Oh good, we were just wondering what we were going to do with every spare moment for the rest of the summer. The original Tiny Tower first started mopping up our free time in mid-2011. Since then, Nimblebit has branched out into a few other simulation genres, including Pocket Trains, Pocket Planes, and the RPG-like Nimble Quest. With the announcement of Tiny Tower Vegas, it looks like things are going to go back to the old formula. With casino-style slots and card games, of course!
Studio Pixel brings another game to iOS devices, and Fearless Fantasy gets ready to come to mobile, too! Oh, and how about a little fishy Katamari goodness?
A word game that's as intense ad defusing a bomb, a new work of interactive fiction from Emily Short, Broken Age makes its way to iPad, and bigfoot is about to be found!
News bit number one: VVVVVV is on iOS and Android! News bit number two: Super Gravitron is also on mobile! Special bonus third news bit: Super Gravitron is free! Terry Cavanagh delivers a simultaneous bounty of ultra-challenging platform and arcade gaming entertainment for just about anyone with a touch screen device. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on iOS, a Fat Princess matching game getting ready to roll over the world, and a popular Android RPG slides its way to the world of Apples.
Fun fact: Angry Birds Stella will be the tenth game in the Angry Birds series. Ten! Wasn't it just the other day the original Angry Birds was released? The upcoming Angry Birds Stella follows the formula we're all familiar and details the adventures of Stella and her friends Gale, Luca, Dahlia, Willow and Poppy on Golden Island. You can bet those piggies are about to cause some trouble, though, at which point the physics-flinging gameplay will kick into action.
The studio behind Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride and Colossatron: Massive World Threat is getting ready to run head-on into Candy Crush territory. The team is publishing a puzzle game by CitrusJoy called Yes Chef!, utilizing a Bejeweled-style matching grid but replacing candy/gems with real food. Well, if you consider eggplant to be a real food.
Simogo teases inspiration for its upcoming game, Candy Crush Saga rakes in some serious cash, and Pinstripe wants to make us scared to play games again.
Here's some nice news for anybody who likes puzzle games and/or things made by the guy who made Monkey Island. Scurvy Scallywags, the amazingly well-tuned matching game that hit iOS in 2013, has finally worked its way to the green robot devices. It's more than just a blind port, however. Creators Ron Gilbert and Clayton Kauzlaric wanted to experiment with releasing the game for free and supporting it through entirely optional in-app purchases.
Look! Glorkian Warrior got an update! Dungelot 2 finally made its way back to iOS! And somehow, a classic creative platform game originally released in 2007 for Nintendo DS got an iOS port.

Announcement! Remember Treasure Adventure Game from 2011? Robit Studios has been working on a sequel for well over a year and a half, turning the simple sidescrolling adventure game into something exponentially more engrossing. Treasure Adventure World is set to do everything Treasure Adventure Game did, only with smoother gameplay, HD widescreen mode with hi-res artwork, more treasures, more collectibles, better enemy AI, an enhanced story with multiple endings, and plenty of other extras. In short, yes, you'll want this game. You'll want it bad.
