light's earlier works like Loom Dawn and Room Marine, it's good while it lasts. The room and its puzzles are very well designed, and although the lack of any sound can be a little disconcerting, it doesn't really get in the way. As someone born in the year of the snake myself (...er, not this year of the snake, the one 24 years ago), I consider myself qualified to recommend Soom 2013, and I do so eagerly.

Terrace View If you're looking for an escape game that's neither too long or short, nor too easy or hard, this sunny title by Vitamin Hana gets the job done, with some cryptic clues for sneaky coded locks you'll need to use your brain to unlock.

But if it is enlightened humor and heightened amusement that you seek, here is a secret ninja school opportunity made available just for you.

Sneaky House of Mystery Selfdefiant serves up a satisfying and logical escape where you have to find your way out of a house even though it's filled with all the creature comforts, plus some cutting edge electronic entertainment circa the 1980s!

Find the Escape-Men Part 147: <br/>At the Park Part 1 You only wanted to wear your mom's necklace for a little while to show it off, but now you've lost it at the park! Can you find both it and the ten iconic little green men in this cute point-and-click puzzle game from no1game?

R-LO Short but smart, this escape game from no1game focuses on logic as you must find the solutions to various puzzles scattered throughout the room... but will you recognize a hint for what it is when you actually see it?

Chikarou 3 Although many room escape aficionados prefer long, complicated escapes, sometimes there's enjoyment to be found in brevity, especially if it's done correctly. Chikarou 3 is a short yet memorable and logical little escape game, a perfect 5 minute and out exercise in escaping. Come enjoy Monte Cristoing your way out of this amusing little dungeon, hopefully with no need for a long, protracted plan of vengeance once you've made it.

Escape THE GAME What happens when a snobby game critic gets sucked inside his least favorite type of game? Caustic hilarity! Ron hates point-and-click adventures, but he's found himself trapped in one. Thankfully, he's got more than one way out of the mess he's in! You can be a good sport and help Ron beat the game legitimately, if you'd like... or you can help him cheat his way through it! However you decide to help Ron, the results are bound to be hilarious in this humorous (and loving) send-up of classic adventure games.

Aries Escape No. 18 Who needs a big group? When it comes to karaoke, a party of one is all you need... at least, when it comes to escape games, that is! Find a way out of this funky techno room by searching for clues and solving puzzles for one of two endings.

Escape from Blender <br />Art Gallery Although most experienced gamers could blow through this in 10 minutes or less, slow down, take your time. Enjoy the headache-inducing clash of carpeting and wall patterns, contemplate the meaning of the displays, or just gaze at the monkey head and wonder, is that post modern or post-post-modern? Dali or Dada? Stay in the game too long and you will half expect dripping clocks to appear across a landscape. Perfect for casual gameplay, Escape from Blender Art Gallery is a fun break from whatever you are doing. Just remember afterwords, it was only a dream.

Alloy Despite the minor flaws, Alloy is an enjoyable escape featuring a protagonist under the witness protection program who just wants some time away from his robot guardians. The puzzles flow together logically, and the construction bit is just terribly amusing. Take some time, and enjoy the logic of the game and the illogic of the premise. So help the poor guy escape! Just, you know, watch out for the flying robot guards.

Find the Escape-Men Part 121: Appetite for Fall Food You and your friend were enjoying a day at the fall festival when they vanished, and after finding them you discover they've gotten themselves trapped in the bathroom, thus providing you ample teasing opportunity for years to come. Quaint Room Quaint room is a relatively short and easy room escape game, but it is also impressively polished and well-made. The graphics are aesthetically pleasing in a tidy sort of way, and the interface is completely smooth and user-friendly. So, take a break. Relax, step back a few years and enjoy this lovely example of classic Japanese gaming goodness.

Aries Escape No. 19 Your favourite cafe has been renovated into an escape game, but that's not all that's new in Aries Escape's latest... now with an English translation and a changing cursor to help you play, their games are more accessible and user-friendly than ever!

Instead, you're a burglar out for some cash, cracking safes one by one using your puzzle solving skills. Fruit Kitchens No. 25: Melon Green Ready for another beautiful, bright escape from Funkyland? This time if you want to leave this green-y picture of '60s domestic bliss, you'll need to find seven green melons hidden throughout the room, some of which are behind puzzles and locks.

Onamis 4 Onamis seems to be a portmanteau of the French words for "friendly" and "one". As soon as you are trapped inside, you might start to wonder just how friendly people really are. There you are, with no map, no guide, and no inventory. You don't have the ability to turn around or look back. There's not even a clue. Well, except that scrap of paper on the floor. Maybe someone was being friendly, after all.

Tone of Vesper Tone of Vesper is less of an escape from a room and more of an escape to a certain state of mind. Strawberry Cafe has stripped away many of the usual room escape trappings, leaving a game that is more of a point-and-click adventure than an escape. The object, you see, is not to get out of the space, but to explore it and find out what hidden treasures it holds. Specifically, what hidden musical treasures.

Escape from the Garden Escape from the Garden is an amusing, delightful example of the room escape genre. Amusing gameplay that includes logical puzzles that flow easily from one to another, a charming area to explore, and the added bonus of needing to interact with the garden's animal inhabitants to complete your escape. It does, however, contain some Japanese text, but escape aficionados should be able to reason their way through without being able to read any of the cues.

Escape Ancient China Room Escape Ancient China Room is a lovely, well-put together little escape game that depends more on your ability to combine objects than to solve puzzles. In other words, the bulk of the game is finding and using what you've found. It's a little trickier than most escapes featured in Weekday Escape, and yet still makes for a nice break in the middle of the week with its lovely scenery and the calming music.

Luka & Lara: Robo Abduction You wake up aboard an alien spaceship... can you find a way to escape and save yourself AND Lara? A short, easy, and cute point-and-click puzzle adventure when you must figure out the proper things to click on in each scene in order to move forward.

Firefighter Escape Firefighters who let their place of work go up in flames are generally looked down upon, so if you don't want your career to burn out, you'll play this escape game from Pine Studio... also free for iOS and Android!

Heist Here are two creepy treats that will have you playing the role of a thief to avoid death traps in a creepy, abandoned house while seeking out some loot. And you might not get out alive. Cat burglars might have nine lives, but common thieves only get three. Using your mouse navigate through creepy, old houses to find keys, unlock doors, search rooms, and use objects to assist you in your thieving quest.

Dr. Ichie's Room Dr. Ichie's Room is a solid escape game experience from Japan with polished and appealing graphics, logical puzzles and no pixel hunts necessary. Although the game is from Japan, there are English translations included for all descriptions and explanations, making this Weekday Escape a worthy investment of your time.

Aries Escape: Episode No.12 You arrive at your destination: a gorgeous island in the pacific. All you want to do is put on your bikini and dive into the azure blue waters, maybe swim to shore and flirt with the locals. But first you need your bikini, locked in your suitcase. Where is the key? Search your room high and low, solving a string of tricky puzzles in this challenging escape by Libertechno.

Find the Escape-Men 80: Mountain Hut Bad weather overtakes you as you're hiking a snowy mountain, so you escape the elements inside this unassuming mountain hut. Luckily, No 1 Game has picked this exact location for another game of find the escape men. Looking everywhere something tiny and flat could be hidden and solving a few puzzles makes for a fun way to wait out the snow storm.

Find the Escape-Men 78: Heavy Snow When it's THIS cold outside, most of us want to stay indoors, but after a rough work week you're determined to go out and enjoy yourself. Too bad a freak snow storm has you trapped inside with ten little green men...

Island Escape: Funky Parrot Redemption We're not talking rocket science, here. A kicking intro, a handful of goofy puzzles, one of the coolest escapes ever, and you're done. Sometimes, though, it's nice to take a break from cold logic and just have a little fun. Strip down to shorts, put on a funky hat, grab a tasty beverage of your choice, and enjoy the island madness. And the inflatable pig.

Cleopatra's Escape In this escape game from Pine Studio, also free for iOS and Android, the tomb doors are locked, and the skeleton in front of them doesn't seem to be a good sign. You'll have to pay close attention to your surroundings and really think carefully to find a way out and end up better than those bones did!

Hotel Bianco-Bianco Hotel Bianco-Bianco continues the tradition of quality design inherent in Bianco-Bianco's escapes. The eerily empty lobby aside, this looks like an upscale establishment, one you might not mind spending a night in. What follows is not the most difficult escape out there, but one that is clever, logical, and has a nice twist on the old theme of two endings.

Find the Escape-Men Part 158: Sushi Go Round 2 You've decided to try out the new sushi joint in this cute, short escape game from no1game, but before you can leave, you're going to have to find ten little green men... and fill yourself to bursting, too!

My First Valentine's Day What better way to show someone you care this Valentine's Day than by making them a special box of chocolates? But the little girl in this extra cute point-and-click puzzle game from no1game could use some help finding everything she needs on her list!

Another Room Another Room, by Japanese designer Mofuya, is a sweet, semi-short example of classic point-and-click that is executed with near-perfect competence. The game's puzzles are simple but well-crafted; while not wildly creative or different, they nonetheless offer a satisfying variety of problems to tackle. The room's neat, somewhat subdued appearance is pleasing to the eye and makes it simple to navigate the surroundings.

King's Escape You've just been locked in a very fancy place indeed in this strange but inventive game from Pine Studios. To find your way out, you'll need to fiddle with your inventory and make a mess of things as you solve puzzles. Also free for iOS and Android!

Morning Room Neutral serves up a mellow and mini escape to start your day off... there's even breakfast to be had, which may help take the sting out of some disappointingly unintuitive puzzle design!

Escape from the Similar Rooms 4 Hottategoya has mastered the miniescape quite well by giving a threefold of puzzles to solve all wrapped up with stylish presentation. Explore a series of very sameish rooms, climbing the stairs until you reached a locked door, then breaking the code that opens it. Do that three times and you'll be out before you know it. The easier challenges make this game perfect for beginners or for anyone who has a hankering for an escape but only a moment to spare.

Escape From The <br />Underground Space It's not often that you'll find yourself attempting to escape from an industrial hole in the ground. Unless you went in after your model airplane, and now the ladder is too slippery to let you back up, that is. Welcome to Tesshi-e's Escape from the Underground Space, a fun way to spend a coffee break, or just to take 10-15 minutes away from whatever you're doing.

Escape from the Meeting Room While not a complicated life-or-death struggle to escape, Escape from the Meeting Room is perfect for mid-week casual gameplay. Short enough to fit in a lunch break (or even a coffee break), escape from responsibility, escape from the everyday, and most importantly Escape from the Meeting Room!

Find the Escape-Men Part 156: Aquarium This newly opened local aquarium promises that there's a treasure waiting for anyone who can find all ten "green pieces" hidden throughout! Sounds like a job for an escape fan, wouldn't you say?

Button Escape: Chapter Edition Short, sweet, and seasonal, this cute escape game from Tototo Room has you tracking down eleven cleverly hidden buttons to activate the ornaments on a Christmas tree. Hope you like cracking codes!

Escape from the Haunted Room As the title suggests, the room you're to escape from is haunted, although it is haunted with a Japanese ghost, which means not jump scares, screams, and buckets of blood, but rather quiet glimpses as you explore each area of the tiny apartment searching for a way out. Escape from the Haunted Room is an atmospheric little escape game with amusing puzzles. It's not very long, but it contains enough chills to be worth the effort. Enjoy trying to escape the room with the good ending.

Magic Island Escape 3 It's not clear how the scenario of Magic Island Escape 3, an atmospheric escape by Kamikaze Worm, came to be. Whatever the case, you're here now and you need to escape, and to do so you need to activate the magical portal arch by finding and using four colored keys. Got fifteen minutes to kill? Put them to use escaping an island, by all means.

Four Squared Room Though a little rocky with some pixel hunting, Vitamin Hana serves up a short but sneaky escape game where all you have are four walls, a little furniture, and some cryptic codes to crack if you ever want to find a way out.

Escape from the Similar Rooms Hottategoya has three rooms for you to escape from. Within each, the smallest of details are changed but the rest is very...similar. Your goal is to point and click around the scenes, observing the clues and associating them with the proper puzzles. Unlock all three doors and soon your brief excursion into three similar rooms will be over.

Turning Burning Turning Burning, the third in Zibumi's Tom "Tucker" Crubucker series of games, picks up where the last one left off. Tom has just escaped the room he was trapped in, and confronts the mastermind behind it, a bizarre prince who asks him to rescue his rose, which has been stolen by a sheep...

100 Doors of Revenge With a title that practically demands a dramatic pause before the final word, 100 Doors of Revenge is a new single-screen room escape game from Gipnetix Games, creator of 100 Doors 2013 and 100 Escapers. Once again, you find yourself faced with a series of locked doors, and the only logical course of action is to start solving your way forward!

Escape Challenge This multiple level escape stands out because it's not a simple "clear the stage" game with many doors yet few puzzles. Each well-appointed room invites exploration, handling clues with finesse so it is challenging without being frustrating. You finish with a sense of accomplishment, making this a mobile game that is as satisfying to your brain as it is to your eyes.

Fix My Car - Custom Mods FireRabbit is back with another car-themed point-and-click puzzle game! Fix My Car - Custom Mods takes the hidden object / room escape hybrid formula from the original Fix My Car and gives it a shiny new coat of acrylic urethane paint. This time, instead of fixing the old clunker you're replacing the old parts with shiny new ones. If only sprucing up the old rustbox was half as straightforward in real life!

Golden Dragon Mystery Who's up for a taste of the Orient? No, not a Yum-Cha banquet as much as I'd like to be able to take us all out for. Rather, a nice little point and click entree from Abroy> games, a delightfully seasoned escape game without the MSG. Golden Dragon Mystery is a pleasurable break from routine, as sweet as ordering Chinese take-out on the weekend.

Death Nine This unassuming escape-the-room game by Kiteretsu might have a scary sounding name, but there is nothing horrific about the puzzles you'll find inside this ordinary four-walled apartment. As per the requisites for this genre, you are trapped inside a room, no notes or friendly invitations brought you here. You are only here. Now you must piece together the clues to break the codes and find your way to freedom.

Escape from the Pool Bar This escape game from Jan's Room is the kind of place where you'd want to hang out with your friends. While here, search through the Pool Bar for clues, enter codes, and even uncover the top secret VIP lounge. Pixel hunting detracts from the experience in a couple instances but not enough to ruin the fun. A pleasing number of puzzles, with just the right bit of challenge, makes being here enjoyable even while escaping feels well-earned.

Escape from the Daily Room 3D If you're into that red/pink/white color palette (as Strawberry Cafe obviously is) and enjoy solving your way out of locked rooms, then this can be a delightful way to waste a few minutes. A light, frothy delight perfect to counterbalance the mid-week blahs and the increasing summer heat. The whipped cream with a cherry on top of room escapes, if you will. Enjoy the refreshing treat.

Dona Room 2 Dona Room 2 is the second room escape game from Japanese flash designer Noaki Nakashima. The game is every bit as quirky and amusing as the original Dona Room and offers more great point-and-click gameplay. The entire game takes place in your kitchen where a note from your mother says you must find a snack before you can leave. Unfortunately the potato chips and cake are locked away, so you must find items and solve puzzles in order to get to them. The game has a little Japanese text but is completely playable without knowledge of the language.

The Final Spell The Final Spell is a charming and fun point-and-click game of the escape-the-room variety. Its most redeeming quality is its sense of humor, provided mainly by the many pamphlets and books scattered around the room, and sheer cuteness; an endearing amateurish sensibility is combined with just enough substance to leave you grinning.

Terminal House Terminal House is the first of a series of four escape-the-room adventures by developer, GUMP, that chart your oddly pastel-blue hero's quest to gain freedom from mysterious captors; perhaps the least sophisticated of the group, it is nonetheless excellent. I love the game's quirky sensibility, its commingling of surreal elements and standard escape-the-room tropes.

Masonic Mystery Masonic Mystery is a fun little point-and-click escape game. If you're looking for a little mid-week excitement, or are one of those folks looking to prove the Freemasons were behind faking the moon landing, here's the game for you. You won't find any evidence, but you might find a little entertainment, and a pleasant way to pass the time as you try to get out.

Button Escape 26 A little bit of weirdness makes everything nice in this short and sweet escape from Tototo Room. Can you find and click on all eleven buttons in order to find a way out? Doing so will first require figuring out what the heck that thing in your inventory is supposed to be.

Mystery House in Japan While not the magnum opus of the escape game genre, Mystery House in Japan is fun, quick, and indisputably well-designed, perfect for a brief break in your day. While Bianco Bianco may not be the most stunningly original designer out there, it can always be counted upon to provide a solidly constructed and entertaining experience.

Escape From the Room With Three Keys 4 Hottategoya has got-ya once again in this short, simple, but oh-so-elegantly clever little escape gem. There are no items to pick up apart from the three keys you'll need to find your way out, but there are clues just hanging around waiting for you to find them if you can put two and two together. Hardcore escapists will find this one a snap, but treat it like a warmup for your brain and you'll have a great bite-sized bit of puzzling for your day.

Bird's Eye View Escape Bird's Eye View Escape is a unique, well-made room escape game that offers a new perspective (literally) on the genre; it also happens to be really tough. If you're willing to take on a challenge and have the stamina to crack open some seriously enigmatic puzzles, we heartily recommend this game.

Girl's Room No. 17: Hair Clip Funkyland is still helping us get ready to go out, and in this installment of the popular, frilly escape series, we'll have to solve some cute and clever puzzles to find a total of five hair clips hidden throughout the room before we can leave.

Find the Escape-Men Part 164: EM Land When you're an employee at no1game's EM Land, you catch your breaks when you can, but when you find yourself trapped in the locker room, you'll need to hunt high and low, as well as solve a few confounding conundrums, in order to escape!

Dismantlement SUSHI At first, all you have is a screwdriver. Tap away to remove the first screw and you're presented with a delicious sushi dinner which innocently hides another series of puzzles. Tapping and tilting your mobile device, find clues and decipher codes until your true dismantlement mission is revealed.

Spooky Night Escape A point-and-click adventure disguised as an escape, Spooky Night Escape evokes the look and feel of the Halloween season with its nighttime setting, pale moon, and eerie trees. You have run out of gas somewhere on a dark, deserted road and must search the area, find some clues, solve some puzzles, and get the heck away before the inhabitants of the ominous nearby shack return. Don't go into Spooky Night Escape expecting ghosts, ghouls, or jump-scares, because there's none of those to be found. The game merely evokes the feel of the season with its look and unearthly music clip.

Button Escape 25 All you have to do to escape is find and click on the eleven hidden buttons. Should be easy, right? But with sneaky codes and some definite weirdness, this short game might not be so simple after all.

Escape from the Strange Forest Hottagoya's triplex style of puzzle presentation is elevated to a new level in this refreshing escape game. You're not so much trapped inside as hovering above a labyrinth forest of evergreens. With some wandering about, you'll eventually find a box containing your first clue: a map of sorts. Follow it to the next clue until you can find the exit door and decipher the secret code to escape.

Escape from Dr. Ichie's Factory It's another blast from the past with this week's Weekday Escape. It's an oldie from our friends at Bianco-Bianco by the name of Escape from Dr. Ichie's Factory, another gem in the Dr. Ichie series. The story's a familiar one: you wake up in the middle of an odd factory building, and you find a note from the culprit, Dr. Ichie, telling you that you have to solve some puzzles to escape from it.

Wanna Go to the Concert! Part 1 It's the day you've been waiting for!... except you can't find the ticket to go to the concert, and your cat is decidedly not helping! You'll need to solve puzzles to find it in this cute escape from CHOKO-CHAI, or you're not going anywhere!

Find the Escape-Men Part 157: At the Wedding Short and bittersweet, this escape game from no1game has you racing to stop a wedding... but will you pull it off? Hunt around to find your ten little green men and find out, but the outcome might not be what you were expecting!

100 Crypts New in the line of mobile room escape games with "100" in their name ("door exit" games, if you will), 100 Crypts takes a bit of a darker tone with its series of point-and-click puzzles. Dropped off in a series of one screen rooms, your goal is to find a way to unlock the door, unseal the tomb, open the port hole, or do whatever it takes to leave the area, usually so you can find yourself in the exact same situation when you reach the other side!

Chubby Hamster With its cute animation, wacky yet suspenseful music, amusing sound effects, and its bizarre characters, Chubby Hamster is a fantastic adventure all on its own. Help the poor hapless hamster escape before he meets unspeakable doom. Unspeakable, I say!

Vineyard Escape It's a beautiful day outside, but you're stuck in a work room, and even once you manage to unlock the door, that isn't the end of things in this gorgeous escape game from Pine Studio that's also free for Android and iOS!

Camp Pine Need a new merit badge to add to your collection? An alien has crash landed at Camp Pine, where your scout troop is on camp. Help the alien repair his ship and get home in this cute point-and-click adventure from Selfdefiant. It's a fun, coffee break sized distraction without the frustrations of illogical puzzles or hard to find items

Locked Around the Clock With a room full of clock-centric puzzles, SuzumeDr's characteristic style of themed escape-the-room games works exceedingly well. Although some of the clues have the potential to stump players, keeping in mind the motif should help you out. The clever contraptions and cunning creatively add up to a peppy and fun escape that's well worth your time.
