Transblockies Another physics tumbledrop puzzle where the grumpy purples must be pushed off the screen! Changes shapes to cause physics chaos, time your clicks just right, and gather up those stars to grant a land free of angry looking shapes.

Planet Punch When you wish upon a star, typically you don't think of that star as being a surly, violence-loving mass of energy with planets for fists looking to pummel the ever-loving crap out of everything in its path. But fortunately for us, Matt Thorson and Alec Holowka DID think of it, and it's pretty darned entertaining.

Quantum Corps Quantum Corps is a fast-and-furious run-and-gun retro shooter by HypnoHustler where players manipulate time and gravity to take out Neo-Detroit drug scourge in the futuristic year of 2002. Definitely a game for those who with their gravity-platformers had more exploding vats, Quantum Corps may have simple mechanics, but will keep fans of the genre gleefully speed-and-slow-running.

Crypt Keeper In Crypt Keeper, you find yourself plunked down in the middle of a truly spooktastic graveyard. How and why did you get there? Not important. It's the middle of the night, and there are creepy noises and big ominous tombstones and omigosh you need to get out right now!

Falling Forever In Falling Forever, you control an unlucky black silhouette of a fellow who gets dropped through a trap door into a tall empty room. Empty, that is, except for the DEADLY LASER stretching across the floor. Your job is to stay alive as long as possible by launching yourself off the convenient but fragile bubbles rising through the room.

Escape from the Similar Rooms 3 The same ol' same ol' is exactly what you want when you're in the mood for light, casual puzzles in a minimalist setting. Hottategoya follows up the similar rooms series by stepping up the navigational obstacles which test your powers of observation. Solve three codes, open three doors and, quicker than you can say dèjá vu, you'll have that same great feeling that comes from a successful escape.

Pirouette Pirouette, a piece of interactive art by Hayden Scott-Baron and increpare, is an infuriating work. Gameplay, which consists of linearly walking and talking to people, leans away from the "interactive", which might lead to the perennial discussion as to whether it qualifies as a game at all. The plot, depicting someone confronting those they loved and those they hurt, is vague and, with its frank talk of sex and toxic relationships, deliberately provocative. And yet... there is beauty to be found here. Pirouette will divide opinion. However, whether your opinion is positive or negative, it will be strongly so, and that can't be a bad thing.

Santa's Rescue Elf Santa Claus is stuck in a precarious position. Fortunately, he has some pointy-toed shoe-wearing back-up to assist him, as Santa's Rescue Elf is comes to the rescue. A point-and-click puzzle game by The Gamer Stop, Santa's Rescue Elf is a holly-jolly bit of Christmas fun, albeit with a few obtuse solutions.

Myosotis Chapter 5 The stylish, neon-soaked point-and-click puzzle series comes to an abrupt and puzzling close as PI Rick must solve an odd mixup of puzzles to set right the bizarre events from the rest of the series.

Adynatopia Imagine a dimension not only of sight, but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are imagination. This should help put you in the right state of mind before you venture into Louis (T)'s unique puzzle platformer, where you control a black pawn in 4-dimensional space. Your goal in each of the 14 levels is to touch the grey checkpoints through what looks like some impossible jumping. This game will blow your mind! Or possibly just blow it up.

Magical Sphere Escape Magical Sphere Escape evokes that Myst-like sensation of not just solving puzzles, but solving history. And despite its flaws, Magical Sphere Escape is one of the best escape games I have played. There are a couple places where you'll need your Veteran Escaper Sense™ to find a clue or item, but the major puzzles are astonishingly logical. But be sure to read our review and consult our translation notes to get the most out of hidden gem.

The Perfect Shot The Perfect Shot is an action game of skill and finesse created for our 4th game design competition. To play through each of the game's 20 levels, just throw the ball to the goal. It's a ball-tossing game that uses a bit of gestural input to give this entry a bit of english over the others in the field. The result is a game that is well-polished a lot of fun to play.

Gornax Made in just 48 hours, Berzerk Studio's latest arena shooter pits you and up to three friends (or AI controlled squadmates) against a giant angry mutant crab for televised ratings. Packed with bullets and power-ups, it's a simple game that feels almost more like a demo, but has all the action you need to kickstart your day.

Psychosomnium A lovely little game that will twist your perception of reality into a hundred lovely different shapes. Psychosomnium was originally a downloadable game by cactus. Now, with its Flixel-based Flash port from Miroslav Malesevic, anyone with a browser and a keyboard can experience the body-switching weirdo-world that is the inside of cactus' mind!

Steampunk Odyssey Abraham Lincoln, America's 16th president, was one awesome dude. Now he needs your assistance getting out of the dark, mechanical city in this point-and-click puzzle adventure. Move ramps, spin gears and make good use of steam power to guide him through this obstacle course, which is more an amusing afternoon romp rather than the arduous decades long journey the name implies. Still, it's enjoyable to interact with the stylistically appealing, tactile artwork and who can say no to helping Abe?

Bunny's Room Escape 2 From Strawberry Café, here's a brisk escape-the-room game just for kicks! Bunny is chillin' with his shades on and there is some funky tropical Christmasy New Year's partyesque thing going on here. So hack into the computer, pick up some clues and solve the requisite puzzles so you can get out of this place.

The Lance Make ready thine lance, young knight! And then make ready to hand it off to thine children, because thou art about to get thine hind end kicked. Joust for the ultimate price (the fabled "the lance") against powerful knights and the king's own Champion in this adorable action game that's a snap to play and a joy to behold.

Super Mind Dungeon Super Mind Dungeon is a retro-styled arcade game that isn't afraid to make you walk the slow, trial-and-error-stocked walk from luck to skill. You play a chunky pixel character who happens to have a nifty psi-power that allows you to fling him through the air. This ability can only be used once, though, until you recharge it by bouncing off a non-metallic surface. Luckily this dungeon is filled with things to bump into. Uunluckily, many of those things are sharp and spiky in nature.

BLiP Use physics to maneuver around obstacles in your quest to collect stars in this stylish platform game. Without a 'jump' ability, you're going to have to use all the physics-based tricks you can to stay off the deadly spikes below. Blip is a fun, playable, and completely fresh take on the genre.

Merubyiusu Come, take my hand, and frolic down the brightly lit path of retro arcade gaming in this 2D side-scrolling shooter featuring a flying fox! No, not THAT one! Despite only having three levels, three bosses, and four weapons, Merubyiusu is a fun and frantic tip of the hat to your favourite console games of yesteryear, with just enough difficulty to make it worth your while. Just remember not to cry when kids these days ask you what a "Gradius" is.

Smart Pen Draw simple line patterns and watch them repeat across the screen, trying to connect each colored circle. Your pattern will "bounce" off the sides of the screen but beware the upper and lower borders, and the black holes on the way.

Gilmo: The Inner Self This puzzle platformer is the story of a spirit who gets chained within an earthly body and must find out a way to get back where he belongs. A beautiful game with a great concept and some flaws dragging it down to earth. If you have the patience for it and a steady hand, it's well worth checking out and admiring. Just... don't expect it to be as forgiving as you.

Minute Hardcore Minute Hardcore is an arcade shooter with shades of the classic bullet-hell Ikaruga. The sparseness of instructions is the game's biggest flaw, but generally, you direct your ship with the mouse, automatically shooting at the spacey invaders. Your bullets come in red, green and blue varieties, and you switch between them by clicking. However, since your bullets do not affect enemies of the same color, it soon becomes a game of constant chromatic changes as you try to keep one step ahead of the clock. If you can spare 60 seconds, it'll be well worth your time.

Wasteland Siege You've got the biggest tower in the post-apocalyptic wasteland, so naturally everyone wants a piece of it. In this defensive shooter from Entertainment Forge, you'll need to keep building it and your defenses higher as you unlock upgrades to blast away increasingly tenacious foes.

Walkabot BEEP BOOP BEEP. I am a Walkabot. I only follow the commands you give me. If you tell me to walk, I will walk. If you tell me to jump off platforms, I will jump. I require you to program me so I can return to my home. If you do not program me correctly, I will fall to my AAAAAAAAAH BEEP BOOP BEEP (smash) boooop.

SteerWheels SteerWheels is a fun little physics-based action puzzle in which the objective is to move the little yellow ball to the yellow goal of each level by pushing it with a set of wheels. If you're like me, you love physics-based puzzle games like this. We've seen more and more of them lately as Flash has matured, and I never tire of playing them.

Escape From the Living Room Escape From the Living Room is a solid, entertaining room escape game. Simply point and click your way through an uncluttered yet beautifully rendered living room, packed with challenges. Or you could just kick back on that inviting couch, relax, and watch some DVDs.

Aries Escape: Episode No.006 Happy birthday to you, haaa-ppy birthday tooo you! Well, it's somebody's birthday here in LiberTechno's festively decorated escape-the-room game, and this somebody thinks it's great fun to rig up the room with an abundance of challenging puzzles. This equals a hefty amount of content while the large banquet table in the center of the room will also challenge your navigational skills, which is especially happy for anyone who'd much rather sleuth his or her way through clues than fill up on frosting-laden cake.

Tesla Defense Harness the power of your particle gun in Tesla Defense. Place electricity zapping towers to rid yourself of the enemy army that is quickly approaching. Use your gun if enemies breach your defenses. Earn cash to upgrade your weapons and towers until you are tough enough to take down the boss!

Linkaball Even if you think Boomshine is fine just as it is, you'll want to check out Linkaball from UK developer OMGames. Rather than attempt the futile task of beating Boomshine at its own game, Linkaball takes the gameplay in a new direction, with a new collision mechanic as well as activating power-ups and a repellent force-field.

Attracting Twist If you could rotate the world and change gravity, things like golf, juggling, balancing a spoon on your nose and standing upright after you've been laying down for three hours would be easy. Attracting Twist teases us with that concept by giving you control over the direction gravity flows, allowing you to move the game world and change where things "drop". Using this ability, your goal is to shoot your way to massive chain reactions as enemies slowly spawn near your ship.

Bunny Cannon Ever wondered where baby bunnies come from? The cuddly protagonist in La Ventanita's Bunny Cannon does, too, but since everyone tells him a different story, he need to straighten things out. Luckily this involves nothing more playing a game of pachinko where bunnies fired from cannons multiply as soon as they come in contact with the opposite gender. It's a lot like Peggle or Coin Drop!, only so much cuter and with so many more rabbits.

Call of Spring The world was being invaded for years by creatures from a far off land. These monstrosities grew in number, but yet the humans turned a blind eye to their existence. So a new hero arose to protect its homeland. This squirrel may be small and adorably fluffy, but it is our last hope, in this cute, action-packed platform shooter.

Monitor Post What would you do if you were stuck in a locked room with a post filled with monitors? Find keys and solve puzzles to unlock the door, of course! Silly question, sure, but this is just the situation in store for you in Monitor Post, a short and sharp-looking escape game from Ninja Motion. With just enough keys and puzzles to keep you busy for a distraction break, the game will please all but the most hardcore of escapers out there who require a bit more challenge than this has to offer.

Rougoku Rougoku falls into the category of more "realistic" escape games, those that concentrate in large part upon collecting and using items in practical ways (with, of course, a few genuine puzzles thrown in). It is a solid room escape game from a solid developer, familiar and proven with games like this.

Nutty Mania Nutty Mania is a fun and relaxing new physics game from FlashRush Games with a silly premise and relaxing puzzles. But this cute little diversion won't be just any old walk in the park, you'll have some interesting obstacles to overcome (dinosaurs!) and some clever physics to navigate (portals!). Honey Hunter Bees. We fear them. Ever since our teachers warned us against tampering with beehives, we've imagined horrid droning swarms armed with venomous harpoons and a zeal for stinging manflesh. But perhaps we should see the world through their tiny eyes, a world of hostile arthropods, artillery-grade raindrops, and really, really spiky plants. Honey Hunter, an outwardly cute mouse-controlled side-scrolling game, gives us a dark glimpse at the fragile lives of these misunderstood creatures.

Switch (A.B.F.S.) Switch, a puzzle platformer by Scott Addelsee, Jemma Barnard, Kate Fierek, and Tom Saunders, is like Sonic CD, if it were designed by the team that made LIMBO. You'll be switching between the past, present, and future to collect keys. Moody atmosphere and clever puzzles are hampered by wonky jump physics and unnecessary "switch" limits, but Switch is a game well worth your time.

Pixel Grower What doesn't get mentioned often are games where the gameplay is the art, the thing of beauty. These games are often misunderstood, classified as boring by those who like a game to have such devices as characters and a story. Consider Pixel Grower, by Joey Betz. Visually, it's appealing, but not awe-inspiringly so. Likewise, the gameplay also appears simple, ...at least initially.

Matiawase Short, sweet, and sentimental, Matiawase is still an entertaining little escape from the everyday. Toys Toys is a compact, high-quality escape game that, if not exactly groundbreaking, is certainly enjoyable. A prominent feature of one of the game's puzzles is the usage of stereograms, a form of optical illusion in which a three-dimensional image is hidden within a two-dimensional picture. All in all, a high-quality production.

Worm Food Control a gigantic subterranean beast with an insatiable appetite whose only power is its ability to leap powerfully from the earth in order to devour several villages and even armies worth of unsuspecting tribesmen. Whether you were a fan of the original Death Worm or are happening upon controlling a monstrous oligochaeta for the first time - rest assured that what you're about to play is pure Nitrome in its classic form.

Train In a world of repression, you managed to stand out and survive the changes. It is not a safe place, but now you stand a chance to survive. Can you activate the machine in time and escape to another dimension? Train is an entry into our 10th Casual Gameplay Design Competition, with the theme of "Escape".

Planet Cruncher Planet Cruncher lets you satisfy your appetite for destruction by casting you as an omnipotent exterminator of worlds. It doesn't exactly feel like a game about the deaths of billions, encased as it is in a shell of relaxing arcadey puzzle gameplay. But sometimes you have to play a game in your own way, and I choose to play this one while cackling maniacally and stroking an imaginary long-haired white star-cat named Lord Galaxathon.

Three Nights Escape You don't know why, but you've got to escape... and you've got to do it over the course of three nights. Three Nights Escape isn't as bizarre as, say, Detarou's work, but it's not exactly normal, either, if the horse in the bathtub is any indication. It has all the typical disadvantages of a Rutenberg game (mild pixel hunts, puzzles that literally can't be solved without trial and error), but the atmosphere redeems it very well, and the puzzles DO make sense if you look at them just right. Overall, it's definitely worth taking a night or three off to play.

Halloween Shooter After a long night of haunting and spooking, there's nothing that your average vampire/mummy/witch likes more than going home to the comfort of their own coffin/sarcophagus/cauldron. In Halloween Shooter, a physics puzzler by GameShot, it's your job to blast them all home for a good day's sleep. Very polished in presentation, with some excellently designed set pieces, Halloween Shooter has a cool retro aesthetic and bouncy sound effects.

Crazy Mom Make no mistake, fifteen years is a lot of time to be married, and Crazy Mom wants the party to pop! But to make this shindig memorable, she needs your help to gather a few things in this short and silly point-and-click adventure from Carmel Games.

Epic Stand The number of defense games out there is as massive as the hordes of enemies you fight in them, but Bright Sight Team's side view strategy game stands out in the horde's ranks. Epic Stand pins you down at your castle and magic is your only weapon. To defend your castle walls, click on the screen to where you want the spell to be cast and let it work its magic. The level is over when there are no enemies left standing and none of them reach your wizard's final floor.

Layer Maze 4 Pipkin Games is trying to tie your brain in knots with something that should be simple. Roll a ball in a maze to an exit. Easy, right? Well, except for the fact that there are coloured keys, doors, locks, paint blotches, and more all strewn across different overlapping layers you'll have to hop in and out of holes to travel through.

My First Recital no1game's little girl is back, and this time her mother thinks she's ready to get set for her very first hula recital all by herself... with a little help from you, of course, as you hunt down all the items she needs in this cute, kid-friendly escape game.

Momentum (Tom Scheper) Platform games commonly require a fair amount of jumping to move around, but the author of this unique platformer decided that jumping is the new walking. As the title implies, Momentum is your best friend and you can bound from platform to platform while dodging spikes and collecting colored candy orbs using that speed.

ErlinE: The Magic Orbs Like lovely visuals? What about pits of death and whirling sawblades flying at your face? This platformer has both! Help ErlinE track down the magical orbs and return them to the portals, but watch out for hazards... and the unforgiving challenge!

Heavy Room In order to escape, you'll need to find your way through four rooms, observing signs and clues, solving puzzles and deciphering codes. Despite the title, though, this is not a heavy undertaking. Simple, quick and perfectly logical, Heavy Room by Triple Rock is just the right balance of ease and fun for a mini game escape anytime you need one.

Paths Paths puts you in control of both your position and the position of (parts of) the environment you move through, and ends up feeling a little bit like Super Monkey Ball crossed with the wood game Labyrinth. It could use a bit more polish, but the game is solid.

Mummies Escape Play as Tom Jones, one of the greatest explores who was only just a head, as well as his rag tag group of friends to help undo the curse you released. Dodge blow darts, spikes, and more to collect the jewels in this physics game, before pushing the mummies back into eternal rest.
