This Weekday Escape features three very short escapes - two by Gotmail and one by Selfdefiant - then one short but nice one by Amajeto, and two bonuses. The first by isotronic has a time limit, the second one by recyclable garbage slight problems with controlling...but that's all what we got this week.

Two Gotmail's micro escapes have polished graphics as usual and a bit messy puzzles, especially #37. Also, when you unlock the door, step back to open it.

Selfdefiant's escape has only few puzzles to solve but several scenes. You are supposed to find the key to the boat to sail away and hopefully you have warm clothes on - if not you may not be able to finish even a short game...it's freezing!

Summer Barbecue
Amajeto's escapes have changed and it's a pleasant change! Puzzles are as solid as always but the graphics improved a lot and this game is really good looking. And fun.

Bonus game 1: Escape or Die 2 is a sequel to Escape or Die by isotronic which you find in WE N°302. You get a time limit to leave a room in one piece and since the place is dark and clues a bit vague, it could take more than one try to succeed.

Bonus game 2: I Want to Play an Escape Game by recyclable garbage is a good escape but has some issues which effect playability - you need to click everywhere (preferably twice) since some hotspots are hard to find, once an item seems to disappear from your inventory (a stool - but it didn't, it shows from a different angle), and keeps you wondering about texts in Japanese. You don't need to understand, though.

or is it something else? None of those work. I'm sure there is some helpful info in the text.

I have the following items
scissors
water bottle
stool
which allows me to place in the TV scene and press the red button high on the wall.
You can turn the stool over and there is a place for a key.
But I cannot find what happens when the red button is pressed. And where to use the water bottle.
I searched for some kind of walk through but none exist for these games hosted by Dosshutsu.

You are right about CLICK EVERYWHERE!
The left side of the TV is a place for a 4 digit number and no the numbers on the lights don't work.
There is something yellow behind the two drawer thing. But you can't reach it.
Is there some secret to using the numbers on the lights in each scene?
Any help would be appreciated. I am about to decide that No, I do not want to play an escape game.

Found some things.
1 battery, need 2
1 remote, needs 2 batteries
1 key used on the bottom of the table / stool
0 table / stool - it disappeared after using key
Click on the stick in inventory, it has an unusual tip. I haven't found where to use that yet.

I did some clicking on the side of the TV. Got a something that my mad / crazy clicking turned into a table / stool? I still haven't figured out what that red button does but now I can reach it again.

I don't know what happened.
Maybe the table / stool was still in inventory. Make sure to notice the "arrow" next to your inventory. When the four spaces get filled up, you click that and the next four items will display. Right now I have two sections with items and a third section that has the table.
Now I have a black square / rectangle with some white rectangle shapes. I haven't found where to use that either.
I'm confused.

I think I see it.
The black rectangle with white shapes looks like it could be a 4 digit number.

This number does not work on the drawer. The only other place to enter a 4 digit number is above the thing that has bolts. But when I click that, it gives me a choice to go to a website or not.
I still haven't found a use for the stick with odd end. Still don't know the significance of the numbers on the light bulbs. What does the red button activate?

I also noticed some special techniques when using inventory.
You need two batteries. They are found separately. So they occupy two slots in inventory. You cannot place each one into the remote. Select one of the battery's to view it. Then go to the other battery and select it to use with the battery in view. This will place both batteries together. Then they can be placed in the remote.

Also regarding items in the inventory...
No matter how illogical it may seem, try combining unlikely items. For example:
Remember the stick that when viewed and clicked shows a odd end? This is combined with a newer item in your inventory.
Combine the stick while viewing with the screw driver.
Try everything!

Stuck again.
I now have a stick with a screw driver attached to the end. I cannot find a place or a thing to use it on. There are no "up" arrows for a place that is too high. They cannot be separated once they are joined.
And I still haven't found what the red button activates.
Puzzled in Puzzleville.

Sometimes items show back up in the game after you have gotten and used them.
You can go back to the clock and get another battery. It goes into the inventory but you can't put it back in the clock. Nor will it go into the remote.

Well found something.
Finally found a place to use the stick and screwdriver.
Click on the light above the TV (it has the number 1 on it) with the stick screw driver selected. A gray panel will display. So far I have not found another item in my inventory that works on the panel.
Stuck again .

click the lamp (nr.1) - its cable
you can see a ceiling with a trapdoor now
and you can use your screwdriver on the stick
and when the trapdoor is opened
push the red button
4red3s, trust me ... if you look closely, you'll see the light at the end of the tunnel.
here's a small hint...
there's another place to use the screwdriver.
and in this spot, it works whether it's attached to the stick or not.
a slightly bigger hint...
check the top of the 2-drawer cabinet.
this was one of the the trickier spots to find for me, along with the one above the lightbulb.
I don't think I will bother with those Gotmail Micro Escape games any more. It's bad enough having to hunt for the hotspots, but some of the puzzle logic makes no sense at all. Honestly, who would ever think of
using scissors to cut a screwdriver in half?
Those graphics might be quite well done, but the gameplay is just too frustrating to be enjoyable.
Hooda Escape Alaska 2022 has got to be the fastest Selfdefiant game I've ever blazed through—done in 116 seconds! 😲
An Amajeto game moved outdoors—cool! Only stumbled over the six-button puzzle. That clue and another are well-hidden in one particular scene, so look closely! Love these Amajeto games!
(But a summer barbecue in October? 😄)

The End. But now I don't want it to end. This was the cutest, frustratingest, funny, quite a few haha moments, challenging, and even the tiny glitches were fun. I even went back and picked up the table to not leave it behind.
It's been a long long time since I spent this much time on an escape game. Thank you chrpa! It was worth every second. My world is brighter today because of this tiny little journey.
