Almost every student has been berated by their parents for playing games when they were supposed to be studying. Most parents still believe that games are a distraction and sure recipe for disaster. And we all believed this theory too - until recently.

Notice, that this week will not be posted Weekday Puzzle. Instead, we have two perfect escapes - this one, and on Friday I'll post another one.

Clay games tend to be sweet and cute - they usually remind of of a childhood and kindergardens. You may even recall a clay smell and smeared fingers...well, not this time. The Colorbomb's game isn't childish. Something sinister is hidden underneath...

Crafting and scavenging have become a popular feature in video games for quite some time now, and most survival and role-playing games today include some form of crafting in their gameplay. Even though games such as Resident Evil and Survival Kids helped introduce these concepts in the late 1990s, it wasn't until the early 2010s that crafting and scavenging became major features in gameplays, especially with the release of Minecraft and Arma 2's mod DayZ.

Do you think the ocean is a beautiful, astonishing place? Well, be prepared to get a cold, harsh-flavored truth pie thrown into your face.

Swallow the Sea is a weirdly charming and wickedly twisted short game developed by Maceo bob Mair and Nicolas Delgado. In this game, you're following the journey of a humble egg cell called Burros as it travels across a bloated sea of bizarre and anthropomorphic fish--we can all relate to this, right? Of course!

Halloween is getting closer and that means ghosts, and because we are in Rinnogogo's universe, cute ghosts. Also cute kittens - poetic Rinnogogo's escape tells a story about a curious kitty. His mum did tell him to be careful but the kitty was too curious, maybe, and a bit naughty...

Geometric Sniper: Blood in Paris is the second installment of the Geometric Sniper series, serving as the first game's prequel. It was developed and published by YAW studios. Just like the first game, your job is to assassinate targets in a geometrical, black-and-white town. However, you won't have to play the first game to understand Blood in Paris's plot (ah, the benefits of a prequel...)

Weekday Puzzle (1).jpeg

Welcome to Weekday Puzzle!

MrNannings's puzzle has a simple goal and simple rules, yet it's fun to play it. All you need to do to clear a level is to send blocks to their places by one click and avoid a collision between them. The correct order is the key. In Babarageo's RPG you need to get through vast dungeons and fight spiders and rats there, and in Rocket Raw's short adventure you just have one modest wish, sadly not so easily fulfilled. To get home.

Have a good time and enjoy!

With Amajeto you are trapped inside a boutique and to escape, you need to explore it properly. Follows fresh and original escape by Fluffy OFF, and thankfully it has an English option. Seems that Selfdefiant's decided to let you escape from all US states, one by one - this week it's Alabama and Arizona. See you in Arkansas next week!

Have a good time and enjoy!

Welcome to Mobile Monday!

Bart Bonte's games are always fun - this time we've got a physics game which mechanism is simple and many players may remeber it from browser version(s). It's sweet and crispy - it's sugar, sugar! Magical Goro Sato escape is original and unique as all their games, and Factory.112 (kouhei toyoshima) is a guarantee of quality (last week was the game presented as the bonus for iOS users). The bonus by hoshin is a simple but interesting standard escape.

All games are free and available in Google Play and in Apple Store except he bonus game (available in Google Play only)..

The first is a game with levels, the second and the third game is medium-sized, the bonus game relatively short.

Weekday Puzzle (1).jpeg

Welcome to Weekday Puzzle!

For a start, we have NoaDev's arcade game controlled by one finger only,. Then come two games where collaboration is the key - Rob Alvarez's puzzle platformer from their archive and Tail Clap Games's puzzler. In the first one you switch between three blobs and need to figure out where to use each of them, and in the second one you need to decide which part of a labyrinth can your knight pass on his own and where to let him die.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Hello, Weekday Escape just arrived!

TomoLaSiDo's latest game is mostly about numbers and playing with them, and clever puzzles with a twist require unusual thinking. The same can be said about short and atmospheric escape by kurosan - to figure out their hints isn's easy. Esklavos is back after several years with a new escape as we were used to - yay - and it feels so good to play it. There are two bonuses this week, by Dassyutu and Akatsuki no Yado, the first one with a bit confusing controls and the second one with a language barrier.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Weekday Puzzle (1).jpeg

Welcome to Weekday Puzzle!

We start with playful and inovative tVeratti's puzzler, and then move on to a puzzle platformer by reliable Rob Alvarez. His game is well executed and not the easiest one - higher levels need much planning and sometimes are controls a bit oversensitive for small movements. You can always restart a level though. The last comes a visual novel for players interested in afterlife and cat lovers (but not only them) by Niv. It's a long game for the whole evening and can take several hours.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Hi! Wishing you sunny Wednesday with the latest Weekday escape!

This Weekday Escape features three very short escapes - two by Gotmail and one by Selfdefiant - then one short but nice one by Amajeto, and two bonuses. The first by isotronic has a time limit, the second one by recyclable garbage slight problems with controlling...but that's all what we got this week.

Have a good time and enjoy!

An odd problem, but a real one is being a cat lover and a game lover and having the hardest time finding the perfect game that blends the two. If we are talking about the AAA segment, high-budget games that focus solely on cats (not other types of animals) are practically non-existent (until the upcoming Stray game is released).

For a game that focuses so strongly on photography, Life is Strange sure lets you miss a lot of interesting opportunities for a picture. Each episode has ten optional photos you can take. You'll unlock an achievement after every photo you take, but there's no bigger in-game reward. Still, why pass up the chance to fill out Max's portfolio and play this wonderful game even just a moment longer? So here's where you'll find the locations of the ten optional photos in Life is Strange: Episode 1.

Crush Crush starts fast and with severe injury.

If that statement gave you mental whiplash, then it sets you up surprisingly well for the remainder of this review, as well as the game itself.

Welcome to Mobile Monday!

One of the funniest games for mobiles, escape puzzler by itach lab (Usami Kenzo), is back and as good as its prequel. K3 arts's (Kaori Uemura) escape is quite short but very good, too. Unique Hidehiro Nakamura's work takes you to a miniature forest and lets you wander through it, and Ultrateam presents a physics game, as users friendly as possible and real relax.

All games are free and available in Google Play and in Apple Store except the bonus game.

The first game is medium-sized and has 30 standard levels plus five extra, the second game is relatively short, the third game medium-sized on a longer side and the bonus game has 60 levels.

The world has changed and large gatherings have been avoided for quite some time now. It is understood that people are cautious about physical meetups due to the hazard of being exposed to the COVID-19 virus, even with the mass vaccination drives around the world. In these times, online gaming has taken up quite a huge popularity amongst youngsters and teenagers and the theme of post-apocalyptic survival games is quite appealing in the current setting as well.
