Gravinaytor While it doesn't break any new ground, Gravinaytor is a deceptively simple looking game that will have your gravity-grappling skills stretched to their limit. Flip switches to manipulate gravity and steer yourself around deadly obstacles, all in preparation for the last batch of nearly sadistic levels. Compared to the extremely simple beginning stages, the last seven to eight levels will leave you at the end of your wits.

The anticipation, wondering what you're going to get. The excitement of trying to stay up late and catch a glimpse of Santa. But in this great little Christmas escape game by 58 works, Santa does things a little bit differently.

Monkey Go Happy 3 Pencil Kids' new release in the hybrid puzzle-arcade series is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Players of previous games in the series should be familiar with the premise: a trio of monkeys is sad, and it's up to you to make them "go happy." Use the mouse to click on objects and locations, solve puzzles, shoot stuff etc. Some levels are click-fests in the Hoshi Saga model, others act like mini-escape games, others have a hidden object flavor to them, and still others are action-based. There's quite a bit of variation packed into the game's 16 levels and expansion pack. Let's monkey see what you can monkey do!

Strange Attraction Strange Attraction is a standard shooter-platformer with a slick presentation and interesting gravity elements. Endless X'mas So what do you do when St. Nick turns your living quarters into a room escape puzzler for the holidays? Naturally, you try to escape. Endless X'mas is a good sample of what room escaping should be like. The puzzles are exceedingly creative compared to most, and the graphics and music are quite nice as well, bringing everything together into a quaint atmosphere.

Cat Astro Phi You play a plucky astro-pilot in this retro-styled action adventure game, with an ill-defined though doubtlessly heroic agenda, who keeps crash-landing onto planets with hostile, labyrinthine space bases, losing your steadfast feline companion in the process. Cat Astro Phi is a nice, short action game with retro appeal, and even players who aren't the targeted allegorical Internet Citizen will find something to appreciate.

Zebulon Crafted in the style of classic 'choose your own adventure' games, Zebulon features the exploits of a somewhat wayward space crew. The story itself is relatively simple; you're the captain of a small ship that runs regular courier missions for Asmico, a delivery and service IT company. With you are your shipwright and communication officer; your shipright Hariett is a straight-laced, by-the-book stick in the mud while Reynolds, the communication officer, is unlikely to win 'Employee of the month' anytime soon. Your choices in your interactions with them, and certain events, will determine your outcome.

Bloons 2 Christmas Expansion Pack It's the Bloons 2 Christmas Expansion Pack, a gift from Ninjakiwi. Take control once again of the dart-throwing monkey (now in jaunty Santa cap) and clear the bloons, now arranged in Christmas-themed patterns that will test your puzzling skills anew.

Dismantlement: Smartphone A brand new Dismantlement game has just been released upon us, and that's usually a red letter day around here at JIG. As it's only just been released, we'll need a little time with it to write up something appropriate. In meantime, help us with a walkthrough, please? Of course we have to get through it first. You can help with that, too. :)

So join Wan and Nyan on their quest for consumer goods of an undetermined variety.

Best Friends Fighter Best Friends Fighter isn't so much a game as it is a whimsically well-designed online toy by Glitchy Pixel. In a nutshell, Best Friends Fighter is what its name implies it to be: a beat 'em up game. The only thing is, you don't any actual control over the characters. Heck, I'm not sure if the characters could even be called characters. Instead of beefy, steroid-infused men and leggy women, Best Friends Fighter pits robotic entities comprised out of many, many blocks with faces against one another.

Factory Balls Christmas Edition Factory Balls Christmas Edition has all of the fun and challenge of the regular series combined with a heartwarming and less stressful touch of the holiday season. In it you'll find Santa hats, belts, suspenders, earmuffs, and bobble hats (along with several colors of paint) to recreate various decorations on a Christmas tree. Imagia 2: The Dome Imagia 2 picks up right where Imagia 1 left us, pointing and clicking our way around a mysterious rooftop, gathering clues about just what we're trying to accomplish in the first place. If you were hoping for answers in this sequel from Kayzerfish, I'm afraid we're still in questions without answers mode. You know, like the first season of Lost, only no smoke monster. The observant player, however, should gather enough to seriously pique curiosity and we can only hope subsequent chapters will follow close behind.

Mystic Asylum Spooky rather than scary, Mystic Asylum is an escape game of chills rather than frights. Truck Loader With graffiti on the walls, funky-fresh music and a grunchy-chic environment, you'd think that Truck Loader was trying a little too hard to be cool. Super Treadmill Super Treadmill is yet another prime example of interesting Nitrome fare. It takes a not-so-simple run-and-jump game and gives it an added twist: it's an allegedly old game emulated on modern technology, bad connection and all. If you're willing to see the game through to the end, then go ahead and hop on the Super Treadmill!

Bomboozle 2 Vanilla, jeans, thunderbolts - there have been many variations and 'improvements', but nothing that beats the original. That also goes for many puzzle games and while people are less inclined to meet an old favourite during an adventure game, on their own they hit the sweet spot. That, more or less, summarises my opinion of Bomboozle 2. It might not break new ground or usher in the new era of 'pop the colors' puzzle games, but this take on a classic isn't broken either!

Modern Mystery Modern Mystery is the escape title of the week this time around. The game, naturally, begins with you trapped in a rather comfy lounge-like room. It's nicely furnished—a bit of abstract art on the walls, a potted plant, two leather chairs, a laptop computer—but you still want out by any means. Go around collecting objects, putting clues together, and solving puzzles in order to collect more objects, hopefully at some point getting one or both of those doors open and terminating your confinement.

Running Ink Running Ink, by Spelgrim, is a new paper parkour platformer with an artistic style that is uniquely inky, with drips and smears aplenty. As the work draws inspiration from free-running, momentum control and quick reactions are vital to gameplay. It doesn't have a huge amount of depth and it's a bit short, but Running Ink's visuals and gameplay make for a fun well to dip a pen in for a half-hour.

Wings of Ge.Ne.Sis Who hasn't wanted to fly? I'll tell you: penguins. They're perfectly okay with staying on land. You'll never see a penguin in an airplane, that's for sure. For all the rest of us who'd love to take to the skies, though, there's Wings of Ge.Ne.Sis, the new side-scrolling shooter from An Lieu. While the original Ge.Ne.Sis was a console-style RPG, this spinoff takes things in a whole new direction; namely, up and above!

For The Twin One of these things is just like the other. One of these things, oh it belongs. Can you tell me which thing is just like the other, before I finish this song? If you just had a flashback to a kinder, gentler time of your childhood spent in hypnotic rapture before a television, take For the Twin for a spin.

Oliver & The Basilisks Oliver & The Basilisks is a turn-based, strategy, board game where you'll take control of the wizard Oliver. Your goal is to clear each level of basilisks either by using your magic spells or by maneuvering them into each other or into deadly objects. With three modes of game play and up to 14 spells, Oliver & The Basilisks offers a lot of variety.

Reachin' Pichin Poor little Pichin can barely manage a jump, and apparently this fills its creator with disgust. In Reachin' Pichin, the debut from Malaysian game makers Kurechii, a sympathetic lab assistant helps Pichin launch up into the sky, grab all the money and gems conveniently floating around up there, and use them to evolve into something that will make its creator proud.

Bustabrain Bustabrain is a series of click or drag-and-drop minigame puzzles by Ninjadoodle. Play through 39 levels of rebuses, memory games, pattern recognitions, and others. Try to beat the game using the least number of mouse clicks possible.

Flabby Physics Flabby Physics, by Every Day the Same Dream creator Paolo Percini, is a short and simple one button physics puzzle game. The goal is pretty obvious: move the ball to the star. The method for doing this is generally pretty obvious, too: use the [spacebar] to switch positions of the various on-screen blobs. Making the magic happen, though, will take some practice.

Chromatronix If there's one thing I've learned about life, it's that lasers owe allegiance to no man. Sure, lasers might be useful for blasting extraterrestrial invaders, but chances are those same aliens are also armed with human-frying laser weaponry. Lasers are dangerous! Chromatronix, a puzzler from Lyngo Games, is a great example of this: you'll need to practice proper laser safety as you match colored beam-emitting Chromas to their proper Power Cells.

The Humans Are Dead It is the year 2000... wait, no, wrong The Humans are Dead reference. This strategic board game by Lethe Games puts you in the metal boots of one of four robot factions who move across the grid to claim resources, spawn units, create defensive structures and more in a clashing of tactical minds.

Wake Up The Box 2: <br />Office Edition Wake Up The Box 2 is a physics puzzle that has you attaching various wooden pieces to objects in order to wake up the tie-wearing Mr. Box. The game includes interesting contraptions, new gameplay elements, and a few surprises along the way. It's a solid, casual game that fans of the series and physics-aficionados should enjoy. The title feels even more refined and smoother than its predecessor. Give it a try!

Sticky Blocks Sticky Blocks, Aaron Maupin's new variation on the sokoban concept, introduces blocks that stick to each other as well as the avatar. With each move you make, your collection of blocks becomes larger and, possibly, more unwieldy, forcing you to consider every move beforehand!

Cheat Death Cheat Death is a puzzle game by Garbuz Games where you help a young man avoid turning to dust by leading him to the elixir on the other side of a cliff. This involves manipulating a series of floating tetris-like blocks and dragging them into a specific area. Once formed, the man will hike across the path, reach the elixir, regain his youth, and "cheat death" until the next level.

Backgammon (DHTML) Thomas Weibel's Backgammon is fun, challenging, rock-steady, and doesn't suffer from its super-simple presentation. The game assumes you are familiar with how to play backgammon, so novices might benefit from a quick tutorial found elsewhere on the Web. It's the classic game of Backgammon against a computer AI right in your browser.

Rosetta Escape Original, enjoyable, and in some respects different from many of the samey room escape games out there, Rosetta Escape is a fantastic way to while away your time in the middle of the week. Although the game is from Japan, no knowledge of the Japanese language is needed. Any letter puzzles are in English, and everything else is a complicated code of colors, tiles, symbols, and funky drawings which, if interpreted correctly, will help you get out of the stark space.

Oozy and the Tower of Wulu Oozy and the Tower of Wulu is a new action adventure and puzzle game from Oddity Games. Oozy is a cute lil' alien mollusk. Oozy has a dream. Oozy wants to slime the whole world. To do this, Oozy needs a magical shard; one currently held at the top floor of the Tower of Wulu. All Oozy needs to do is climb through fifty levels of a top-down maze, sliming baddies, exploding ooze, collecting lime jellies, and battling bosses all the while. Won't you help poor Oozy to realize his vision?

Feign: Track down nine bodies in a brain-bending maze of unreal proportions brought to you by Ian Snyder. The premise is simple, and so is the gameplay, but the otherworldly design and lack of narrative combine to create an oddly meditative experience where the only real meaning is the one you give to it.
