Trafalgar Origins is a top-down naval combat game commissioned by Channel 4 and created to promote their upcoming television show. It plays similarly to Sid Meier's Pirates, is mission-based, and is an entertaining and educational peek at the age of sail, and one that will take you many hours to beat with quite a bit of replay potential.

Relive history's most brutal battles in 1066, a game of medieval strategic warfare. Despite possessing a difficulty curve that could leave you feeling like a hamlet in the path of a marauding viking clan, 1066 has high production values and a complex battle system with several minigames to master. Think you could do a better job than viking leader Harald Hardrada? You've got some pretty big boots to fill. Literally.

From the award-winning Preloaded design team comes a new physics-based game designed for the Science Museum in London. Launchball is a fabulously produced take on the 'guide something to the goal' family of physics games. There is even a level editor with which to create puzzles and send them to your friends.

Stone Cold Curling is another well-polished game by Preloaded, the makers of CDX and Shootin' Stars. It's a simple Flash version of curling where your goal is to slide stones to the end of a field and come as close to the center of the target as you can.

Just launched by the BBC History team along with the design and technical prowess of those amazing Preloaded folks (wasn't I just pining for something new from them?), CDX is a brand new multi-episode adventure game that uses real actors and video segments to spin a tale of mystery and intrigue around an ancient Roman sacrificial blade.

This gorgeous, interactive narrative and detective drama is set in the late 1920's and produced by the award-winning creative team at Preloaded in the UK. Death in Sakkara is an Egyptian adventure game that offers a rich immersing narrative experience peppered with historical content, puzzles, mystery and intrigue. All four (4) episodes available to play.

The über-talented Preloaded folks have done it again and released another Flash game to promote their own skillz, and this one does a fine job of showing off the Flash magic they are capable of. Heart Attack is an arcade action shooter in which you play as Cupid trying to save the love from the darkside by shooting arrows at little devils and other assorted gremlins.

From Preloaded in London comes this sweet, entertaining game filled with combos, skill shots and wonderful particle effects that explode when you shoot a star. Its simple and addictive gameplay is as easy as pressing the right key at the right moment.
