Rinnogogo's hotel you are escaping from is awesome - not that it just looks comfortable, it is. Soft armchairs and sofas stand in every corner inviting to sit down and rest, maybe read something, and cold drinks are on small tables within reach. Why would anyone wish to get away from here?

Hi! Weekday Escape and Weekday Puzzle are here!

Selfdefiant takes you for two short trips to nature - to Montana and Nebraska this time. In tomoLaSiDo's escape you need to get out of a small house through the front door - through the back door you can leave much earlier in the game but it doesn't count. Willakelin's entry to Weekly Game Jam 249 is surprisingly atmospheric for a short game, and then comes a remake of Cabeza's escape (published on Primera site) - it's a good old game.

Two logic games follow, a platformer by Noa Dev and lasers-and-mirrors game by Salt Pastel Studio. The platformer is quite easy (as all Noa Dev's ones) and accessible for players not much experienced in platformers.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Notice, that Weekday Puzzle will not be posted tomorrow - puzzle games are in this Weekday Escape.

Few months ago we played a nice little game by Seal Dog (WE N°319) and could be seen then that the dev is promising. It wasn't just an impression - their latest game is an excellent escape in the best tradition of the genre. It's a pure joy to play it!

EA's Sims series of simulators is native to the computer, and the first games in it were released on the PC. However, with the growing popularity of smartphones, and most importantly - their technical capabilities, developers have a great opportunity to port their hits to this convenient platform. Smartphones are always at hand, which is what developers use. Gameplay in mobile games is often tied to logging into the game several times a day, which would hardly be possible on a computer. With smartphones, the entire gaming world is always at the user's fingertips.

Spades is a game anybody can pick up, but only a few have the patience to master. If you're looking to improve your game, you will need to practice. However, reading about the game and watching experts play is a great way to pick up some tactics as well.

Welcome to the newest Weekday Escape!

The situation with escape games - and with puzzle games, too - isn't getting any better. Therefore I've merged Weekday Escape and Weekday Puzzle in one post this week and we'll see what the future holds. If there are at least three good escape games, I would post regular Weekday Escape.

We start with two state games by Selfdefiant, Mississippi and Missouri. Then we've got tomoLaSiDo - at the moment the only dev who releases escapes regularly - and a short escape by Omura. Then follow two logic games, a puzzler by The4thAD and a sokoban-like game by Misc.261 Games.

We have two bonus 3D escapes this week by Dassyutu, nice ones, but controlling is not simple.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Notice, that Weekday Puzzle will not be posted tomorrow - puzzle games are in this Weekday Escape.

Welcome to Mobile Monday!

This week we've got (again) cute, clever and amusing game by Nicolet, escape from an apartment with sauna by Room's Room (daichi simada) and a puzzle adventure by TreeHole Games (Sichun Wang) from a magical land.

All games are free and available in Google Play and in Apple Store.

All games are medium-sized. The last one has several time consuming puzzles.

Notice, that starting the next week I will not post Mobile Monday regularly due to low availability of free good games.

In a popular Neat Escape's restaurant you went to the restroom, and stayed there. Not voluntarily. You order is being prepared, you're hungry and thirsty but you can't leave - the door is locked. First it's wc cubicle's door, and after you open it, you find out that the door from the restroom is locked too - what's wrong with this place?

Weekday Puzzle (1).jpeg

Welcome to Weekday Puzzle!

This week we've got three puzzlers. In a Sokoban-like puzzler by Rob Alvarez (rob1221) you need to create a path of light through the dark place. The block you push around does emit light but you often need more than one to clear a level. The second and the third game have simple rules and are less demanding on combination skills - in qkygames' game you need to rotate platforms in right angles, and in colorful and relaxing AleC Games' puzzler just connect two dots.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Welcome to the newest Weekday Escape!

At the beginning we have a double post by Selfdefiant, escapes from Minnesota and Louisiana - I'm posting the games in the order they were released, Mississippi etc. are coming later. The escapes are followed by extra short (but nice) escape by Dice. Then comes a gem by Tatsuyama, an escape which is a joy to play, resembling games which many fans miss so much. The last comes tomoLaSiDo with traditional April Fool's Day game.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Welcome to Mobile Monday!

The first comes an adventure escape from a pyramid by playPLANT (LIBERTY PLANT Inc.) and it's an exciting one - the pyramid collapses immediately after you leave it! Luckily, you don't know that and can explore the tombs and secret rooms without stress. If you're patient enough, you can take with you a big treasure. Then we have two similar escapes - by shou harata and Scaebako Productions (Mai Ukita). Both are standard escapes without complicated puzzles, with simple graphics and relatively short. Perfect relax.

All games are free and available in Google Play and in Apple Store.

The first game is medium-sized, the second and the third one are on a shorter side.
