Versus Ohrustenny Quest From Red Medusa Productions, creators of the Versus flash animation series, and XPYC Team, creators of... potato chips (I think?), comes VerSus Ohrustenny Quest. The small amounts of in-game text are in Russian, but the general story of this point-and-click adventure should be clear in seconds: a fair maiden has been kidnapped, and it's up to the Fourth Musketeer (who, lest we forget, is actually a swordsman) to rescue her from her captors. A little naughty as potato chip commercials go, but fans of physical comedy will find it definitely worth an impulse try.

Killbot A quirky off-kilter adventure puzzle platformer from PixelWelders, starring a Killbot who isn't too sold on the whole "killing" thing. Interesting Gravity Gun telekinesis mechanics and snarky writing is weakened by glitches and loose controls, but there are a lot of cool ideas displayed in this debut release.

The Dark Room (YouTube) You can't look around. You can't check your inventory. You can try weeping, but expect Australian comedian John Robertson to taunt you if you do. ("Is there anything as sad as tears only you can feel but nobody can see?") If you're going to escape from this YouTube-based puzzler, you'll need to think outside the box. Actually, that won't help you either. You're not in a box. You're in the Dark Room.

Zombies Ate My Phone Zombies Ate My Phone, a Phones4U advergame developed by Koko Games, isn't the first top-down zombie action shooter we've ever featured on JIG. It's probably not even the first top-down zombie action shooter we've featured that's set in a mall. However, it is, in all probability, the first top-down zombie action shooter wherein you can chuck vintage LPs at a mummy. And you know what? Sometimes that's enough.

What we need now is an html5 puzzle game based around our company's various and sundry products. Thor: Bring The Thunder Zounds! A movie-tie-in advergame that is a 16-bit platformer and doth not suck? And one that doth has been made by retro king Big Pixel Studios! Yea, verily! I personally may be a bigger fan of the Distinguished Competition, but any game that lets you control a Norse God that flings lightning and hammers around is certainly worth a look. Yes, it's Thor: Bring the Thunder, just released on the main Marvel site. Indeed, I've heard that the company has just released a 150 million dollar movie for the sole purpose of promoting this game. Was it a waste of money? By Odin's beard, I say thee nay!

Deliza Some things in life are purely about experience, like bungee-jumping and rollercoaster rides. And there are games with no apparent meaning, that draw you in simply to enjoy something different, like Deliza. This point-and-click curiosity is essentially an advergame without the hard-sell elements, diffcult to define yet an experience in its own right.

Magnum: Pleasure Hunt I think it's about time that I admit that I just don't understand marketing. I wouldn't know why a jump and run platformer based around racing through a myriad selection of websites would be considered an apropos format for an ice cream bar ad . But hey, I do know a good time when I see it, and Lowe Brindfors and B-Reel have certainly given Unilever their money's worth in Magnum: Pleasure Hunt

Grow Valley What do you do when you find yourself the owner of a big empty valley? In this adorable follow-up to Grow Island from Eyezmaze, puzzle out the correct order of things to make your valley grow and thrive as big as possible.

Space Paranoids Even though it inherited the title from the original Tron, Space Paranoids is very aptly named. Because your advantage lies in speed, not firepower, the game encourages a lot of running away and waiting for enemies to come to you. Space Paranoids is not just a good advergame or a nice taste of nostalgia; It's also a fine game in its own right, and a great example of what the Unity engine can do when done well.

Server Quest Created to promote Microsoft's TechNet service, Server Quest is an adventure game lovingly crafted in the style of early 90s Lucasarts/Sierra titles. From its blocky visuals, kooky musical score and off-beat sense of humor, it's like stepping fifteen years in the past without having to fire up the ole time machine. It's also one of the geekiest games you'll ever play with a number of minigames quizzing you on your knowledge of IT lingo.

Scuttle Buggery Your role in Scuttle Buggery is that of of a lowly beetle, trudging through a grimy, moth-infested world stitched together from burnt paper and rusty typewriter parts. Your burden is to find drops of oil and liquor near the discarded musty bottles from which they spew, and push them into the appropriate drains. The artwork is sumptuously detailed, perfectly matched to the music, full of decadent textures and decay. The liquid transparency effects are especially noteworthy, but everything, right down to the creepy flutter of a moth's wings, has been rendered with sickly beauty and realism.

Job Pico Job Pico is the name of Gotmail's latest point-and-click, room escape effort, and this one puts you to the task of escaping from a room as a sort of "recruitment task" as you look for something new—presumably disillusioned with your previous line of work. Your new job? Making room escape games, of course!

Thule Trail Thule Trail is a re-imagining of the grade school classic, Oregon Trail, but instead of playing a family of 19th century immigrants, you play a group of 20 somethings road-tripping to a music festival. Instead of going to Oregon, you're going to Santa Barbara. The game takes its name from the 20th century occult society that sought the road to Atlantis; the music festival you travel to is called Atlantis, so it works. The rest of the game follows suit like a friendly slacker.

Grow Island The latest Grow game from On of Eyezmaze! Need we say more? This is without a doubt On's greatest work-to-date, and in it he embodies an optimistic philosophy. Following the correct order of things will lead to a society where men and women get along happily, the environment is protected and technology is harnessed to discover the secrets of the universe.

Jelly Battle Jelly Battle pits your Jelly gender-nondescript person against three others in a multiplayer, turn-based, fast-paced, destruction-laden, free-for-all battle OF DOOM!!! It's also one of those dastardly games that make it oh-so-easy to play "just one more round."

Ghost Ship I must have missed this back in 2002 at the theatres, and yet it makes for a spine-tingling, interactive narrative Flash piece now. Ghost Ship was a movie released in October of that year, and it was even made into a Flash game to promote the film. For those of you who love point-and-click adventures, and especially those who didn't care for how T...

The Everglow Polyphonic Spree did it with Quest for the Rest, and now a band called Mae is promoting their soon-to-be-released album, The Everglow, with a brand new Flash game. The Everglow mixes original music from the band's new album with several short games to provide an entertaining interactive experience. Included is a...

The Ball Game UK vacuum sweeper manufacturer, Dyson, has just released a new Flash game to promote their brand new line of cleaners. Similar in quality to their Telescope game previously highlighted here, The Ball Game is an action arcade game in which the player guides a yellow ball to the goal in...

Global Player Global Player is a Flash game designed to test your skills at sorting packages and routing them to their proper destinations. Everything in the game is color coded, and each level consists of a system of conveyor belts and switches. These give way to multiple destinations where transportation awaits to receive each package and send it on its way.

Do You Have a Grudge? From Sony Pictures comes this Flash point-and-click adventure to promote their new low-budget horror film starring Sarah Michelle Gellar of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame. This mini-adventure is quite scary and will likely send chills down your spine, so turn down the lights and turn up the volume for maximum effect.

Scary Scavenger Hunt 2 Garfield.com has another charming haunted house adventure up featuring Garfield as the main character, of course. The object of Scary Scavenger Hunt II: Donuts of Doom is very similar to the first one: escape the haunted house without getting too scared. To escape, simply find and collect all seven (7) packages of donuts.

Grrr Game The Grrr Game puts you in control of a white rabbit, on a quest for carrots, using the arrow keys to move around the isometric pseudo 3D environment. Landing next to any hateful object will cause the rabbit to whip out his gargantuan hammer and whack the smithereen stars out of it, and thus turning it into a lovely object of affection.

Lego Racing From Lego.com comes one of the best Shockwave 3D implementations I've seen. Supersonic RC mixes fast and furious checkpoint racing with extreme stunts. What you wind up with is a 3D racer that is exciting and fun, with 5 different challenge modes of play. If you like single-player racers, you simply must try this one.

Based on some characters and plot elements of Isaac Asimov's short story collection from 1950, the movie "I, Robot" starring Will Smith's has been released. And to promote it, 20th Century Fox created an impressive Flash site to play with. In it I found this series of games related to the content in the movie. Lots of animation and motion graphic eye candy going on in there. I hope the movie is as entertaining as the website was.

Telescope game For the puzzle lover in you comes this cute little Flash game in which the objective is to get the silver ball into the hole by clicking on the telescopes. Telescopes can push or pull the ball across the grid. It's a very clever little twist on a classic puzzle game concept, and it even remembers the progress you've made through the game in case you have to leave and come back.
