Too bad getting there is way, way harder than it sounds in this ridiculous physics game from the creators of Surgeon Simulator 2013. Currently in Early Access, I Am Bread can be frustrating, but also charming, hilarious, and a lot of fun if you're patient.

Elliot Quest In Elliot Quest, the retro adventure platform game by Ansimuz Games, you can't die. Well, you can, but you always wake up at the last glowing rock thing you passed. Which is kind of weird when you think about it, and you need some answers. It's an enjoyable 8-bit throwback that doesn't pause the action to engage in any handholding. Elliot Quest will probably make you feel lost, but offers enough cool things to find to make it all worth while.

Stachmou and the Golden Compass Stachmou and the Golden Compass is a humorous point and click adventure by Didier Guagliano where the titular impressively-facial-haired pirate sets out for adventure and riches. Short and silly with generally logical puzzles and only a few translation errors getting in the way of the comedy.

Game of Thrones </br> A TellTale Game Series When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. In this first installment of TellTale's new episodic adventure game, House Forrester, bannermen to House Stark, find themselves struggling to keep their heads above the water amidst political machinations. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Ethan Carter is missing, and a series of gruesome murders are happening throughout the isolated town of Red Creek. Paul Prospero is the occult detective Ethan had been writing to before his disappearance, but what Paul uncovers is just as said as it is shocking and unsettling in this gorgeous indie horror adventure.

Impressions: The Long Dark (Early Access) Currently available in sandbox early access, this cold and lonely survival simulation puts you in the Canadian wilderness with only the clothes off your back after a geomagnetic storm brings about the end of the world. The Long Dark has the potential to be amazing, but some players may find the way it sacrifices realism for video game difficulty too much to ignore.

Danse Macabre: Moulin Rouge Sophie, a rising star at the Moulin Rouge, has turned up dead and the police think they have their killer, but you're not so sure. Solve a mystery with more twists and turns than a country road in this gorgeous cozy hidden-object adventure from Eipix Entertainment.

Lisa It probably won't take you more than ten or fifteen minutes, but this adorable, cozy indie adventure about a girl and her dog is well worth your time if you're looking for a game that invites you to relax and explore... minus a bizarre and abrupt ending.

Soluna A dark, moody world bereft of sunlight, this game has you jumping, leaping and fighting your way through your darkened homeland to reunite pieces of a Sun Gem. Use the [arrow] keys and [S] to jump, attack and interact with the noirish landscape.

9 Clues: The Ward A frantic phone call brings you to a remote asylum, but things aren't what they seem in this fantastic and campy thriller hidden-object adventure that's packed with detective work, explosive scenes, and a wonderfully creepy style.

Candlelight (Demo) It's just one level, but this demo for an upcoming platforming adventure about a lone candle trying to rescue its friends who have been snuffed out by ominous shadows still manages to tantalize.

Matchstick Memories Matchstick Memories isn't your typical text adventure. Instead of typing, you move through a series of memories of colored fragments that you swipe, light, and connect to collect. You've got to plan your moves carefully to avoid traps and collect the elusive matchboxes. While the levels are borrowed from puzzle standards, unique presentation and gameplay mechanics make this game a surprisingly compelling and tactile experience.

Escape Eternity Psionic Games is back with another horror-themed point-and-click adventure, and this one's rendered in full atmospheric 3D with Unity! You find yourself locked within a grim tomb, a giant stone door barring your only exit. Luckily for you, some helpful soul has left you several notes to help you escape! But those notes have more to say about your predicament than you might expect... Enjoy both the puzzles and the shivers up your spine!

On the Edge of Earth: 5000 On the Edge of Earth: 5000 is a sci-fi adventure game by Roope Tamminen, originally developed for the Ludum Dare 48 game jam under the theme of "Connected Worlds". In it, you play as an astronaut attempting to terraform a world, using a whole bunch of sciencey stuff he doesn't quite remember how to use. While enjoyment will on the player's tolerance for tinkering, On the Edge of Earth: 5000 is a charming experience that rewards experimentation.

Hero and Daughter Tongue firmly planted in cheek and, um, assets spilling out all over the place, this dungeoncrawling RPG translated by vgperson and created by Tachi follows Ralph, a hero busted back down to level one, as he summons powerful female companions to help defeat the Dark Lord.

Maestro: Dark Talent A musical prodigy appears out of nowhere, but her talents are deadly, and you'll need to race to stop her before the dark forces commanding her destroy the city and your friend Kate in the latest hidden-object adventure from ERS Game Studios.

Generation Ship Generation Ship is a sci-fi Unity adventure game developed by Shide for the Ludum Dare 30 "connected worlds" competition. Trapped in space with only a snarky AI, players must solve the cold equations and bring your crew to safety. While maybe a little heavy on the too snark, and maybe a little too light letting you know what things will kill you before they've done so, Generation Ship is a satisfying space puzzle to unravel.

Skip's landed in Finland in this point-and-click adventure from Carmel Games, and he's desperate to meet the famous "sauna guru"... but first he'll have to perform a few weird tasks as you travel around to actual locations and maybe learn a little in the process.
