Paladog is a big, cuddly, newspaper-fetching machine, that brings back the Sunday paper, but slobbers all over the funnies. And you love it anyway.
Pity the poor dude who is in charge of Middleshire, one of the areas of the kingdom we first saw in Royal Envoy. First, he's late to the meeting with the king, then all he can report is bad, bad news about the region. The King is not happy about any of this, so he once again appoints someone (as in you, the player) to go and get this poor place redeveloped so that the folks will be happy in Royal Envoy 2, the latest time management amusement from Playrix Entertainment.
It's always great when Japanese developer, Yoshio Ishii, gets experimental, and this RPG is certainly that. It looks like an Excel Spreadsheet, and plays like a computer hacking scene from a 1980s action movie. Abstract, but very addictive, Parameters won't be for everyone, but those looking for something a little different should find it quite compelling.
Nature is a cruel mistress in this little gem from Ludum Dare 23. Improve tiles, gather resources, and build cities and shrines to stabilize your world against the next eco disaster. To beat the game you will need to build a level 4 shrine and a level 3 city. Easier said than done, as each disaster will destroy or rearrange tiles, and erase whatever you've built there.
When someone tries to block, show them that you ROCK! Tempa Labs brings a unique spin to the turn-based RPG genre in this bouncy strategy game where you shoot your heroes around the field, pinball style, dealing damage to monsters and earning levels. Have you met your orc slaughtering quotient for the day? No? Good, because In Battle Panic, a new strategy defense game by Kaiparasoft, your kingdom has been overrun by the orcish horde and it's up to you to take back what's yours and bring the fight to the enemy's homeland. Nothing new here, of course, but what makes Battle Panic stand out is its controls. To build, heal, destroy, and mine, just place your cursor over the object you want to interact with, no clicking required. Finally a strategy game for the truly casual!
Many a bank robber has gotten away because of a superhero's random craving for crust, cheese, and tomato sauce. So you'll need to get those pizzas out quick and hot in Superhero Pizza a time management simulation game. An extremely well-polished game, Superhero makes up for its relative lack of depth with a good dose of humor.
Another kingdom is in peril and you must defeat the king's power hungry son before it is too late! Nano Kingdoms puts you in charge of His Majesty's forces as you carve a path towards his evil son. Who says robots never get to go on adventures? In this short but addictive little casual mining simulation, you play a small robot with a big drill who is out to rebuild the city by bringing in ore to sell. While not as complex as other mining titles, Utopian Mining is cute, accessible, and a lot of fun for an afternoon.
Billy is the last man left on the earth after super-evolved apes have taken over, and to defend himself against the hordes of flying monkeys and angry gorillas, he has to spawn children and turn them into defense units, apparently without the aid of a single female. Makes no sense? It doesn't matter, because the game features some great twists on the tower defense genre.
In this action simulation game, it's a farmer's life for you. But, when the sun goes down, the nasties come out and you'll need to trade your shovel for a shotgun or other heavy weapon to stay alive, picking up coins from your fallen enemies as you go. Use the money you earn this way to buy seeds, eggs, ammo, and upgrades for your guns, health, and other abilities.
A delightful tropical hotel simulation sprinkled with creepiness, Innkeeper balances local color and global appeal. Come to Sequijor and stay at our lovely inn! Yes, we have a bit of a reputation for aswangs, a kind of vampiric beastie, but who would go to Loch Ness without Nessie, right? Besides, no one seems to stay here at night, anyway.
Pull on your jeans and work boots, it's time to go digging for gold! In The Podge's simulation game, Boom Town, you'll have to carry out every aspect of creating a bustling town from a mining operation. Place buildings to attract new residents, plant explosives to blast the gold out of your land, drive the truck that picks it all up... you do it all! It's a rootin-tootin good time as you play the life of a frontiersman.
"Take down the good guys!" That's what the title tells you in Nerdook's tower defense venture, Kill the Heroes. Place your tower units along or around the path as the little soldiers cycle around the level, taking their shots at you when they can. Earn cash for purchasing units and upgrades (why do heroes carry so much on them anyway?). It's not everyday you get to be a sinister, big-brained alien, so take what satisfaction you can from it before you take over the world and life becomes too easy.
I love Pokemon, and I don't care who knows it! I also love tower defense games, so this would seem to be a match made in heaven. Sam Otero brings us this geek-tastic title complete with a story that stays faithful to the original silly, fun source material; a mysterious man and woman are set to attack Professor Oak's lab with a bunch of hypnotised Pokemon and steal all the Rare Candies they can find. Select your Pokemon and go on an adventure, tower-defense style, getting stronger and evolving to save Oak's stash! WATER TYPE FO' LIFE, YO!

An enormously well-polished game of golf-themed tri-peaks solitaire. Take cards from the pile, pair them with the face-up card below, uncover a few neat power-ups, and try to clear the screen without breaking par! Few things are as exciting as a well-made casual solitaire game. Well, few things that aren't cake, hugs from puppies, or driving up to a traffic light just as it turns green and starts dispensing candy.
The enthusiasm of "Alice is Dead" developer Hyptosis branches out into the turn-based RPG genre in Relic, where the titular object might destroy the world in the wrong hands and it's up to your ragtag group of sexy and/or adorable adventurers to get it back. Featuring an array of imaginatively designed beasties for enemies and some lovely maps, this is a quick romp you can beat in a few hours. Saving the world needn't take all day.
A word game that's all about vocabulary building... literally! The goal of it is to build a mighty tower to the heavens, and your only tools are quick thinking and linguistic fortitude. While racing the clock, type a word that has the designated prefix or suffix, or for extra height, both. The faster you type, the higher you'll build. Extra points can be scored for typing the letters that appear in Bonus Bubbles, or doing combos of words with same prefix/suffix. Proke is a light kind of game, but it's very addictive.
Monsters never seem to have altruistic agendas. Whether it's scarfing down brains, scaring children, or mucking about with your spreadsheets so you think you did your taxes wrong (the horror!), if a monster comes near, you should probably ready your defenses. Such is the case with Monster TD, a well-illustrated side view tower defense game from Booblyc, the same team behind the physics puzzle game Steampunk.
Papa's at it again, sneakily tricking you into running his latest venture... a pancake house! It doesn't matter if you're inexperienced, the customers are at your door and you're going to have to learn that griddle on the fly. Build towers of fluffy golden goodness and decorate them with delicious toppings, earn new items for your menu OR for your shop, and even play a variety of mini-games. It's another dose of the time management action you've come to love from the Papa's series, with all the breakfast artistry you could possibly want. Now I'm hungry...
The number of tower defense games is as massive as the hordes of enemies you fight in them, but this side view strategy game stands out in the horde's ranks. Epic Stand pins you down at your castle and magic is your only weapon. To defend your castle walls, click on the screen to where you want the spell to be cast and let it work its magic. The level is over when there are no enemies left standing and none of them reach your wizard's final floor.
A fun time management game in which you run a corporation hoping to gain a monopoly in the field of world-domination. The game shows just how difficult in can be balancing the demands of a multi-national corporation while still maintaining satisfying progress in your quest for undead-based world domination. Balance issues pervade, but it should still prove addictive to any fan of zombies, time management or both.
Train up a duck in the way he should run, swim, fly, climb, and jump, and when he enters a tournament he will not depart from it. A well known proverb of Duck Life, well-illustrated in this fourth installment in the series, which takes your ducks from the grasslands to the big city in search of glory and silly hats. Fifteen mini-games help keep the grinding fun.
An action-RPG filled with monsters to smash, gold to loot and experience bars to fill, all within a stunning presentation you wouldn't expect to find from a Flash game. Monster genocide earns you experience points and at each level you get five skill points to boost stats like damage, critical rate and armor. There's no cinematic plot here aside from a short introductory cutscene; it's just you, a dungeon and an army of bad guys who need a good axing. Try the free browser demo and see if it doesn't get your fingers twitching for a rampage.
Mission in Space: The Lost Colony is an extremely customizable turn-based strategy game with an easy-to-use interface and variety of challenges that will please players of any skill level. Plus it has a valuable lesson about the dangers of ventilation ducts. Spoiler alert: they contain aliens.
Axis Games brings its Hands of War RPG series into the tower defense genre. As a simple, lowly page, you have been given the Heartstone, a most powerful relic, and tasked to reunite the land of Tempor. Hands of War Tower Defense offers a neat story line to go along with some great tower defense gameplay. The underlying game is pretty easy, but with all the handicaps available to add to a level, you can essentially adjust your difficulty. It's a fun experience and one in which you'll likely drain a couple of evenings away!
It's rough getting thrown in the Pit. Mainly because everyone there has the Plague, and nobody ever comes out... at least, not until you. Instead of dying, you, a mild castle librarian, unlock a hidden power within yourself that lets you and your friends battle monsters on another plane... and grants you the chance to save the world. A fantastic and engaging indie game from Level Up Labs that blends strategy, tower defense, fantasy, comedy, and even RPG elements for one wildly addictive game.
The time has come for adventure!... well, a little one, anyway! This simplified roguelike from Ido Yeheili offers three different heroes ready to delve into a dangerous dungeon in search of an evil Minotaur what needs slayin'. While definitely not quite as complex as other titles in the genre, Cardinal Quest offers an ease of use and engaging gameplay that's hard to beat and harder to put down.
Count Thrashwoode's cruelty has gone unchecked for too long! Will you be the one to rescue Princess Hilda before time runs out? After all, Castle Chameleon didn't earn it's name for nothing, and there are more than a few oddities inside it, including the walls themselves. Scarlet Stranger is a beautiful top-down action RPG in the tradition of early Zelda titles that might be too simple for some tastes, but serves up classic gameplay in a rich, distinctive presentation.
Undefined's chibi-cute new tower defense title features an interesting variety of traps, spells and towers in a build-your-own-path style game. Just make sure you think very carefully about your plan before you place things, and you'll find this a pleasant gameplay experience.
You know what are always enjoyable? RC Tanks, especially ones that you can use to fire things at your least-favorite sibling. It took Emitter Critter to realize how this universal archetype of fun might translate well to flash form, and the result is the new top-down shooter, Awesome Tanks. It's nothing too complicated: Shoot stuff. Get coins. Buy upgrades. But when so many arena games are drenched with gore or zombie blood (not that there's anything wrong with that!), it's always cool to see polished genre works that are "kid-friendly" without feeling too "kiddy". Awesome Tanks' fifteen levels have the combination of frenetic action and colorful explosions that all ages should enjoy.
Introducing a whole new experience to the Creeper World series of games! Rather than the top-down view of the original, you're given a side view which, at the very least, offers an easier visual of creeper depth. With both an interactive tutorial at the beginning of levels and the same control setup as previous games, it's a cinch to pick up even if you're new to beating back the creeper.
Kingdom Rush has itty-bitty visuals but an ogre's worth of style and strategy. In this fantastic, game-of-the-year calibre tower defense game, protect your kingdom's roads and countrysides against incoming hordes of goblins, bandits, wulves, and other nasties. Build towers, upgrade your army in and out of battle, take on challenges, and enjoy all the POW SOK SHUNT battling you can handle while you're at it.

We've all been there... Friday night, just hanging out at your house at R'lyeh waiting, dreaming, for your cult leader servant to finally complete the ritual that will grant you unlimited power. But then, all these lame-o cops, Miskatonic professors, mystics, and asylum escapees just had to show up and try to ruin your fun. Good thing your very tentacley touch brings the corrupted servitude of madness. Still, you'd think they'd just learn to Leave Cthulhu Alone! In this flashpunk tower defense game from Loserville Express, messing with the old ones has never been so much fun!
Rustlers are after your bulls! That's like the Wild West version of someone trying to steal your Camaro! In Long Way, a new western tower defense game from Meetreen Games, your job is to get together a posse and show those rustlers what happens to dirty snakes who break the law of the West. Long Way blends classic Tower Defense gameplay with a great upgrade system that adds a lot of longevity. You can develop your posse in a variety of ways, so even though the game can be fairly difficult there are several paths to success. Trying different strategies goes a long way toward keeping the game fresh.
In this sequel to the original strategic tower defense hybrid, the titular dark lord you controlled in the original is back! It's your job to show him what happens to dark lords (hint: it's not tea and cookies.) Your goal is to claim the enemy's castle at the opposite side of each stage from your own, getting cash and building units, while casting spells of your own to help out directly.

The Mother Tree is under attack from corrupted spirits and it's your job to tend the garden and weed out the baddies in this charming and fun tower defense game from Juicy Beast. Plant trees based on their different specific powers in strategic locations along the enemy's path or call upon your own mastery of the elements in order to fight off wave after wave of spirits to restore peace and the natural order to the grove.
Danger Dungeon is a fun little exploration-based action RPG from Insane Hero. There's a huge world to explore, with some cool pre-rendered 3D graphics to look at and a ton of ways to customize your character to your play-style. Some aspects feel a little rushed: particularly noticeable is how your CPU allies have the kind of AI that flits back and forth between "useless" and "suicidal". Overall, though, it makes for a fun love letter to old-school dungeon crawlers and should satisfy anyone looking for a little fantasy action during their coffee break
Fun, frantic, and addictive, Mushroom Madness 3 is a kicking tower defense game and a great way to vent all of your inner pent up rage and frustration on a wide variety of animals, insects, and birds. You may know a saying about laying down with dogs and getting up with fleas. Well, adventurers have their own saying: "Get into a fight with a demon, die or become horribly cursed." The hero of this dungeon crawler clearly didn't get that memo, and thus he's forced to journey into the Cursed Dungeon in search of a cure. The game focuses purely on its battle system, stripping away extraneous distractions like equipment management, and thus succeeds in serving up simple battling fun that RPG fans will find addictive.
FrozenFire and Jon Sandness are back with a spookified expansion pack to their popular Symphonic Tower Defense. Once again it is time for the master conductor to dust the cobwebs from his baton and take a stand against the awesome power of awesome music in Symphonic Tower Defense Halloween. While the soundtrack is a tad more scary and the aesthetics a bit more orangey, gameplay pretty much the same as the previous installment. That's not a bad thing: those who liked the original will love to have more of it, and those new to the series will find this a perfect place to jump on.
Aliens everywhere, and Sigourney Weaver is nowhere to be found! Looks like it's up to you and a few of your power-suited buddies to stop them in this good-looking turn-based strategy game. Are all zombies all bad? Maybe they just need a little tender loving care... or, uh, a baseball bat to the head if you so choose. In this surprisingly engrossing simulation from Evil Dog, you are a scientist struggling to study the living dead after civilization has ground to a halt, and how you treat your subjects can mean the difference between one reconnecting with the remnants of its humanity, or becoming even more aggressive than ever... and maybe even whether you discover the truth about the outbreak.
Sure everyone's played a fighter, mage or thief, but few have had experience with the bard. Sapient Games has created a whole world revolving around this character in their text-based RPG, The Bard's Journey. Using your mouse, choose the options below the text to either take an action in that area or to move on to the next area (which can also be done with the compass). You can compose your own music to play in battle, but balance is the key in order to get the set of bonuses you desire. Even without the music writing, this RPG is fun and the story is interesting, so feel free to pack up your lute and use the default songs for a quick dive into a melodic, mystical world.
Warlight is a feature-rich strategy game along the lines of Risk, Galcon, or Dice Wars. It features single player modes that include user-made maps (such as Mr. T!) and a host of interesting gameplay additions such as cards and fog of war. Warlight is a fabulous gaming experience for fans of the traditional game of Risk and for those who are yet to experience strategic gameplay and the thrill of world domination.
A simulation, adventure game that is an experiment to better learn how to program, but an entertaining one. Create and manage a fantasy city full of fantasy creatures, then recruit and train them to send them into fantasy dungeons and earn you fantasy treasure. There's no save, unfortunately, and the lack of a tutorial may be a bit daunting, but a true leader doesn't need a rule book and counts every painful death of their loyal minions as a learning experience! (Lesson learned: Buy more minions, fewer health insurance policies.)

Odin City - the last refuge of human kind against the resilient Creeper. It does what it can, but it's always just a matter of time before it needs to create a wormhole and travel away. You control Odin City in Knuckle Cracker's Creeper World: User Space, a strategy game consisting of user-created levels from the level editor in Creeper World. It's a great introduction to the series with an easy to pick up interface and a progression of levels which allow you to figure out the finer points before it increases in difficulty. Hey, and if you find yourself intrigued enough after 12 levels, you can always shell out the dough for the full game.

Werewolves, dragons, and mermaids, oh my! LittleGiantWorld puts you in control of every monster ever, but the goal is less world domination and more sweet moolah. Gather new creature DNA to create and manage a zoo/expo hall/what could possibly go wrong facility for the customers to visit and bring in more money. Despite some repetition, it's a cartoony, appealing little time management simulation worth a look.
Play as the lovable cast of Mercenary, Inc. as they do their best to defeat the Evil Witch of the Evil Cave in the solid, entertaining RPG Crystal Story by Emmanuel Salva Cruz. The controls of Crystal Story should be familiar to regular players of RPGs, where your mouse is used to navigate the various menus. Crystal Story isn't innovative, it's just a good RPG with anime style graphics, epic battle music and a story to put a smile on your face.

I'd like to make fun of the kid in this real-time strategy defense game, but considering I was actually able to give myself nightmares just recently by thinking of the trailer for Insidious before I go to bed, I guess I can't throw stones. Use your imagination and arsenal of toys to defend your young tot against waves of incoming bad dreams in a fashion that will probably seem very familiar, but will appeal to tower defense fans just the same.

You'll be playing for their team as you man an alien invasion of planet Earth and send hordes of horrifying beasties to do your dirty work.
The zombies need more corpses for their upcoming undead apocalypse, but the ghosts aren't having any of it, since those are their bodies, even if they have been dead and buried for years. Okay, to be honest, the undead monsters in this turn-based strategy board game are more interest in wiping out each other than they are you. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't still be on your guard! CONSTANT VIGILANCE as my favourite professor used to say.

Tower Defense games have cast you in many different roles as protector. Symphonic Tower Defense, however, is the first time that a band conductor has been tasked with guarding against nigh-unstoppable attack. I suppose it's justified though, as this time it's music itself that's out of control. And should it escape, terrible unspecified things will happen to us all. Get ready to take some notes and make your enemies treble with bass fear, as you orchestrate the sharpest defense possible! While a few hopefully-soon-to-be-fixed programming glitches make it a little discordant, overall Symphonic Tower Defense has a nice beat that's easy to dance to.
The Papa's Series of time management simulation games goes ice cold in this sweet treat of an installment. Anyone who has ever heard the siren lure of the build-your-own-sundae bar at restaurants across the land knows the appeal of crafting creamy masterpieces, and Papa's will definitely fill that fantasy if you've got steady hands and an eye for ice-cream perfection. Coming up next; Papa's Charcuteria! (Guest starring Anthony Bourdain. Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease!)

Embark upon dozens of missions in this expertly-crafted game of combat, strategy, and on-the-fly steam tank construction!
Hey! Orcs, skeletons, giants, mosquitoes, bunnies, and evil bees! Those acorns are mine! Armed with a bow and arrows and a few other more boom-inducing weapons, Elliot Pace's Defend Your Nuts is a fast-paced defense game that puts you in the furry shoes of a squirrel perched on a tree. As evil minions tromp in from the right side of the screen, take aim and fire to send them back to the flames of Hades where they belong, keeping your winter stash safe and secure from their muck-covered paws!
Turn-based RPG action gets pun-ier in this fourth installment of the popular Flagstaff series. This time you're searching for "Crazy Dust" antidote, which is something I would personally love to get my hands on... what? No, not for me! Geez. Rude. While not perhaps the best showing the series has to offer, it still brings to the table all the strategic combat you love, and all the hawt towel fashions you need.
Sort of a reverse tower defense game where you play the vengeful Cat God whose followers have turned to the Sun King, and you're trying to stop the Sun King's temple from being built by killing everyone working on it with various powers... which as everyone knows is the quickest way to win back the hearts and minds of your people. Using powers earns experience, which levels them up and makes them stronger.
The Dude abides in this zombie defense shooter... or a Dude, anyway. When your car gets into a rather spectacular accident on a lonely country road, it's up to you do repair it while simultaneously fending off the waves of flesh-eating monsters headed your way. A miserly checkpoint system and lack of variety hold it back somewhat, but ultimately it's got a winning style and charm that make it worth checking out. Plus, zombie bunnies!
Dig deep down into the ground and mine for resources, precious metals and other treasures in this fun digging simulation game. Use your earnings to upgrade your rig and embark on missions for even more opportunities to earn cash.
Ever think about the high cost of the clothes you wear? No, not just the price you pay at the register, but the people on the other end you never see or even consider? Littleloud brings us a strategy simulation that tasks you with running a factory overseas struggling to meet demands for the most popular items. Will you be able to keep your boss happy without sacrificing the well being of your workers? Or will the need for speed and money trump health and safety?
A local 2-player versus game in which one player plays the man who builds barricades and finds elixirs during the day and the other plays the wolf who tears down barricades and eats people. It's a race for points over 3 days and nights, and then the roles switch. The player with the most points after 2 rounds wins. Grab a friend, or another personality, to play a game.
Now that you've defeated that pungeon master, the five-man band is descending into a cave with an even greater threat: humidity. Turns out putting a cave of ice and a cave of fire next to each other isn't that great of an idea. The good thing about Flagstaff: Chapter Three is that it's more of the same, and since the previous games were fun, light-hearted time wasters well received by many in the JIG community as well as myself, more of the same can't go too wrong.
Chances are, if you're on the internet, you've felt the clinging burr that is a virus at some point; infuriating and frequently difficult to dislodge. Maybe you'd like a little... payback?... what?! NO, not like that! Put down that hatchet, you psycho, sheesh. No, I was thinking of a little digital warfare, and in this good looking little defense strategy game you'll have to think on your feet and make the best use of your contagious little army to bring down an enemy hacker before they have the chance to do the same to you.
In the tradition of games like Worms and Scorched Earth, take your tank onto the 2D battlefield and drop a few bombs on your enemy in this excellent multiplayer artillery title from Kyle Champ. Addictive, demanding and fun; the hallmarks of a great artillery game. And Shell Shock Live is a great artillery game. Maybe even one of the best...
While it's fairly similar to the original, particularly because a lot of the art assets are recycled, Book of Dead Names helps update the Necronomicon formula and add a lot of much-needed depth. The difficulty might turn some players off, especially since as a card game it's possible to lose matches by simply not getting the cards you need, but it's still worth a look for card game and Lovecraft fans alike. Just try not to unleash any dark powers. It's a pain to clean up after that kind of thing.
In Bug Tunnel Defense, bugs are in fact our deadly enemies after an atomic war has laid waste to the rest of civilization, and they're coming for what is left of humanity. So, not much different from the present day, really, minus the radiation and the end of civilization. With 5 levels of tutorials and 40 levels of gameplay, Bug Tunnel Defense is short but entertaining. If you enjoy tower defense games, then try out Bug Tunnel Defense with its fun new twist on an old classic. And for heaven's sake, get those darn bugs before they wipe us all out.
If history has taught us anything, it's that history is neat and can make great content for video games. Case in point: Siegius, a casual real-time strategy / defense game that takes place during Julius Caesar's conquest of Gaul way back in the mid-50s BC. Send units out to attack the base of the Gaul commander Vercingetorix. He's streaming soldiers as well, so you must balance defensive units with long-range fighters, melee combat specialists, and unique spells, clearing the battlefields as you march your way to victory! Hopefully!
From Papa's Pizzeria to Papa's Burgeria to the latest time management game Papa's Taco Mia, Flipline Studios consistently produces great-looking games that walk a delicate line between challenging and straight-up entertaining. The newest in the growing series of restaurant sims puts you in the managing shoes of a taco joint. Take customer's orders, grill up the right kind of meat, stuff the tacos, add the toppings one by one, and present each order to the customer for their evaluation. Make neater tacos, rake in bigger tips, and outfit your restaurant with the best equipment available as you work your way to a taco-making master!
Being an avid reader of certain articles over at Cracked, I've come to learn that the animal kingdom, while wonderful and vast, is also horrifying and disgusting. Ducks are no exception. Thankfully, this little simulation is merely entertaining and weird, despite featuring some potentially freaking genetically modified duck hybrids. (Ewww.) Once again you're training a hapless duckling up to compete against other ducks by managing its stats and playing a bunch of little minigames. The ducks at Universal Studios aren't quite as rigorously trained, although they are quite skilled in the art of "begging for Cinnabons" and "being loud and smelly".
Be legendary! Be powerful! Be... pixellated? Kevin Glass' retro roguelike is currently in continued development, but don't be afraid to dip your toes into this top-notch casual experience designed to be picked up and played at any time by anyone. Sharped your sword, fletch your arrows, and... uh... spark your fireballs? There's adventure to be had!
Take up the mantle of Gem Keeper and protect your glittery hoard from all comers in this official level pack from tower defense maestros Iriysoft. Make strategic use of three different terrains and towers, upgrading your offensive capabilities to stand firm against hordes of powerful enemies, each with their own unique abilities. Just remember, when the going get tough, the tough rain down a fiery hail of massive meteorites.
Flagstaff remains more about the silly story and casual pace than about seriously challenging veteran RPG players, but the design is cute and distinctive, the heroes all have interesting and balanced powers, and the pace is perfect for a light bit of dungeon crawling. Chapter Two builds on the promise of Chapter One, and tantalizes for the next installment of the Flagstaff series.
Fans of the original Castaway will find much they like from the first game, plus many improvements. Castaway 2 isn't the deepest RPG around, but it's perfect for casual fans of the genre. The Isle of the Titans has a lot to do and a lot to see, and will keep casual RPG players well occupied. Just don't let it suck you in too much, or you might find that you suffer some light amnesia of your own.
