Thanks, Irashta. You're right, I just downloaded it from VertigoGaming.net and played it. Very similar. Better in some ways, not so in others. Still a good game for anyone that enjoys this type of game and is looking for more.

Finally got it. I have to say, I'm fairly disappointed in the arbitrary way you defeat the dragon, as it doesn't have anything to do with everything being maxed (if you know what I mean).

I guess by "the hut" you mean the mill, well, the trees aren't first.

This game was the best game I have ever played. Thank you for making this game.

This game was just awesome. I had so much fun attempting to figure it out. It took me and my buddy quite a few tries to figure it out, but we did it, and had fun in the process. Thanks. xD

follow that guy ...Ben i think.. ya its him

1. The dungeon goes last. 2. Your castle needs to be done quickly, lest it get burninated. 3. The tower should be placed as late as possible.

Tiredhippos top tip....the timing of the water is critical....do it as late as you can.....

Yes, the level of armor you get is equal to the level of the tower. If it's not maxxed out, the purple guy will get ya. Also, if the tower's only level 1, you get 10 gold only, no armor.

and the answer is..cuz i can get everything but one, to max..either the rocks or the tower

Wow! What a fun, intuitive game. I played with the first one, but never really got it. This one just seemed to make sense :) Great stuff!

good game, played the first one a while ago, i like the way it's been taken forward.
Got kinda frustrating after a while, i had all maxed but the mill!
Finished in the end.

wow, this is a great game, along with the origional Grow.

I love the little noise he make when he gets an item i.e. the key or orb.

hope they make more Grow games

Has anyone found an "alternate path" like in the first Grow with the alien and lightning, etc.? That would be cool, but I haven't seen one.

The first grow is hard as hell. It took forever to beat. But they are both awesome games and well worth the time. I have the answer for the first one. If anyone wants hints or the solution email me. Later.

I liked the first grow game, and this one's better! I liked the blue tree, it was very unexpected.

if you think that is hard to solve... it is harder to make.

WOOT! After 2 days off an on i finally figured it out. lol someone had said earlier that the chest went last and that threw me off! THat was great. BTW, does the first grow actualy have a purpose? I never got that one lol

the mill has 7 levels the stairs have 2
(i think )so put the mill first then the stairs last oh and remember let the devil jump 3 times before u put the water in no more no less lol i hope i am a help for those who was stuck HAPPY GAMEING PEOPLE !!!!!!!!

Finished this on the 5th try. A nice Grow variant for an old rpg fan :)

I completely agree with jay that the ending would have been much more exiting to watch without the knowledge that you already had maxed out all items.

The solution for the "Grow RPG" game is the following:

1. houses (need more time than anything else to grow)
2. trees (they need to grow a little before the devil breaks the earth and separate one of them into an island)
3. castle (just enough time to grow strong)
4. water (to stop the devil from destroying th earth)
5. tower (it will reach three levels and eventually a fourth)
6. rock (it grows only twice)
7. treasure (it grows only twice)
8. stairs (let everything else grow one more level)

What a boring and pointless game. It is all guesswork. Yahtzee involves more skill.

Finally! I tried alot, but after i looked at the hints- NOT the spoilers- i got it on my first try! thanks! i just wish there were more, intricate levels.

I beat the game!It's funny cuz i was looking for the answer here,but didn't scroll down far enough and just decided to try again and i beat it!Then after i realised the next post i didn't see was the answer!I guess it was a good thing...

This is an excellent game. Normally with things like this, it's generally hard to tell how one thing affects the others and in what order things should be placed. In Grow RPG, you can beat it in 20 minutes or so if you have good observational skills. And the fact that it uses RPG content just makes it a pleasure to play.

real cool game!!!! i just finished it tonight...sad cause this thread was a long time ago. but this game was very exciting. i found eyezmaze through my yahoo home page and found this really awsome game. i've been trying to beat it ever since when this thread started. ya a long time but it was worth the while. i just wrote the sequence down on paper and when i saw that it had maxed before the end i just switched them around and it all worked out. but the real big hint was posted a that said stairs go at end...that was really helpful. but...as have many others have done before me, i will post the correct sequence for those who are having trouble. here it is:

shop,trees,castle,water,temple,
rocks,chest,stairs

i did it all backwards and i got the following levels:
tree LVL.2
stairs LVL.1
house LVL.1
boulder LVL.MAX
chest LVL.MAX
castle LVL.0 (got burned up by purple guy)
water LVL.MAX
tower LVL.0 (got crushed by demon)

if an item is lvl 0 something happens to it (when you put an item on and it dosen't level up it is a 1er)

I won this game long time ago, and always wondered if it is possible to be killed by the demon. I mean, kill the dragon, but lose afterwards.

This is a very cute game, I liked it a lot... but there are a bunch of rude folks on here. I have played several of the games on this site, and it seems there's always someone with an attitude.

this game is so much fun, but it is best when you can hear the music! crank it up!

Heh, you know, there's so many hints up there, that if you skim through and read enough, it tells you the answer.

the devil has 18 lives but if you had a blue ball the devil has then now 10 lives

You're right in that it's not that tough, but "only" 8 is really a huge number of arrangements. Anyone who's taken a basic statistics class would tell that the way the game is set up, that's 8! combinations (8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1 = 40,320)

Okay, I won the game, but I don't know why. What is the logic behind the choices? Why does one come first and what leads us to think so? I don't seem to be grasping what clues to look for. Someone e-mail me if you know the logic of the game...not the solution, I have that, but rather why the solution is the solution.

This game is fantastic.

i found 3 glitches in the game:
1. When you open the tower you will STILL have the key in your inventory.
2. When you use the bomb to explode the boulder covering your way to the golden chest the bomb will STILL be in your inventory.
3. When you use the blue orb on the demon the ord WON'T move from your inventory
if you don't believe me try it yourself

It's been posted, but for me what helped the most is knowing that the water goes 4th!
