My First Valentine's Day

It doesn't matter if you have a special someone because no1game choo-choo-chooses you with My First Valentine's Day, a cute point-and-click puzzle game about a little girl who desperately wants to give something to someone she likes. First, however, she's going to have to assemble all the ingredients to make a truly magnificent Valentine's chocolate box herself... even if she is just a kindergartner! To play, just click around to explore the room and interact with items, trying to find what you need from the list your mother left and solving the puzzles in your way. When I was little we just cut up red construction paper, but hey, I've always been a slacker. If you want something cute and light to make you smile, and maybe make you feel better about your own organizational skills (seriously, who puts chocolate there?), fire this up and prepare to be twitterpated.

Being dumb I guess. Can't find a clue for the up/down cabinet.

It's a click hunt.

Check the left side of the orange, three shelf cabinet.

Step on up!

So where is the 5 number code for the fridge to be found ?

Reply

Never mind - found it.

Okay -- the best typo of the day is "point-and-cluck escape game." Starts me down all kinds of mental images of all of us sitting in front of our computers making chicken noises.

Please don't fix it -- it makes me laugh (not in a derogatory way).

@vball23 Thanks, but I've

stepped on up to both the fridge and the smaller cabinet and did not find chocolate. It won't let me place the step stool next to the larger white cabinet.

Not sure what to do.

looking forward to the walkthrough.

Also very stuck on the chocolate. :-(

Reply

nvm, found it

Reply

Try poking at the stairs themselves more.

I dislike hunt-and-cluck games. :-(

Thought I'd clicked all over those things!

Thanks, Benabik!

Feels like I've clicked over every square inch, but the code for the fridge is eluding me.

Reply

Never mind.

Those darn steps!

I'm stuck on the green cabinet.

Can't figure out where to use the numbers from the white cabinet on the far right. Feels like it should be used on the three door cabinet in the middle. Uch. Have everything except the chocolate.

@Felici7as

Look at what's on the shelves next to those numbers...

OK, have all the ingredients but am stuck on how to use them - order, what goes where, etc.

Power of waiting and power of posting...

So you don't actually have to MAKE the chocolate. My bad.

Walkthrough!

First screen (with refrigerator)

Check the fridge

nothing in the freezer

hmm, a five-number code on the fridge door

Check the sink/stove area

nothing in the blue cupboard, nothing in the sink

nothing in the stove, nothing on the range top

blue and white letter lock on the green cupboard

Check the table

list of items to collect -- oh, fun!

click the chair to reveal a clue!

blue A becomes white B -- huh? have I seen this before?

Second screen (with three door orange cabinet)

Blue stepstool

try stepping up on it first

nah, nothing on top of the orange cabinet -- made you look!

examine the stepstool more closely

click to the left of the stool

hey, who put that chocolate there?

click to the bottom of the stool

hey, who put that five-number code there?

Orange cabinet

top door has a black cylinder shape

middle door has a black curved shape

bottom door has a black flat shape

click to the left of the orange cabinet

hmm, some black and white shapes here; they look important

Door with green knob

hmm, won't let me out yet; better keep looking

Third screen (with white cabinet)

Check to the left

what's this, a bowl?

Top section of cabinet

left door is open

some flat shapes that look vaguely familiar, and a 4 next to them

right door is locked

Middle section of cabinet

what's in this drawer -- a spatula?

Bottom section of cabinet

left door has two square shapes

they remind me of something I saw earlier

ah, yes, the pattern on the left side of the orange cabinet!

Solving time!

use the pattern from the left side of the orange cabinet on the bottom door

up-down-down-up-up-down-down-up

take the toppings

use the five number code from the bottom of the stepstool on the fridge door

14106

take the fresh cream

use the stepstool in front of the fridge

take the key

use it on the white cabinet door

take the heart-shaped cup on the bottom shelf

see those numbers next to the shapes?

2 and 5 next to some tall cylinders, 1 and 3 next to some curved shapes

remember these from the orange cabinet?

open the orange cabinet doors in this order: middle-top-middle-bottom-top

take the gift bag

open the green cabinet

use the clue from the table

blue A becomes white B

click the white letters one past each blue letter

you'll spell CHOCO

take the pot

Put everything (except the stepstool) on the table, and click the door

you made the chocolate for a Green Man!

who turns out to be . . . your father?!
