What are spoiler tags?

Spoiler tags are special text symbols you may place within the comments you post on JayIsGames to hide information that may ruin or "spoil" a game for someone who would rather figure it out for themself.

<spoiler> spoiler text goes here </spoiler>

Example:
Suppose you know that the password to level 7 in some game is "POOKEY", and you want to share it with anyone who might be having trouble with it. You could type the following directly into the text input field on the comments form:

For anyone who is having trouble with
the password for level 7, here
it is: <spoiler>POOKEY</spoiler>

And this is how it would show up (just click on the button to make the spoiler appear):

For anyone who is having trouble with
the password for level 7, here it is:

POOKEY

Due to the way spoilers must be stored in the database, extra line breaks are stripped from your spoiler text. You may use break tags <br> to add desired whitespace to your text for better formatting.

Please use the spoiler tags whenever you feel you might be giving away something that another person might not want to know.
