Popopop 2 Who doesn't like popping stuff? Come on, seriously, every time you come across a piece of bubble wrap, soap bubbles in the sink, or a bunch of balloons held aloft by a happy little kid in the park, you just can't resist the urge. See bubble, must pop. Popopopop (or Popopop 2 as my right pinky will insist on typing it) plays on this instinct of ours just like the original Popopop and the Bloons series does. Only now instead of rampant popping, you have do do things with a little bit of strategy.

Full Moon Bart Bonte has given us a stylishly-designed and enjoyable, bunny filled way to have a little fun and waste a little time. Clean, stylish, and polished, Full Moon is a fantastic casual gameplay experience.

Lunar Rainbow Room Escape Although dark, brooding, atmospheric, scary, or slam-your-head-against-the-desk hard room escapes are always fun, in the middle of the week it's nice to kick back and enjoy something simpler. A nice break from the everyday that won't take up the entire day (or even the entire break, if you're really quick). So sit back, relax, and enjoy a cappuccino of an escape game. With colorful sprinkles!

Circulate Circulate is a physics puzzle game from Pi Eye Games, creator of System Mania and the far-too-cute Kitten Sanctuary. This simple title is built around moving marbles through a circular container so they disappear, whether that be through forming matches, falling into black holes, or even smacking into bombs.

Elementals: The Magic Key Elementals: The Magic Key is a hidden object adventure hybrid that not only gets the item finding sessions right, it also delivers a wonderfully complete battle system that plays out like a turn-based strategy game.

The Control Panel The Control Panel is an oldie but a goodie. Despite its age the game is a tight, well-constructed puzzle solving treat. Stripped of everything that usually accompanies a puzzle of this sort, no story, no background, no instructions, be prepared to sit back and let the gameplay blow your mind (and perhaps cause a concussion, if you end up banging your head against the nearest flat surface in frustration).

Rob Allen's Banner Game Revisited Have you been looking for a way to replay (or perhaps play for the first time) the banner game that Rob Allen created for us a couple years ago? When we updated the site layout moving to a larger, wider format, we temporarily lost the ability to swap stylesheets. But now it's back! Just click the image above to switch the stylesheet over to the one that includes the banner game. Click it again to switch it back.

Hidden Expedition: <br />Devil's Triangle Hidden Expedition: Devil's Triangle is a gorgeous, fun, mind-bending casual gameplay ride. Fans of the old series should not be disappointed, and folks new to the Hidden Expedition games can enjoy as well. And, of course, any old fuddy-duddies (like me) who remember the days of the classic adventure game should enjoy the nostalgia of a point-and-click done right.

Any and all clickable hot spots are highlighted with little white circles, drawing your attention to anything you might need to solve the situation at hand.

Picma Picma takes picross to dizzying new heights, and satisfies the never-ending craving familiar to picross addicts. The game lends itself well to the casual gameplay experience, being something you can do on a coffee break or when you have a few free minutes to solve a puzzle or two. Head to the site and solve one or two puzzles, or settle in for a marathon and solve until your eyes bleed, it is up to you. But definitely play Picma and enjoy the experience!

Spectro Destroyer At first glance, Spectro Destroyer could be one of any number of platform shooters. Run and gun through the levels, taking out alien scum and robotic sentries trying to halt your progress. Then you realize there's more to this than shooting everything in sight. It's more like line-of-sight. In fact, Spectro Destroyer is just the opposite of the "shoot first, ask questions later" side-scrollers like Metal Slug and Abuse. Instead, it's an amalgam of a platform shooter and a physics puzzle. And that, my friends, is a lot of fun.

Emergency Exit Sign and <br />Game in Game in Game This time around I scavenged up a pair of small but entertaining room escape packages from a Japanese developer called No1Game. The first, Emergency Exit Sign, tells the story of a Japanese all-night worker who just about lives at his office, which becomes a problem when a monster traps him inside. The second, Game In Game In Game, shows us a rather obsessed escape fanatic who plays a room escape game every day before bed, only to wake up one morning trapped in one.

Huje Tower Huje Tower is a construction game, a member of a fairly new genre of puzzle games. Most construction games end up being bridge-building or tower building games. But there are a number of differences that help Huje Tower stand on its own as a fun and challenging construction game with some puzzle elements to it.

Springen The goal of Springen, the latest physics puzzle on the block, is to get every red ball on the black ring, or at least as many as you need to progress to the next level. The majority of the puzzles require crafty feats of ball-flinging, and you'll have to learn to use some of the obstacles to your advantage if you hope to make it through all 30 levels of phuzzling goodness. The balls are heavier than they look, and when you add a wealth of bumpers, gravity wells, and other gizmos between you and the ending hoop, some of the puzzles test your luck as well.

Make It Good Make It Good is a dark, noir-esque detective mystery from Fail-Safe author Jon Ingold. You are cast in the role of a down-on-his-luck detective struggling to solve a murder case or risk losing his job. Moving about a complete, living world, you'll turn over every potted plant, scrutinize every room, and question every character as you attempt to stitch together shards of information to discover just what happened.

Escape from Blender <br />Art Gallery Although most experienced gamers could blow through this in 10 minutes or less, slow down, take your time. Enjoy the headache-inducing clash of carpeting and wall patterns, contemplate the meaning of the displays, or just gaze at the monkey head and wonder, is that post modern or post-post-modern? Dali or Dada? Stay in the game too long and you will half expect dripping clocks to appear across a landscape. Perfect for casual gameplay, Escape from Blender Art Gallery is a fun break from whatever you are doing. Just remember afterwords, it was only a dream.

Alice is Dead: Episode One The first in a creepy new point-and-click series set in a Wonderland a few degrees off from the one you may recall. Copy Cat: A Painter's Puzzle A lot of games cast you as a criminal. It's fun to flirt with the dark side, flaunting the rules, casting off the ethical concerns that imprison the weak and cowardly. Protonaut Protonaut is best described as a platform physics puzzler: a platformer covered in a velvety layer of physics, served with a generous dosage of puzzler. The premise of the game is fairly simple: you are a small character (presumably the Protonaut), tasked with collecting all of the gaseous elements in each level. Run, jump, and shoot projectiles to solve each level's puzzle.

Yes, it's a brand new point-and-click adventure from Pastel Games! Despite an abrupt ending and a fluctuating difficulty level, this is a fine game to eat up fifteen minutes of your time.

Seven This surreal platformer by Makibishi Inc. drops you unceremoniously into a world gone absolutely loony. As it turns out, stars are the cogs by which time ticks in this universe, and as fate would have it (as it often does), those stars have been scattered to the ends of the earth. You, a fearless yellow blockhead, must gather up the missing stars in hopes of setting things right in the world again, or at least as right as things get in that place. Which isn't very right at all.

Saunavihta A frothing geyser of black vapor lies somewhere in every level, and it's up to you to send the shivering little protagonist tumbling into the miasma. The game's kind enough to tuck a decidedly useful trick up your sleeve: white objects can be disintegrated with but a single click of the mouse.

Disk Field Disk Field is a simple yet engrossing action puzzler that works wonders with a fairly basic concept. Your goal is to guide your black and white disk into the red hole. But instead of controlling the disk directly, you rotate the arrows on the field of play, like an undulating topographical map.

Purism A previous project from FonGeBooN, Purism follows the same formula we're used to: you're stuck in a room, and you have to solve all manner of puzzles to get out of it. Some noticeable features of this particular room include some unusual panels in the walls, a door with no handle, a small chest of drawers, some metallic shelves, and a sculpture with many red, blue, and yellow balls. All of these will be instrumental in your ultimate departure.

Warp Shot Warp Shot is what would happen if aliens from an advanced civilization came to Earth and decided golf wasn't awesome enough and needed more gravity wells, black holes, and rockin' guitar solos. From John Cooney and Armor Games comes a quirky little physics puzzle game where you sling a spot of light across a play field to reach the exit, collecting orbs and avoiding nuisances like gravitational pull along the way.

Lock 'n' Roll We are grateful to James Prucey for this marvel of a game; With its mix of luck and strategy, it's never quite the same; Though it used to need an iPhone, now we all can praise its name; Oh Lock 'n' Roll, ROCK ON!

Splitter 2 The basic premise remains unchanged: your charge, a yellow smiley face with eyes eerily glued to your mouse, must make its way to the exit circle in each level one way or another. All you've got are whatever contraptions are lying around the level, your wits, and a cursor that can slice right through solid wood like it was string cheese.

Prism for Free! If large file adventures are not your thing, here is a special freebie treat for Windows users today: the colored light puzzle game, Prism, can be yours absolutely free.

Galactic Commandos You control three different characters: a hulking heavy weapons master, a stealthy ninja scout, and a shield-bearing defense specialist. They are the Galactic Commandoes, and they're here to solve a series of platform/puzzle levels using their unique strengths and abilities! Yeah, teamwork!

Knightfall 2 This crazy mash-up of RPG and color-matching puzzle is gorgeous, fun, and addictive. Destroy groups of blocks and rotate the puzzle grid to fight monsters by falling on them from above with your drill lance spinning. Bigger and better than the first Knightfall in every way, with a fleshed-out story, creative boss battles, and more ways to build your character, Knightfall 2 is what a sequel should be.

Moonlights Moonlights gives you World of Goo-like building tools, a simple star-speckled background, and soothing music. Then it asks you to build a tower to the moon. With several different kinds of building surfaces, an accessible level editor, and a meditative tone, this is one of the most laid-back construction games around.

Pure Hidden Pure Hidden is designed to be a hidden object game unlike any other. There is no story, no mystery to solve, no thinly-veiled plot designed to accommodate the endless locating of things that have nothing to do with the story, much less the surroundings. Pure Hidden takes a very zen-like approach to the hidden object genre. The games exist to be played, not to serve any external plot or characters. It makes the entire process of playing a relaxing, soothing experience.

Plexus Puzzles Puzzles these days a little too easy for you? Don't have enough of a headache when you're finished with one? Longing for something with pieces that look like they lost a fight with a pair of rampaging scissors? Not anymore! Plexus and SmartKit present three puzzles designed to challenge your eye. Rotate the pieces to make them fit and try to think outside the box as you solve these three different themes.

Red Remover The title sounds like the name of a top-secret Cold War superweapon, or perhaps a very specialized brand of bleach, but Red Remover has nothing to do with either Soviets or stains. Instead, this latest offering from Gaz charges you with the task of removing all of the melancholy red blocks in a level while keeping all the exuberant greens.

Program the rabbit by recording and tweaking its movements, in this odd little platformer by John Cooney.

Fragger Grenades and baddies and physics, oh my! Adjust your angle to lob grenades from a limited supply at waiting targets to get the best scores and achievements you can across thirty levels and three difficulty settings. Why do they look so happy about getting blown up? Who knows! Just remember; pull the pin, then throw it. It's okay. We get that messed up all the time, too. You should see our offices.

No! Not the Ghostbusters! Reemus and Liam are back to save the day, eventually, in the third chapter of this point-and-click saga from Ringmaster of Weirdness, Zeebarf. "Ghostbusters". Honestly.

The Freewill Cycle: Volume 1 The first part of a trilogy, The Freewill Cycle: Volume 1 is in essence a simple point-and-click escape game created in classic adventure game style. You awake in a room. Could be in a spaceship, could be in a space station, could be just a strange building in East Podunk, Michigan. As you explore the story unfolds, giving, in a few short clues, a vivid account of what may have happened and the personalities of the people involved. Who, by the way, are mysteriously missing.

Incredibots 2 Mini-Brawl In our inaugural entry for a brand new feature, You Are Games, we are highlighting the latest from Grubby Games: Incredibots 2! The Fun Fair It has been much longer than 8 days (more like 3 years) since Anode & Cathode had us sleuthing the case of The Poison Coffee, adventuring around The Casino, or meandering through The Museum. Today they send us on another adventure in a similar style, The Fun Fair (Part 1 of what looks to be another episodic game like their last game, 8 Days).

Kidnapped by Aliens In Kidnapped by Aliens, previously unsung developer Selfdefiant tells the story of a human protagonist who has been kidnapped, and awaits who-knows-what from his captors. By the use of a little ingenuity, our hero manages to escape his cell and explore more areas of the UFO that contains him, with the ultimate goal of returning to Earth... perhaps. The surreal but perfect background sound and puzzles that make sense without being too obvious turn this game into an enjoyable experience.

Bango! If you were to ask us, "What is Bango?" we could say a lot of things. "A board game! A breakfast cereal! The newest pop music superstar!" But of course, since Bango! is actually a puzzle platformer, we would be dirty rotten liars. Race across blocks that plummet behind you, trying to clear the screen of them without falling yourself. It's harder than it sounds, and with an extra five levels each of "extra-hard" and "frustrating" difficulty, it's a challenge for everyone!

Laserworx Move your laserspots to light up all your lasercells in Laserworx, a tile-based puzzle game about lasers. The laserbeam between two laserspots will energize any lasercells it touches, but will be nullified if it hits a laserwall. Wait, that doesn't need a "laser" in front of it. They're just regular walls.

Phantom Mansion 2: <br />The Arabian Sea Sail the globe in search of treasure, push crates, dodge the cutest little itsy-bitsy monsters, unlock doors, ride magic carpets over a spiraling vortex of horror. Use Boxmen In Greg Sergeant's aptly titled puzzle platformer, Use Boxmen, you, believe it or not, use boxmen to collect boxes. It sounds fairly simple and straightforward, but it's not, really. Some puzzles require you to think outside the box to reach their oftentimes very clever solution. Solving puzzles is only half the battle, however, as Use Boxmen takes its platforming element very seriously.

Mystic Mine Mystic Mine is a track-switching action-puzzle game. Much like classics such as Candy Train and the current iPhone offering Trains, you must switch tracks ahead of your mine car, which is always in motion.

Grow (ver. 3) Remake On of Eyezmaze has just released an updated 'remake' of his original Grow game, Grow (ver. 3), the game that inspired so many sequels and clones. It's one of the most unique and amazing Flash games ever produced, due mostly to its intricate animations and myriad combinations of possible outcomes. Now with 2 endings!

Dynamic Systems Dynamic Systems, created by Lorenzo Nuvoletta, is another in a long line of games first made popular by The Incredible Machine, where you must fabricate an overly elaborate system of simple machines to perform a task that would hardly impress a toddler: putting a ball in a bucket.
