It's Friday and after a long time we have a new escape game from a new developer Tiny Carnival. Not long, true, but the puzzles aren't exactly easy and getting out takes some time. Make yourself a cup of coffee or tea and have a good time with the game!

Weekday Puzzle (1).jpeg

Welcome to Weekday Puzzle!

Lovely autumn game by Jon Topielski stands on the border of an escape and puzzle game, and definitely worth a try. Sid Fish's is Sokoban-like puzzler with an interesting concept, and then come two rather original games - mysterious adventure with symbols by Le Slo and puzzle solving action by octo_rain.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Hi! New Weekday Escape just arrived!

Selfdefiant wants you to escape Wyoming and that is the end of state escapes. It's about time. Amajeto delivered a new game, a bit shorter, but fun anyway, and tomoLaSiDo wants you to escape from the room with several strange devices. You can take with you two sunflower seeds - if you find them, of course. The escape by KimsGames wants you to escape a house and also understand what's going on there, and in the bonus game by Dassyutu you'll try to escape ancient ruins.

No puzzle games in this WE. Weekday Puzzle will be posted tomorrow.

Have a good time and enjoy!

If you're a fan of deck-builders, turn-based strategy games, and rogue-lites, you're in for a treat.

Lost in Fantaland is all three of those things, and it's just arrived on Steam Early Access.

Available at an introductory price of $11.89, Lost in Fantaland is a slick-looking pixel-art adventure that sees you exploring randomly generated maps on a vast and mysterious continent.

Welcome to Mobile Monday!

Let's visit Nicolet's village again - one of its inhabitants decided to make a nice time with a book and needs your help. Then, with Room's Room (Daichi Simada), we spend a good while in a traditional Japanese inn with a spa under the full moon. Devs from Jammsworks (Jammsworks Inc.) take us for a holiday to Vietnam, and it's a long adventure!

All games are free and available in Google Play and in Apple Store.

Notice, that Mobile Monday is not posted regularly due to low availability of free good games.

Building a game is one of the software developer's most refined skills. The right tools, however, play a massive role in how successful such a person will be. Due to its vast prospects and benefits, Linux is gradually becoming a safe haven for most developers. Utilizing this operating system to create a video game is now almost a necessity. The growing interest has continued to draw more developers to Linux.

Hi! Weekday Escape and Weekday Puzzle are here!

We are almost done with Selfdefiant's state escapes, just one is left. Luckily, Amajeto's series Blue Islands continues and I hope we have many more chapters to come - this one is very enjoyable. Original Coconuts Park's series has several dozens of chapters so if they continue with remakes, we also have something to look forward to.

Garuda Games puzzler is basically The Snake with a few changes and additions, and from Kultisti we've got another strongly atmospheric action jumping game. The last is racing game by ThePetersons - go chicken go!

Have a good time and enjoy!

No new good game out this week and not enough new chapters in the series Monkey Go Happy to make a roundup. I decided to fill the gap between Roundup 22 (published on November 11, 2017) and Roundup 23 (February 13, 2021) and post the older chapters of Monkey Go Happy. I've thought about this before and was helped by the comments under a recent WE (thanks!).

Welcome to the Roundup 53 - Retro with four games! After you catch the ten monkeys in the chapter, look in the inventory. You will find a code there and note it down - after four chapters there is a bonus where you need all four codes. To get to the bonus, click on the "next stage" arrow after completing the Stage 216.

Hi! Weekday Escape and Weekday Puzzle are here!

We again start with Selfdefiant's state escape - there are only few left - and then we find ourselves in a tiny and lovely room by Gamedesign.jp (Skipmore) with clever puzzles and nice retro looks. TomoLaSiDo's escape challenge has three rooms and is longer than their standard ones - no need to say that there are more puzzles, too.

We have three puzzlers this week - the first one by Chris Klimowski which can be a bit addictive - it's basically the match 3 theme, but what you do is piling color palindroms. Interesting. Then you go for a bit of fishing in retro game by RhytmLynx, and the last is resurrected cute puzzler from 2007 by Gamedesign.jp (Taro Ito) about a cat.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Weekday Puzzle (1).jpeg

Welcome to Weekday Puzzle!

The tomoLaSiDo's game is not an escape - you are supposed to solve puzzles on cans and open them then. A couple of them were published earlier in Weekday Escapes under name Motto Akeru; it was always one can - now we've got a full vending machine! John Vanderhoef's point'n'click game is short and fun, and then we've got two variations on well known theme - mirrors-and-lasers puzzler by AliAlAni and sorting colorful liquids by Blury Studio.

Have a good time and enjoy!

First-person shooter games, like Valorant, have become gamers' favorite pastimes. As exciting as these games are, they can be overwhelming for beginners who lack experience in shooting games. Shooting games are not as difficult as they look. Of course, your score in these games depends on your aim, but other factors matter too. For instance, your choice of weapon, the ability to track your enemy down, and how you place the crosshair on the target are a few things that will determine your success in FPS games.

Hi! Weekday Escape is here!

Life in Coconuts Park's Southern Islands isn't boring - Glynn, the turtle, recently escaped and you need to find it. Hopefully it diddn't get far on its short legs. Selfdefiant returns with a new haunted asylum, and then you find yourself locked in the room by Escapegamemaker. The last comes Esklavos with pirate point'n'click adventure from Carribean. Ahoy!

No puzzle games in this WE. Tommorow will be posted Weekday Puzzle.

Have a good time and enjoy!

There are a lot of exciting and entertaining games being put out by game companies nowadays, but only a few of them can stand the test of time. Students make up a greater percentage of gamers because a majority of them play these games to ease stress and pass time

Often computer games are perceived as something non-educational, especially by fathers. In their opinion, kids can better spend less time at the computer. But this gap in the perception of technology should not affect the desire of children to play in the game because it's a separate world that has become our routine.

Two years ago Rinnogogo released the escape MOMO (published in WE N°251, still playable) and now we've got the game's remake. It's different - the graphics are new, the soundtrack as well, some puzzles have changed, some stayed (almost) the same and some are completely new. Overall it feels more like a new game - depends how good your memory is, though.

Yonashi's games are always good - they have simple and clean graphics and clever puzzles, and it usually takes a while to figure them out. This one isn't an exeption - and as always, features cute animals and one sleepy angel.
