Gaming with a VPN is pretty awesome - you can play on the same servers as your friends, reduce ping (sometimes), get early access to some games, play censored games, and stop your ISP from throttling your gaming bandwidth.

There's just one drawback, though - the speeds. VPNs slow down your Internet speeds, and it's sometimes noticeable while gaming. And yes, even the best VPNs to use when gaming online do that.

Is there anything you can do about that?

Actually, there is. We'll show you how to improve your VPN speeds while gaming in this guide.

Weekday Puzzle (1).jpeg

The first puzzler by Matt Ugh and Connor Grail is charming, simple and fun. In the well executed platformer by Noa Dev with strong retro vibe you can jump a lot (if you feel an urge). The Sokoban-like puzzler by competor is a dreamy slow game where you just wander around snowy islands and build bridges between them.

Have a good time and enjoy!

senya1.pngOnce upon a time, Senya, a knight, got a message - in fact, a cry for help - from an imprisoned princess. He set on a rescue journey immediately, as a true hero, and on his way (before he arrived to dangerous areas) changed all his belongings for a cat. He lost his armor and weapons, but he had a pet! Well...need to say, a very special pet. Oscar is a cat wizard and his skills are interesting indeed. Are you ready for an adventure? You can start righ now!

Perfect Tower 2 is a Frankenstein's monster of a game (in a good way). It is part tower defense, part idle game, and part management sim. It's an ambitious sequel to the original Perfect Tower, developed by Fire Sword Studios.

PT2 expands upon the original Perfect Tower, and it makes a number of changes -- some of which we really enjoyed. Others, not so much.

The voxel aesthetic of Perfect Tower 2 is used to great effect, and the way its visual style integrates into the loose narrative world is a nice detail (looking at you, Cubos). Additionally, seeing your block city grow as you unlock new features feels gratifying.

The basic tower defense formula remains more or less the same. Having the player upgrade a central tower, defending against enemy cube monsters. While Perfect Tower 2 does make some changes to this formula, not all of these changes elevated the fun factor.

Masa's escapes have always been easily recognizable. Their clean and clear graphics haven't changed much during all the years and makes orientation in the rooms, moving around them and handling items so easy. This one isn't an exception. It's pleasant and clever escape with intuitive puzzles. We've got another excellent game, yay!

Weekday Puzzle (1).jpeg

All three games featured this week are not demanding platformers; the puzzle and strategic elements in all three are more important. The first game by Robert Alvarez plays with physics in an amusing and original way, and Ferociter's platformer with beautiful ending has many original features too. The latest game by havana24 has very interesting concept and the visual aspect too.

Have a good time and enjoy!

header.jpg In a genre quickly becoming oversaturated, Nova Drift rises above the rest. A roguelike top down shooter boasting a sharp visual style and an emphasis on build variety. Nova Drift puts the player in an ever-evolving ship as they blast their way through wave after wave of neon alien troops, in a frantic dash towards high score glory.

It's like if the 1979 Atari classic Asteroids ate a billion kitchen sinks, turned into a black hole, and gained sentience. The build variety in this game is truly spectacular, allowing players the ability to customize their ships in a variety of creative ways (with a bit of luck...it is a roguelike, after all).

Do you want a glass cannon that carpet bombs the field with mines? No problem. Want those mines to release homing missiles on detonation? Sure. Not inflicting enough fire damage? Add it in! Nova Drift's systems are robust ones, to be sure. This game is a theorycrafter's dream, an achievement further underscored by the diminutive size of the development studio; it's a solo-dev, after all.

The latest Weekday Escape just arrived!

Gotmail's microescape is just for a start and follows Amajeto's one-scene room with a load of nice puzzles. Selfdefiant locks you inside a compound and it's a weird place. Hopefully you manage to find a way out until morning. In tomoLaSiDo's room are hidden rubber stoppers and six capsules, as usual. Two bonus games this week - Akatsuki no Yado's escape with a language barrier and Dassyutu's 3D game.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Welcome to PC Tuesday - this week presents chess puzzler King for a Knight by Chase of Bass!

knight4.pngIt's time to return to the Chess Kingdom. The times are restless - the last of the Great Knights fell into their trap. Upon capture, they believed they can reuse the Knight against the king. The Great Knight isn't called 'great' for nothing, though, he is the heavyweight knight and he isn't afraid to use his strength.

Have a good time with another puzzler!

Welcome to Mobile Monday!

We don't get a chance to solve a mysterious criminal case often. In Labeledman's (Vladimir Chufistov) outstanding escape we do - or precisely, we can start with it because only two chapters are available so far. One Man Game Maker Army's (Gergely Tenk) puzzle is perfect relax and Nekojiru's (Kei Ito) escape relativly short with several not very easy puzzles. The newest escape by Neat Escape is the bonus.

All games are free and available in Google Play and in Apple Store except the bonus game (available for Android devices only).

The first game consists of two chapters, both medium-sized. The second is a puzzle game with many levels, the third game is quite short, and the bonus is medium-sized.

Weekday Puzzle (1).jpeg

We start with very well done and funny adventure by Fredrik Edman. Its only flaw is the length - wish it was much longer. If you miss moving boxes you can move few in a tough puzzler by Carlos Pedroso. Golf-themed puzzler by Lycoris102, on the other hand, isn't demanding. In the eerie bonus game by Genius you need to help a man with his dog to get through a strange and unfriendly world.

Have a good time and enjoy!
