Great Dungeon in the SkyWant to play a hero? How about dozens? Great Dungeon in the Sky is a sort-of roguelike platformer where the foes you vanquish become playable characters. Be a yeti marksman or a drow mage, or slash it up old-school as a knight. Destroy four dragons to reach the boss of the mysterious floating dungeon in this cute, fast-paced retro title.

ManufactoriaGive your circuits a workout in this deceptively simple puzzle game of logic that puts you in control of building a machine designed to test robots for defects. Defects like homicidal tendencies. You know, the usual stuff. When you're done, make use of the level editor, because the best way to show you care for someone is to tie their brain into knots.

AsteroidsCheck out this port of the arcade classic Asteroids by Doug McInnes. If you've never played Asteroids, or an Asteroids-like game, the goal is to pilot your deltoid spacecraft around the void of space, blasting large lumbering asteroids into smaller, faster, projectile-like asteroids, then blasting those into dust before they breach your hull and destroy you. Destroy or be destroyed is the only law against the impersonal Astroids.

P.I. Chronicles: Skull IslandOne of the delights of Skull Island is that it is hiding what amounts to a whole second game within its confines. Take your time and really explore and a wide range of exciting new vistas will open up, taking the story in wild directions that have absolutely nothing to do with your original rescue mission and turning the whole game into a very surreal experience. Take the chance, explore the jungle (and points beyond), and immerse yourself in one of the more complex and satisfying escape games we've seen this year.

NecronatorBeing bad is hard to do! Tasked with raising the monstrous horde and overrunning the kingdom, it might seem like a done deal. After all, the stories you usually hear is about how hard good has to work to overcome evil. Crushing the kingdom under your evil army's boot heels is as much fun as it sounds in this strategy game.

Paint It Red 2What's black and white and red all over? Nothing yet, as we seem to be needing more red! Paint It Red 2 by MoonMana is an interactive art game disguised as a puzzle where your black canvas needs to be covered with red paint as quickly as possible. In each level, paint flows across the screen, following (or not following) the movements of your mouse. If you guide the paint to cover a certain percentage of the screen, you unlock the next level and have the opportunity to move on... or not.

VehiclesWiu wiu! Stop in the name of law! Not very commanding, is it? Well, the stars of this physics puzzle game are more like the squishable cartoon cars of the law than the long arm of same, so maybe that's appropriate. Good thing, too, or else you'd never dare to send them sailing in adorable bug-eyed terror.

Robot Wants PuppyRobot's at it again; armed with a kitty perched atop his boxlike head, he's off to get himself a new friend in this follow up to the surprise smash-hit original retro platformer. Gather keys and unlock the mighty (mighty weird) abilities of your feline companion to eventually win the day and the puppy.

Breaking Bad: The InterrogationA fire engulfs a small church, which leads to the discovery of a staggering amount of weapons in the basement... and something more sinister. As D.E.A. agent Hank Shrader, you're given the task of interrogating a suspect, and it's up to you to figure out the right things to say (and how to say them) to reveal the evidence you need to bring the case to a close in this interactive comic.

Dismantlement: FanThe Dismantlement series is very popular with our regular visitors, and Dismantlement: Fan delivers the goods with a nice variety of logic, math, and word puzzles that need to be solved before you are left with a heap of, well, components. For anyone who likes puzzles, logic, or just ripping things apart, take a few minutes and have fun destroying yet another common household object.

Building Blaster 2The fun thing about video games is that they let us simulate actions that we would otherwise be unable to experience. Building Blaster 2 is a physics puzzle game from 2DPlay that lets you enjoy all the fun of blowing up buildings, with none of the risk of blowing up yourself. Plus, real demolitionists seldom get to use aliens in their line of work. Gamers 1, Demolitionists 0.

BulletheadThere are three things that distinguish Bullethead from the hundreds of other similar, Space Invaders styled vertical shooters. Number one, it's by Nitrome, so you know it will be a high-production affair, with happy music and sound, and cute, colorful, pixelated artwork. And that should be reason enough to stop reading this and give the game a try!

Space ParanoidsEven though it inherited the title from the original Tron, Space Paranoids is very aptly named. Because your advantage lies in speed, not firepower, the game encourages a lot of running away and waiting for enemies to come to you. Space Paranoids is not just a good advergame or a nice taste of nostalgia; It's also a fine game in its own right, and a great example of what the Unity engine can do when done well.

Trafalgar OriginsTrafalgar Origins is a top-down naval combat game commissioned by Channel 4 and created to promote their upcoming television show. It plays similarly to Sid Meier's Pirates, is mission-based, and is an entertaining and educational peek at the age of sail, and one that will take you many hours to beat with quite a bit of replay potential.

Escape from the Small BarEscape from the Small Bar is not Tesshi-e's most difficult, almost a Tesshi-e light, but a charming little escape that will leave a smile on your face. A game as compact and fun as the narrow little space it inhabits, a pleasure for those who enjoy solving their way through locked doors and yes, there is, as always, a happy coin escape. Time to go bar hopping! Just remember, you do need to leave eventually.

The Sound WalkAfter selling his soul in exchange for a successful career, an accomplished composer regrets his decision and sets out across a nightmare dreamscape to gather fragments of himself. A short but difficult rhythm game with a unique style, The Sound Walk is as challenging as it is beautiful.

Give Up, RobotGive Up, Robot is designed to punish you in as many different ways as possible. And that is what makes it great. Players control a unicycling, pixelated robot with a grappling hook and a stoic tenacity, who must traverse elaborate gauntlets at the behest of a fractured, highly vocal, passive-aggressive computer overseer.

RifticThere are some scientists who believe that an action on one side of the universe has an effect on a galaxy on the other side. There are also scientists who believe that placing colored orbs in an astral grid is an excellent mental challenge. Riftic is a puzzle that pulls together both leagues of scientists with a challenge of logic and mental dexterity.

Sorcerer's MazeIn Sorcerer's Maze, by David Frankel, play as Clyde Michaels, intrepid explorer, who must explore a mysterious mansion that stands alone in apocalyptic desert where he lives. It plays similar to Bomberman combined with one of the NES Metal Gears: you guide Clyde through the labyrinth of the house, avoiding or destroying skulls, ghosts, mermen and other creepy-crawlies on the way.

Tigsy and the StarsHave you ever wished upon a star? How about wanted to keep one in your pocket? Then you have something in common with Tigsy in this cute, one-button arcade game. Help him leap from star to star, avoiding the ones he doesn't want, and make it through all thirty levels. Short, sweet, and simple; the best of the three ess'es!

Tombscape 2Now that the Mayan apocalypse is nigh upon us, it is only natural that we doomed mortals should develop a keen interest in all things Meso-American. Tombscape 2 casts the player as an explorer of Mayan ruins, whose quest to understand the mysteries of the pre-Columbian ancients may help you forget the impending advent of the end times.

Wake The Royalty Level PackThey're back and they still can't get any sleep because you keep waking them up! This pack of levels for the popular physics puzzle game offers twenty more stages for you to manipulate contraptions designed to wake up a royal family who just wants a little shut eye. Don't you feel like a bully now?

TepiikuIt's not often you come across a dice game that isn't like anything you've played before, and as such, you keep the deep "unlike anything you've seen before" movie trailer voice tucked away in the desk drawer. Tepiiku is one game that happens to deserve this sound bite, featuring a unique challenge of strategy, risk evaluation, and since we're dealing with dice, luck.

Pixel Knight 2Rid the pixel kingdom from the evil hordes while getting the highest score possible in this action/platform game. For a true knight, a challenge always needs one more thing, doesn't it? In the sequel you'll probably be running on a barrel...

BiomassIt's the end of the world as we know it. So all that is left is to match up cheeky blocks of colour while listening to the soundtrack of the new world order. Strip away the trimmings and Biomass is essentially just another block-elimination game. What makes it fun is the way it looks and sounds. And before the lack of substance and the soundtrack eventually turns you away, it will have given you a good bit of entertainment.

AdverputtBehold, Adverputt! It's a mouse-controlled mini-golf game that embraces commercial solicitation as an aesthetic. Players take aim on a huge, single-screen course, festooned with colorful advertisements awarded to the highest bidders. Hover the cursor over the ball, then move the cursor to aim and determine the power of your swing. Aim carefully, avoid traps and obstacles, and go for the lowest score.

SaturnThere's something unsettling about these stark, washed out sterile backgrounds, very typical of the whole series. Yet the look only adds to the sense of mystery as the player works their way closer and closer to the denouement, whatever that may be in the end. Brace yourself for some strangeness, and join the journey to the center of the house, the solar system, or the human soul. You decide.

Pixel BasherReady for a blast from the past? Pixel Basher is a Breakout clone with a slick new look, new upgrades, and new backgrounds. At only nine levels, it won't keep you busy for long, but it's fast, addictive fun for those of us who remember when an arcade was an actual thing you went to rather than just "That thing old uncle Bob keeps talking about whenever I fire up the console".

TorusWhile it's missing some bells and whistles (like sound effects, namely bells and whistles), and the name might be a bit of a misnomer (wouldn't true toroid Tetris wrap from bottom to top?), Torus makes use of HTML5, a shiny new programming language that's accessible on more platforms than before. While making a step into the future(!) of gaming, Torus pays homage to a classic with its own unique twist.

Cursed TreasureHands off my gems! Well, actually, I guess they're your gems, but you can't blame me for wanting them. Everyone else does, too; from ninja to monks to mages to heroes, everyone is marching on your horde, and it's up to you to utilize three distinct armies at your command to stop them. Gain levels, upgrade abilities, and above all else, protect your treasure!

Let It GlowIt might be a well-worn concept, the stalwart physics game, but something about Vyacheslav Stepanov's latest puzzle game, Let It Glow, really shines. Get the light bulb to glow by removing blocks and helping power conductors fall on the right spots. Lots of physics games fall apart because of shoddy engines: bad inertia and unpredictable movement; or poor level design. Let It Glow is a carefully-crafted experience done right.

Omega CrisisArm yourself with the experimental Omega cannon in this hybrid defense/shooter/resource management game as you struggle to defend your base from hostile invaders. Gather what you need to bolster your defenses, and unlock new technology to help combat the threat. From typically high-action developer Lucidrine comes a slower and more strategic title set in the great beyond.

Ninja-Pi-RoControl three different characters to help recover a stolen diamond in this latest charming point-and-click adventure from Pencilkids. What do you get when you cross a ninja, a pirate, and a robot? Aside from some prime sitcom material, you get the greatest little team capable of taking on anything. Provided "anything" means, apparently, Romanian vikings.

ChiselNeed to shrink a planet? Apply your head to the problem and strap a drill to it. Just mind the local wildlife. In Nitrome's new action/puzzle game Chisel, get ready to tear through terra-firma like you have never done before - unless you are a moleman.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten SandsAn high paced action reflex game in the same vein of Canabalt, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is a promotional game for the upcoming console game of the same name. Super Mario Bros. CrossoverEver wanted to play Super Mario Bros. with different characters? Super Mario Bros. Crossover is just that! The original NES game is here with a handful of playable NES characters. Plexus Puzzle: Pirates!Prepare to be puzzled in the latest unconventional jigsaw game from Plexus and Smartkit! Try to match up the edges of each image to lock them together to form... um... no coherent scene, which only adds to the challenge of figuring out how to connect all the pieces. Pirates! offers puzzling fun with a swarthy theme.

Hotel Bianco-BiancoHotel Bianco-Bianco continues the tradition of quality design inherent in Bianco-Bianco's escapes. The eerily empty lobby aside, this looks like an upscale establishment, one you might not mind spending a night in. What follows is not the most difficult escape out there, but one that is clever, logical, and has a nice twist on the old theme of two endings.

Top Hero ArenaTop Hero Arena seems to imagine a world where a decadent peace leads unmoored adventurers to compete to escape elaborate dungeons full of kooky monsters and devilish traps. And you get to build the dungeon! The dungeon master, to coin a phrase! Huzzah!

TremerzDodge those pesky man-eating earthworms in the homage game that took two decades to appear! The town of Perfection is under siege from underground worms rearing out of their Hades abyss and chomping down on the surface dwellers! If not for the actions of two local repairmen, everyone could be mauled in this fitting homage.

Otomaco: Last Jade JourneyHeard about Otomaco? Apparently it's a legendary city that everyone and their orc wants to get to. And, as part of a merry band of weird looking heroes, so do you. But when sudden capture puts a damper on your journey, it's up to you to free your companions and escape in this flawed-but-fun point-and-click adventure from the creators of the Tortuga series.

WitchThe house didn't fall on the witch, and we can prove it! She's still flying around out there... or, at least, she was until two kids had a kite flying mishap. Use your powers of deduction to help reach one of two possible endings in the Witch's strange hut in this cute and weird little point-and-click escape title.

Atomic PuzzleIf you're looking for a tricky, logical puzzle game to while a few minutes away with, then definitely check out Atomic Puzzle. Between the gorgeous graphics, the easy-going music, and the pure logic of the puzzles themselves, you might find you've put yourself into a trance state.

EXADI is a highly advanced artificial intelligence who needs your help to recover her systems after the assault of a particularly nasty virus. But where did the virus come from? And just what makes someone human anyway?

Mild Escape 3Mild Escape 3 is really basic stuff. No cutesy theme or notes, no back story, literally just you and a locked room. Poke into every corner, open every drawer and cabinet, and maybe take time for a little break to help you figure your way out. What else can you say? This is room escaping 101.

The House 2Back in 2005, Jay is Games introduced us to one of the creepiest, scariest, most popular point-and-click experiences the Web had ever seen, The House, which is still massively popular years later. Homerun in Berzerk LandOkay. Look. If you're reading this, chances are you're on the Internet. If you are, you hate other Internet users. It's just a natural law. That's where Berzerk Studio's new hit-people-with-things simulator comes in. Using elements from their various other games, your goal is simple. Take a short, blunt object, and a passing geek who epitomizes everything bad about the Internet, and hit him. Hit him as hard as you can, and see how far he flies.

Rock 'n' RiskRock 'n' Risk is a unique game in which you jump on upwardly moving colored platforms. A sort of JumboTron in the background tells you which color to jump on next. So Simon meets platformer is not a bad way of thinking about it, though there is quite a bit more to it. Energy is the operative word for Rock 'n' Risk. The whole thing is built like an action game show, with cheering crowds and an upbeat, "dude" commentator praising your every excellent move.

It's Raining Cats And DogsHelp a dog not hit terra-firma by bouncing off the heads of green blobs and fat cats. Pay attention: this is serious! Last as long as you can and get as high a score as a plummeting canine can achieve, bouncing off the occasional fat (alien?) cat for a score bonus.

Escaping the PrisonThis week's room escape is... well, not an escape, per se, but an adventure disguised as an escape. How quick are you? How are you at decision making? Escaping the Prison by Puffballs United will help you find out. It will also help you find out how to fail. A lot.

Connect ItGear puzzles are popular fodder for games these days. If gears aren't the main feature, as in David Durham's Gear Puzzle, then they're a vital component of a switch box or piece of alien machinery in an adventure game. At first glance, Connect It seems like more of the same, but after exploring deeper, this seemingly simple gear puzzler reveals an entertaining and complex depth.

QuietusAfter dancing the hemp fandango you are greeted by the Grim Reaper and offered an interesting proposition: run the gauntlet of Hell and be resurrected with a happier life. Run, jump, and dodge a host of deadly enemies and traps for a second chance in this challenging platformer.

Synopsis Quest DeluxeThink you've got what it takes to be a traditional RPG hero? In this series of minigame-like puzzles aping the genre, it's your knowledge of typical RPG stereotypes, not your sword skill, that will see you through to victory. It's a bite-sized bit of retro charm to fit into your day that requires thinking outside the box.

Complete missions to prove your mastery of the skies, unlock new modes, and prove that it's not the size of the ship that counts... wait, no, it is. It totally is.

Chaos Faction 2Imagine, if you will, a world torn straight from the action-packed sketches doodled in a third-grader's margins. Knights fighting robots, aliens dueling vampires... the craziest, unlikeliest match-ups, set against one another solely for the fact that, deep down inside, your inner child knows that this is the stuff of awesome. Welcome to Chaos Faction 2, the bombastic brawlfest from Dissolute Productions.

Monkey GO Happy 2Monkey GO Happy 2 is the perfect way to get rid of the office blues. How can you resist a game where your only goal is to cheer up a pair of adorable monkeys? The mini-games are all fun, cute diversions, bite-sized and only require a few clicks to solve. That's good, because your clicks are tracked, and at the end of the game you're ranked on how you did.

CosmiCubeCosmicube is one of those 'older games with a new twist' releases that you see every once in a while. The game uses the Unity engine to render a 3-D take on Marble Madness. The marble's track is made of red cubes mounted on a larger black cube. Your goal is to get a marble from its starting point onto the goal by moving your mouse to tilt the playing field. You're aided (and hampered) by an impressive physics simulation that feels very authentic and real, all while listening to a fast-paced soundtrack that fits the action and setting well.

Escape to the SpaDespite the lack of English, this is perhaps the most accessible of Tesshi-e's games. No color puzzles to confound the colorblind, and no construction to infuriate the mechanically inept. Just smooth music, a very Zen space, and lots of escaping logic to serve your casual gameplay needs. Get ready for a relaxing trip, complete with a nice hot soak waiting at the end.

Lofty TowerHave you always wanted to be an architect? Well, this colourful physics puzzle game about using Tetris-style blocks to reach your height requirements probably isn't the most realistic example of architectural design you'll find. And if you think it is, you need to let us know so we can never ever come to visit you.

Tiny CastleCalling all tiny knights! The tiny princess has been captured by the tiny wizard and is being held in his tiny castle! We need someone to go on an itty-bitty platforming adventure to rescue her while avoiding monsters, traps, and a frequently changing environment. Think you've got what it takes? All of you who aren't knee-high on a grasshopper need not apply.

Knight EliteLike being king of your castle? Best keep those orcish hordes at bay with a bit of fighting, building and training. But mostly fighting. Cover Orange: Players PackAside from an optional "acid" reskin, Cover Orange: Players Pack keeps the same mechanics as its predecessors. That's because this game contains the winners of a level design contest. There were $4000 in prizes, including a $1000 prize for the top level, which is something pretty cool to think about when you're playing it. "This single level cost $1000. Wow. I had better have a really good time." And you will

HetherdaleHetherdale is a city of legend dreamed up by a mad poet... or so scholar Heather Montrose believes until she gets an invitation to come to Africa in search of it. Choice of BroadsidesStep into the shoes of the greatest naval hero of all time... you! In this sister-sequel to the popular "Choice of Dragon" text RPG, Choice of Broadsides lets you embark on a high seas adventure ascending through the ranks of the Royal Navy and dealing with whatever life throws at you. Think carefully about your choices as they could be the difference between death and promotion.

GlueFO 3: Asteroid WarsThe mouse controls your vehicle, an unidentified, flying, and particularly adhesive object. It'll stick right onto any tiny spheroids that happen to be floating out there in the void, and firing all your stuck orbs is as simple as a click of the mouse. You'll need the projectiles to split open asteroids for cash, as well as neutralize hostile enemy fighters who have decided that, apparently, all that empty space in the universe just isn't big enough for the both of you.

Spot the DifferenceMaybe the most important thing that games teach us is to think critically and examine everything we see carefully. That's the strength of Spot the Difference, the latest offering from the dream team of Brian Mooney and Sean Hawkes. The game's story is subtle and engaging, communicated entirely through differences in the images you're given.

AlloyDespite the minor flaws, Alloy is an enjoyable escape featuring a protagonist under the witness protection program who just wants some time away from his robot guardians. The puzzles flow together logically, and the construction bit is just terribly amusing. Take some time, and enjoy the logic of the game and the illogic of the premise. So help the poor guy escape! Just, you know, watch out for the flying robot guards.

Daymare Town 3The revered series continues directly after your flight in the air balloon from Daymare Town 2. Later you find yourself in a hospital and must get out. Enigmata 2: Genu's RevengeGenu is back and wants his revenge! Who's Genu? Who cares! It's another excuse to pilot overpowered, flashy spaceships against legions of enemies in this fast-paced shooter full of big bosses, big upgrades, and big fun. Stinkoman 20X6Stinkoman 20X6, an old Videlectrix classic, follows the saga of the titular Stinkoman, an egocentric super-boxer who lives on Planet K and can never seem to keep his priorities straight. Even when his old friend, the rotund panda Pan Pan, is kidnapped, all he cares about is playing video games, eating chicken broth, and the occasional challenge.

Red Jet RabbitMan, don't you ever want to get off the launch treadmill? If only we could destroy this stupid car, we could forget about this whole getting-to-the-right business and get with that cute rabbit in the corner of the screen. Hey baby you so fine baby. Red Jet Rabbit puts you in the cartoonish driver's seat to destroy a mad scientist's car, which will win you a kiss... somehow.

enDice CompleteAn enticingly simple game of shifting dice, the challenge ramps up quickly in this exquisite puzzler from Ozzie Mercado. Each die can make a number of moves equivalent to the number on its face, and it's your job to make sure that every die ends up in one of the square-shaped "zones" by the time it's expended all of its moves. Click on a die to select it, then drag your mouse in a direction and release to slide the die in that direction.

NerveJanglaA cute little assortment of minigames and puzzles designed to test your hands and your brain, NerveJangla is short, fun, and simple. Think you can beat our best time? Show us what you've got! And remember; no frowns allowed! Otherwise, the happy donut will get you, and you don't want to see him angry.

Specter Spelunker ShrinksThe ability to change size is an oft explored trope from our favorite stories, from Alice in Wonderland to classic science-fiction films. But how many have asked what effects such an ability would have on the protagonist of classic sidescrolling platform games? That's the gist of the odd premise of Specter Spelunker Shrinks. Created by Ken Grafals, Specter Spelunker Shrinks is an experimental puzzle platformer where the ability to grow and shrink the main character is key to navigating a world of dangerous pink prisms and disparately sized passageways.

What Makes You Tick: <br />A Stitch in Time (demo)A Stitch in Time is not a traditional sequel, for it doesn't exactly pick up where the original left off. Instead, it starts a new story with a new protagonist that overlaps with the continuation of the previous story. You play Nigel Trelawney, just arrived at the town of Ravenhallow to settle his late, estranged father's estate. You quickly discover that this is no simple matter, as Ravenhallow has been overtaken by a sort of parochial Fascisti that, among other injustices, is making it really bothersome to move freely about town. The demo covers the introduction and first act of the full game, which is quite a bit of adventure game to sample.

The Challenging StageThink you know games? Think you know games when their only representation is obscure and abstract imagery? Across decades and platforms, The Challenging Stage is a single screen test of puzzles and trivia where you have to guess the titles of 56 games, new and classic, from the weird images used on screen.

Starlight 2Starlight, starbright, let me solve some puzzles tonight! Use your mouse to rotate the sky and uncover the images hidden in the constellations. Stepping up the difficulty from the original, Starlight 2 not only offers a level editor for you to make your own creations, but an additional quiz mode for you to test your eyes at.

Exit Not FoundSometimes, when you're having a bad case of the mid-week blahs, whimsy is a good thing. Exit Not Found is not a very tough room escape title, but something fun and involving that will bring a smile to your face as you search for that elusive exit. It's an amusing way to kill 5 or 10 minutes, something to take your mind off of schoolwork, lousy weather, or whatever mind-numbing task is occupying you this week.

BobulousOh, Captain Bobulous! Why must you love the princess and not me?! I would never make you fend off intruders while avoiding spikes, snakes, meteors, and anything bigger than you are! A green alien is the unlikely hero of this fast paced arcade game of reflexes. Collect energy to grow bigger, just don't get too attached to your dashing green hero... not only is he rather fragile, but his heart belongs to another. *sniff!*

I Don't Even GameEnemies of lolspeak beware, this side-scrolling puzzler may not be for you. Keep going right despite the attempts of little old ladies, pirates, ninja, teh spikies, and much more. Sound easy? You might be surprised. Pay attention to your surroundings and think outside the box and you'll pass every challenge. Probably.

Imperfect BalanceWhat more can be done in the world of precarious manipulations of gravity and inertia? Enter Imperfect Balance, the newest game in the series, which flips the Perfect Balance concept on its head. It's not about perfect construction, but about perfect collapse.
