Fat Slice 2 I like pie. Do you like pie too? You should try Fat Slice 2, an action puzzler where you've got to make a few nice slices to chop the field down in size. Avoid the white balls and steer clear of the impassible white edges, and make sure you tuck your napkin in before you start. Things can get a bit messy when you're slicing a giant octopus-shaped pie.

Swapster Swapster's simple physics puzzle premise comes with a twist... remove all nasty purple objects from the screen by using a teleporter gun to swap their places with other shapes. Though light on bells and whistles as well as extraneous elements, Swapster still provides a surprisingly smart and challenging experience thanks to thoughtfully crafted levels that will engage your brain and your reflexes.

Alice House No. 9: Alice's Evidence In order to escape from this Alice in Wonderland themed title from Funkyland, you need to find five items bearing the Knave of Spades. Just keep your eyes peeled and crack a couple codes, because this one definitely falls into the short and sweet category.

Pipe Riders Leap into a world of irresponsible driving and geometric collisions in Oslo Albet's simple but breezily fun and fast-paced 3D racing game! Swoop around the screen across 32 different courses, avoiding hazards and nabbing time bonuses, in an effort to lock in the high score and prove once again what all adults know... driving in the real world is boring.

Imperfect Balance 2 Ttursas brings you a sequel to the original anti-balance game with this deceptively simple looking physics puzzle about using stuff to knock stuff off of other... stuff. With clean design and a nice pack of levels that will test your shape-fu, Imperfect Balance 2 doesn't add much to the original's formula, but still provides a nice midday distraction.

Symbiosis: Greenland The evil purple alien crystals are trying to take over the world again, this time starting in Greenland. In this enjoyable tower defense game, seed your plants strategically on the board and link them for more power. Can you use your symbiosis to eradicate the crystals for good this time?

Globule There's been an accident in the slime factory and now it's up to you to clean up the mess. In each level you must collect all of the puddles of goo and direct them down one of the available suction vents to make it all go away. To do so, you'll have to push boxes out of the way and mind the arrows which allow you to travel in one direction only.

A colourful and surprisingly upbeat turn-based strategy game that has you equipping and upgrading your party of unlikely heroes as they battle their way across the city.

Shameless Clone 2 How could Roman Squall and Yuriy Kurenkov possibly top the shameless clonage of Shame Clone, their awesome melting pot of bullet-hell and internet culture? Why, by making a sequel of course! In retrospect, the answer seems obvious. It's Shameless Clone 2, the arcade space shooter that rips off ALL the things! More a remake or expansion, Shameless Clone 2 is undeniably a quality work, though may leave fans of the original wanting more.

Utopian Mining Who says robots never get to go on adventures? In this short but addictive little casual mining simulation, you play a small robot with a big drill who is out to rebuild the city by bringing in ore to sell. While not as complex as other mining titles, Utopian Mining is cute, accessible, and a lot of fun for an afternoon.

The Man with the Invisible Trousers James was waiting. Waiting for someone to need his skills as a private eye. Or rather, he would have been if someone hadn't murdered the head of his five-person detective team. Radical Dog's quirky new noir-themed puzzle platformer offers a healthy dose of ridiculousness to go along with its mystery.

Catastrophe Escape There's a tornado coming straight for you, but you're stranded with a broken car in front of a deserted gas station. Pine Studios serves up an atmospheric but not always logical escape game with some... unique puzzle solutions.

Finders Seekers: Mystery of Stonecliff Good ol' Uncle Whatsisface has disappeared, according to a letter from a British consulate in Africa, and it's up to you to solve the mystery of Finders Seekers: Mystery of Stonecliff. Easy, right? Well this little point-and-click escape adventure might have you thinking "What the...?" more than once.

Feign: Track down nine bodies in a brain-bending maze of unreal proportions brought to you by Ian Snyder. The premise is simple, and so is the gameplay, but the otherworldly design and lack of narrative combine to create an oddly meditative experience where the only real meaning is the one you give to it.

Wake Up The Box 3 Box? Wake up!... C'mon, do we have to get out the non-rotatable wooden objects and attach them to surroundings, and let the physics of the situation jostle you awake, like last time? Oh well... guess we do. Wake Up The Box 3 is the latest in Eugene Karataev's popular series of puzzle games. Even if it feels a bit of a step backwards, it remains a very fun coffee break kind of game.

Mushroom Madness 3 Fun, frantic, and addictive, Mushroom Madness 3 is a kicking tower defense game and a great way to vent all of your inner pent up rage and frustration on a wide variety of animals, insects, and birds. Mushroom Madness 3 has added new levels, new scenarios, and best of all many new weapons and upgrades to the mix, including a fantastic "auto-click" feature that saves the gamers' mouse finger from the muscle cramps that ensue when rapidly clicking to annihilate all of the cute and cuddly yet annoying fauna of the forest.

Orton and the Princess How are your fingers this morning? Think they're limber enough to help Orton rescue his princess in this little retro platformer? With a surprising level of challenge and a bouncy soundtrack, this is one game you should make time for if you've ever complained that other platformers were too easy, or if you haven't been berated by a text box lately.

Alchemist When the pure light that sustains the alchemists starts to dwindle it's what's referred to in the industry as "A Major Problem", and it's up to you to restore civilization in this gorgeous and brief metroidvania platformer.

Flagstaff: Chapter One Even among turn-based RPG games, Flagstaff is deliberate, relaxed, low-stakes. The adorable big-eyed and big-headed sprites only add to that feel. "Who's an adorable little skeleton? You are! You are!" Although you can't save mid-level, each individual level doesn't take too long, which makes this a great choice for a little working day gaming break where you want to relieve stress, not aggravate it.

Shoot Pixels The pixel world inside your computer needs your help in this top-down retro shooter from Irsperanza. Customize your tank and weapons as you mow down wave after wave of enemies. If you might enjoy enjoy skulking around an arena, dodging bullets, seeking out waves of baddies, and upgrading a puny starter tank into a mighty juggernaut, Shoot Pixels will make for some high quality low-rez action.

Evilgeddon Spooky Max It's just you, your hair, your sunglasses, and legions of monsters looking to take a bite out of you in Firebeast's quirky, action-packed arcade shooter. Blast your way through waves of baddies in each area to take down the boss, earning coins and experience for upgrades on the go. A vibrant design and simple gameplay makes this the perfect choice for some light, casual, locking and loading.

Loom Blend Loom Blend is another room escape game from Place of Light, who previously brought us Room Fake, Room Bath, Room Marine, and Loom Above. The game's scenario is nothing new: you are in a room filled with diabolical puzzles and more than a few secrets, and must employ all of your wits to escape. A simple premise, but one that Place of Light does very well.

Goin Up Goin Up is a new vertical-scrolling arcade platformer by Comix. Well... when I say "new", I guess I mean "recent" more than "novel". In truth, its gameplay feels more like a mish-mash remix of the mechanics of other releases than its own creation. However, what Goin Up lacks in innovation, it more than makes up for with style. After all, if I'm going to be steering my player-character into bombs to be propelled higher for the hundredth time, those bombs had better be darn pretty. And well... they are.

RADiancE RADiancE is an arcade game that combines the best elements of the classic Breakout with the best elements of the classic game of Snake, but it much more than a slapdash chimera of two different classic games. The colorful neon graphics and inventive use of music and sound make for a bold, flashy presentation. And while there is more than a little bit of randomness in the gameplay, there is also enough skill required to make it interesting to arcade fans.

The Control Panel The Control Panel is an oldie but a goodie. Despite its age the game is a tight, well-constructed puzzle solving treat. Stripped of everything that usually accompanies a puzzle of this sort, no story, no background, no instructions, be prepared to sit back and let the gameplay blow your mind (and perhaps cause a concussion, if you end up banging your head against the nearest flat surface in frustration).

Goblin War Machine The goblins are mad as hell, and they're not going to take it anymore! After years of humans stealing goblin inventions and claiming them for their own, the goblins are ready to strike back by constructing an impressive (if somewhat unsteady) goblin powered war machine and rolling through the countryside. Crush the human resistance, earn upgrades and highscores across eighteen levels in this silly, bouncy action physics title from Big Block Games. Whose side are you on?

Lethal RPG: War Begins The kingdom is in peril, and undead armies are rising all across the land! You are Lethal, the king's champion, and you and your band of trusty adventurers must put a stop to the skeleton legions! This browser-based RPG is a miniaturized prelude to the full Lethal RPG: War PC/mobile game, but it's still stuffed to the gills with enemies to fight, pets to collect, bosses to take down, and sidequests to venture on. Venture through the forest, desert, and mountains to take on lizardmen, bandits, evil mushroom-wielding sorcerers, and more!

Ninja Bear and Purple Teddy Figure out puzzles and use the power of physics to bring the monsters under the bed to justice, through the cute (if Skyrim-obsessed) duo of Ninja Bear and Purple Teddy. And if you're up for some hidden object bonus, collect all the yin-yang symbols too. An excellent variety of challenges and an easy to use interface, plus original music and voice acting, make this a game that really has players' enjoyment in mind.

Warning Foregone Warning Foregone is an addictive little pixelated shooter based heavily on previous games while managing to stand on its own. Featuring an evolving boss, several weapon upgrades, and achievements galore, Warning Foregone with feel familiar while driving you to see just what kind of boss evolves next.

Spring Morning Tomatea is a developer that respects the time of year with their escape games, so it should be no surprise that as winter turns to spring, Spring Morning graces our computer screens. Navigate by mouse, keep an eye out for the glowing cursor, and hopefully eventually leave the room and greet the beautiful spring weather outdoors. Unless you're allergic to pollen.

Experimental Shooter 2 All shooters are created identical, if not equal, right? After all, how much can you change up "shoot the things" as a gameplay concept? Well, this clever little puzzler has a few ideas, and in this sequel to the 2011 hit, each level offers up new mechanics and rules you'll have to figure out how to work with... if you can even figure them out at all!

Samegame Fighter Samegame Fighter cuts out all the nasty parts of adventuring (and most of the other parts, for that matter) and distills battling monsters to a matching game. Samegame Fighter is a solid choice for those of us who'd love to be heroes but enjoy changing our underwear regularly.

Robots Initiate Work Times are rough for the working robots, they need commands and fast! Help them achieve their goals before the time runs out. Command and plan to ensure the growth of your little robot colony.

As I Lay Dying Teale Fristoe believes that love is expressed through devotion and makes this point quite succinctly in his latest platform adventure game. As I Lay Dying has one of the genre's more bizarre premises, but what really makes it stand out is how well the premise is integrated with the gameplay. Thankfully, the remarkably morbid subject matter is handled with as much dark comedy as Fristoe could muster. All in all, this is a solid platformer with an unusual enough premise that it's worth a look.

A Kitty Dream What do cats dream of when they sleep? According to this adorable game originally made in just five days for a competition, it's all about strange and unexpectedly challenging platforming through a surreal Metroidvania-style world.

Incursion 2 Evil never rests, so neither can you in the latest installment of realtime strategy from Booblyc! You'll lead Targa Wrathbringer and his army against a marauding demon horde, this time upgrading not only your units, but the heroes you'll recruit to your cause as well, and learn to master powerful new spells and abilities in the process.

Photon Baby Grab your Photonic Laser Blaster, and get ready to bring a little light to the creatures of the dark in Photon Baby, a genre-busting platformer by Jeremias Babini. Drawing inspiration from all manner of genres, Photon Baby is a unique little creation, with influences as far ranging as Laser Physics puzzles and the 16-bit classic "Zombies Ate My Neighbors". Some of the later levels get a little busy with competing inspirations, but overall Photon Baby is perfect for arcade gamers who wish Halloween lasted all year.

Star Drops You didn't mean to rip your sister's Best Friend Bear. You just wanted to play with it a little too! She should really learn how to share. But now she's up in her room crying, and you feel just awful. Fortunately, there's a sale on Best Friend Bears at the local emporium. What's more, they accept shooting star gems as currency, and your little planetoid is just pelted with them! It's time to get to work. Star Drops, an upgrades-based action game by Plixik, is a fun and quirky little game that manages to balance fast-paced action with soothing music and visuals.

zOMGies 2 If there's one thing I loathe, it's those darn dirty zombies. Not just for their intentions re: my brains, but also how it seems that, as of late, some developers have used their antagonistic qualities to prop up uninspired game design. Every so often though, a game comes out that features the undead in a way that feels fresh and interesting... and since I already dodged one apocalypse this week, I was just about ready to go for two. That game is Jim P's new run and gun shooter, zOMGies 2.

Hexep Light up all the hexagons in this tile based puzzler. Without backtracking, use your mouse to trace a path until all the tiles are lit. The mazes get more complicated as you go on, getting larger and adding special tiles. What starts out as beautifully simple, ends up fun and challenging.

Jump Me It's always interesting when a developer takes a familiar mechanic, then remixes it to make a new kind of enjoyable puzzle. Case in point: Jump Me, a simple idea puzzle game by Ozzie Mercado. It's likely that the game would have never have been made if versions of checkers hadn't been kicking around since ancient times. But that allows Jump Me to be different enough to feel fresh, but familiar enough to easily learn.

SplitMan Sometimes, it seems like we could all use an extra pairs of hands. There's just so much to do around the house: taking out the garbage, washing the dishes, pushing around the giant crate collection, flinging yourself across that inconvenient electrified spike-filled pit in the backyard, defeating the neighborhood evil overlord. Wouldn't having a clone on-hand just be great? Keybol apparently thought so, and the result is Splitman, and it's good ol' puzzle platforming fun.

Strike Force Heroes 3 Strike Force Heroes 3 by Sky9Games is the third installment of the running-and-gunning platform-shooter action series that has had players blasting for years. A few changes to the formula may make fans uneasy, especially with so much that needs to be unlocked, but at its core remains a large chunk of bad-guy blasting fun.
