Makibishi Comic

It isnt working on my computer, but it looks fun.

It took me a while to figure out what I'm supposed to do. Now it's just a matter of doing it.

Well that was fun. Very fun to look at.

hmm completed all the levels except the underground one (could use a hint if anyones finished it).
so far in that level i've

opened the metal capsule sprayed away the bugs/ant Got the green roll thing. cant quite solve that musical part tho

Anyone know how to get all 5 rag dolls. I got 3 but cant find the rest.

Lovely and cute, but I'm stuck on the last (well, apparently the "first") Makibishi ball on the planet.. :/

this is what i can remember (hope it helps)

in the doll collecting one. try checking the different rooms at night and day they change/have clickable parts you need to leave. -turn water on, leave it over night -check out the t-rex stomach -with robot and samurai. click on the door handles and tell emperor you can see a ghost and then click loads. -grow the tree, then change time and re visit it -find map on the floor write down the code, then re visit at night. turn on the light and press the right buttons with the giant masked thing, break its headphones and make sure they dont get repared. on the planet click everything like easter island head's mouth, give the monkey a bone, click on the giant black slab, click satelite after finding the spanner. cant remember the rest on monkey one click on the branches and all the monkeys/ characters.

Finally got the last Makibishi ball!~

For the underground place:

You need to get the dudes to sing the notes of the song mentioned after the frog's arrival - I just pulled up a scale notes image from Google, then the green roll is used on the results (you need to get the key to the box and the contents of the box to the egg, first)

There's one in the king's room (daytime), one in the power plant room (nighttime), one in the baths (after you've turned on the water in the daytime), one in the tree room (nighttime), and one in the dino's tummy (anytime).
Then you have to collect the guy out of the crowd at the bottom of the screen.

Stinky, what green roll thing in the under ground?

I was also stuck on getting the first ball. It's actually quite simple:

Just go to the tall stone with the monkeys, click on all the circles to make them turn white, and then click in the bottom middle, and it should finish the puzzle. Then the ball will pop out, and you'll be set.

From where you are at, you will want to go to the area with the big fish. You want to lure it into the left hand corner area. Just place your cursor there, it will try to swim at you. As soon as it gets in the corner, click it's head a few times. Repeat until it spits out a key. Take the key up to the box with the floating spirits and the 5 circled sign on it. Open that. You'll get a pick. Use the pick on the rock with the seal. A frog will come out. Then you click on the frog to make it go to the area with the music notes. The music reads "C D E F E D C E F G A G F E". Play it correctly and the frog will turn into a tadpole. Use the scroll that you got from the robots mouth (once you spray the ant and turn on the power, the robot crashes. You should have clicked on his mouth to get the scroll), and the tadpole will change. And you're set!

I sure was, that is until I discovered that

the tab key works wonders.

Great game ... awesome visuals and graphics. Not too tough to figure out. Definitely use full screen, makes it much easier.

Amazingly beautiful...but the way the background moved around made me a little ill. Shame, too...it was really fantastic.

To get to the last guy

when you find all the others, a frog appears on the main (first) screen. Click it and it turns into the final character and you win the game.

Yay, a 2001 reference. *And* easter Island. Yay.

A breathtaking experience. It was lovely. :)

Ugh. I am dying from load times. I have taken John's advice and am loading up all the locations before engaging in play in the hopes that my play experience is both encouraged and enlivened. I am growing bored. And possibly a beard. Hah.

Yay! Here's a complete walkthrough for Makibishi Comic:

Warashimata (Huge mass production)

1. 

   Click on the huge guy's headphones.
2. 

   Keep on clicking until they break.
3. 

   Once you click on him, the green guy will go and fix them.
4. 

   Click on him multiple times and and he sends the big guy spinning He's now on his back.
5. 

   Click the red guy and then the green guy again to send the whole thing in motion.
6. 

   Click on the guy who pops up and down on the big guy and you win.

Saegakure (Monkey World)

1. 

   First, click on the patch on the tree.
2. 

   Next, click on all of the monkeys that are close to the robot ninjas.
3. 

   Then click the huge monkey.
4. 

   Click the termite mound to find the red ninja.
5. 

   Click the ninja with the crow, then the crow in the air.
6. 

   Click the ninja who summoned it again, and he gets in the way.
7. 

   Then click the red ninja. He goes on a gun.
8. 

   Click him again and then Mr. Wild boar man while he's chased by bees. New monkey.
9. 

   Click one of the remaining angry monkeys to get him to attack.
10. 

    Click on the yellow ninja to get Mr. Bear Man, and click him for the laser beam of death. New monkey.
11. 

    Click the deer for a fat ninja, who if clicked grows and gives the monkey a huge banana.
12. 

    Click the monkey for the next ninja. Click it.

Now on to Chikamatsu Garden (T-Rexes and clocks)

1. 

   Click the ninja in the foreground that's huge to start.
2. 

   Go to the daytime.
3. 

   Go in the T-rex and sift around until you find the ninja.
4. 

   Next, go to the tree place.
5. 

   In there, water the tree with the can until we get bats. Remember this place.
6. 

   Go to the smoking house.
7. 

   Turn the water on.
8. 

   Go to the house with the Japanese sign.
9. 

   Read the code, and memorize.
10. 

    Go to the nighttime and go back into the code house.
11. 

    Turn the lights on with the wall button, and input the code. Get dummy.
12. 

    Go to the bath house.
13. 

    Get the ninja.
14. 

    Go to the tree place. Get ninja.
15. 

    Go back to daylight and go into palace in backround. Answer Yes, No, then yes to the rest.
16. 

    Click and get the ninja.
17. 

    Go out and get the ninja in the crowd on the hill. YAY!

Akasuki (Planet)

1. 

   Click easter head mouth. Get orb.
2. 

   Click the bunny until the thing explodes. Get orb.
3. 

   Connect the plug on the detonator. Blow thing up.
4. 

   Get orb from alien. Light up dots. Click at the bottom to get the orb.
5. 

   Give monkey bone.
6. 

   Click monkey, and then the thing next to the orb. Get orb.
7. 

   Give wrench to the astronaut.
8. 

   Click the sattelite on the other end of city. Get orb.
9. 

   Open metal gate, and click robot. Get orb from wreckage.
10. 

    Drill with the guy multiple times. Get orb.
11. 

    Give to enchanted girl (Dragon Ball Z!)
12. 

    Get ninja in mouth.

Sansungou (Underground world)

1. 

   Open the hatch.
2. 

   Click the mechanical fish's huge head a few times and get key. Key goes in the spirit box above giant ant room.
3. 

   Get pickaxe.
4. 

   Chisle spelled rock and get frog to go down.
5. 

   Go to the room with the scared ninja.
6. 

   Open the door, and then hit ninja again. Get spray.
7. 

   Kill bugs, then use spray to ward off ant.
8. 

   Pull lever to ON pose.
9. 

   Click robot mouth. Get scroll.
10. 

    Sing C, D, E, F, E, D, C, E, F, G, A, G, F, E.
11. 

    Use scroll on tadpole.
12. 

    Click ninja.

Game Ending

I am in the undreground deal and I keep playing the notes like it's written and nothing is happening! I am getting frustrated...the camera view wont' hold still!! ARG!

Is Warashimata supposed to be hard? I have no idea where/ who the green guy is. I break the baby's (?) earphones but nothing else happens o.o

I cannot find this stupid KEY in the fish's mouth in underground world! I keep clicking, but nothing happens! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem on the level with the guy with the headphones and the gas mask...

*What* 'green guy'? I've broken the headphones, but don't see any 'green guy' This is the only level I have left, too. I've tabbed all over, and all I see is the two holding hands, the mushroom guy, the somersaulter on the big guy's back, and the one that keeps throwing either soda cans (or batteries) can't tell at the guy crawling on the big guy's back. None of them do anything but their little animation.

The power of posting again. Turns out what I was looking for apparently only shows up if you maximize the window you're playing the game in. :-/

For the green guy thing: maximize your window and he will be at the very right

I just need to know how to expand to full screen because I can't see the top part of the big farting guy or the green guy, please post how.

OMG I finally finished. I did like it...although I don't care for scenes that keep moving and such. All in all a fun and beautifully artistic game!

how do you get past the first multi-color screen that shows the time in the top left corner and has some Japanese text in the middle?

Could someone please explain what to do on the initial test-bar pattern!?
I did it once, but I have no idea what I did.

Yes, I agree with lecarl - one of the better games since samrost. I really enjoyed the fact that this game sometimes made NO SENSE! eg... why would a bear attack an ape? Is that a 'godzilla' thing?? But then at times it made complete sense as the ape was defeated through bananas! Just crazy!

Congrats to the creator. Job well done.

Loaded all the levels up, got through part of the monkey level, and firefox froze up on me after having complained several times about a slow flash script. grr. I give up.

Finished! I really liked this one ^^ Now I'll try to get a better place on the rank!

Hello, how do you maximize your screen? Anybody?

finished! needed one hint, due to a bug (?) in underground land:

underground the fish never gave up the key until I left that land and went back. So i had to see in the spoiler that I needed a key from the fish to figure this out.

PLEASE, somebody tell me, how do I MAXIMIZE my screen? That's all I want to know. How do I MAXIMIZE my screen? SOMEBODY! This is getting frustrating.

Very, very fun game: managed to finish in 37 minutes. :) I love the ending.

I've followed all the steps in the walkthrough, but "singing" the song doesn't change anything for me. is it a bug or am I missing something?

evelle, try turning off your pop up blocker, I belive that is the problem. When you click on them the game pauses and a window pops up so that is probably what happened.

It's a great game, but I've gotten a bit stuck.

On the planet, I've gotten every orb except the one for the third to last space. The instructions from the walkthrough say: "Give monkey bone. Click monkey, and then the thing next to the orb. Get orb." There's a spent rocket next to a ball. Is that what I should be clicking? If so, why can't I?

There are three devices to the right of the rube goldberg contraption. You want to click on the leftmost one, after you give the monkey the bone.

I'm having the same problem as syen and alien orb. Could the walkthrough writer please explain further?

This is rediculous, I finally manage to expand my screen thanks to Harukio and I still can't find the green guy on the first game. And the tab key doesn't help. Could it be my screens too small? Or did I miss a step? Click on the headphones 3 times then wait fro the green guy to fix them, that's what the walkthrough says, so what am I missing?

You have to click the guy to get him to notice and get moving. It should be one of the three (?) people who were next to the baby's butt...He should be visible without needing to expand the screen :)

Well that is just enough for me. No matter where I point and click there is no green guy. All I can click on is the man that talks, the singing twosome, the guy that flips on the back, and the one on the leg who throws cans. Wherever this green guy is, he's not on my screen. Thanks for all your help Harukio, I really appreciate it. I think I'll go play another game that works.

Im having the same problem!! I'm going by what the walkthrough says and i dont see a green guy! I dont understand why there wasnt an more detailed walkthorugh than the one we where given about how to find the green guy!! Seriously I just spent 2 hours on one level trying to find a green guy.........

I'm also having problems with Firefox AND Safari (yes, it's a mac) quitting when the second boss monkey goes to attack. Has anyone got a solution?

the first ball(!) how do you get it?

i like this game a lot! but the problem is, how do i get past the alien part? the writer of the walkthrough isn't that clear about the monkey and bone. i tried clicking on the orb and the thing next to it, but it wouldnt work. also, which leftmost device, by the way? please help! i need it!

to: "alien orb?" wen they say to light up the dots, go to the worshipping monkeys. there's a wall in front with dots. click to light them up. HOPE THAT HELPED!!!!

What do you click on once you have lit the dots?
The walkthrough says click on the bottom middle... click on the bottom middle of what?

Guys-the bone and the monkey. Give the bone to the closest monkey.

About the !GREEN GUY!-He is there, past the weird...child...thing. You have to expand the page to see him. Its a wide scene but the opening screen is too small. Just go to the edge of the pop-op screen and widen it.

MR.WILD BOAR MAN!!! HAHAHA, brilliant! XD this game just roxxorz mah boxxorz!

BTW, in the underground area, you have to click the fish's eye. One worker in the ant area sings "Fisherman's eye is 100 million volts la...la...la..."

im in the city, i cant get in the house with the chinese writing, the screen that pops up doesn't load it keeps saying: loading -7

After some random tabs and enters, finally hit upon the green guy. You can see him if you maximize the window...

I don't know about you guys but my favourite shinobi was Gesshin (the green one). Not necessarily his level, just the char himself XD

Anyone else have a personal favourite?

It's the best game I've played on the internet of all time.

This was a fun game, though I must admit I needed the walkthrough to finish. The comment about turning off the pop up blocker should be added to the walkthrough as it stopped from getting anywhere in the Garden city with the T rex.
