well this one is really good I have yet to beat it but I'm working on it.

okay well so far I get this: At the top of the left tree there is a spider web if you click on it a spider will come out if you let the spider get the crows egg two times the crow will shoot some fire thing that will hit the round thing on the right tree causing it to unroll. I wish I knew more but thats about the only new thing I got so far. Good Luck!

Jay, I have been checking out your site for quite awhile now. I enjoy doing the point and click games that you have. And you have been quite a help on solving them. I am hooked. I do have one question on the walkthroughs that people have been leaving you. They all state to get the carrot down and kill the flies, then go and turn on the two boxes for the UFO. Well there is one flaw with that. You have to get the blob out of the left one before you can turn it on. Am I missing something because everything else seems to be working.

Awesome game! And awesome forum. I certainly wouldn't have made it without help from the 40 of you guys.

I enjoyed the little wisps that run away from your cursor, and the bubble effect when your cursor is under water. If you move your mouse around the lake, it actually slows the game down from all the bubble animation. Might be useful to perfectly describe timing for taking down the UFO and such :)

Ok so i got every thing up to hitting the UFO. I got 'em to freeze the lake but when i try to fill the basket up i cant get another bomb. I just get more rocks. Then the rocks wont blow up when they hit the bottom of the lake. How do I get another bomb into the basket so it blows the wall and drains the lake??? help!!!

I keep doing UFO thing (when you have to click the yellow right button thing) but it keeps abducting my little guy!! What am I missing?
And when I got that right (once, about an hour ago), I couldn't destroy the UFO.

Anyone else have the problem where the carrot doesn't knock the bomb into the lake in order to drain it? The carrot never completely falls, it just dissapears.

No, I've never had that problem. I think the hardest part is blowing up the UFO. I managed about half an hour or so after I found these walkthroughs, but i think they could be improved by exacting the timing 4 that part.

i cant blow up the UFO!!! Its so annoying!! I never pull the lever in time! Someone help plz :(

yeah. it was fun reading the fuss you guys had over this game. This post is like weeks later, but still. I found out about it just recently and beat in by myself in under 2 days. I thought i would do this one myself after cheating on the other two with walkthroughs. I just found this site and it was fun reading your progress from the beginning and seeing you guys freak when a problem didn't seem to have a solution. Thanks for the hour of entertainment that this webpage has brought me.

thanks for the help, i got stuck on a few parts.. once i discovered the bomb's 'flames' didn't set the lake on fire i began to look for a way to freeze it, but never thought of using the UFO

also in this hapland anyone else kill off all their characters within seconds the first couple of turns? i almost gave up right there.

yo Luke for the right timing you click the UFO then just as its about to leave the screen, just after the machanics tower thing then use the sheild then fire the rock

nici, you must first click the window, click the spider web in the tree, then click the spider, than immediately click the bird he'll go after the carrot, then the spider will go down and try to eat the birds egg, then as the spider climbs back up the bird shoots lazers out its eyes, but it misses the spider and releases the ladder

Here you go guys... A complete, comprehensive walkthrough. Everything that you guys have on here, plus a litle more.

Start by clicking on the guy on the top of the tower. (he should now be on the right side) Click on the carrot. Quickly click on the top of the box under him. (this should make him drop the carrot in the cave) ********Timing********** Click the flies before they take the carrot. (this should make the slug come down) ********Timing********** Click on the right side of the box. (should cover the cave entrance) Click on the man at the lever (on the bottom of the tower) until the second carrot shows. Have the man at top of the tower eat this carrot. Click on the man at the lever again until the red arrow shows up. Click on the arrow. (this should make the man at top of tower go down next to UFO) Click on the connectors for the UFO (both of them) (the UFO should fly) **********Timing************** click on the UFO, then immediatly click on the right yellow circle on the bottom of the box. (the UFO should pick up the stone, drop it on the land mine, the man runs into the house, the rocks covering the red thing in the cave should fall off) **********Timing************** Now, ring the doorbell to get the guy to come out again. Click on him once more to get him to go back to the top of the tower. Click on him again once he is on top of the tower. (he should be on the left side of the tower.) Click on the guy at the lever until you see the shield. Click on the connector for the green arrow. Click on the guy at the lever. (the green arrow should flash, the guy will swim across the pond) Click on the tube above the guy at the lever. **************Timing********************** Click on the UFO. Click on the guy at the top of the tower when the UFO is just before the mechanic tower (has a wrench on it) Immediatly click on the guy at the lever. (a rock should shoot at the guy at the top of the tower, bounce off his shield and blow up the UFO, which freezes the pond) **************Timing*********************** Click on the shield again and then click on the lever guy so that a rock bounces into the basket hanging above the lever. Repeat this process so that a spikey bomb bounces into the basket. Click on the light bulb above the door next to the lever guy. (he should try to open it, fail, and get kicked onto the frozen pond, and then walk back to his original lever) Click the gear in the middle of the box. (it spins) Click the right yellow button on the bottom of the box (a rock shoots out and stops right on the lever in front of the door) Click the connector for the lever. Click the lever guy until what looks like a cherry bomb comes up. (the guy at the top of the tower should still be on the left side) Click on the "cherry bomb" (the guy throws it, melting the pond) Click the spider web in the leaves at the top left of the screen. (a spider comes out) Click the window at the top left of the screen. (a carrot drops out) **************Timing***************** Click on the spider and then immediatly click on the crow. (the crow knocks the carrot into the basket and then shoots a laser at the spider (?!) making a "ladder" comedown from the tree, the basket drops ont the rock, falls into the pond, draining the pond when the spikey bomb explodes) *************Timing***************** Click on the connector for the green arrow. Click on the lever guy (he should go down into the drained pond) Click the leaves at the top right of the screen. (a bomb drops and blows up the UFO landing pad) Click on the bell above the mechanic's door. (mechanic runs down to fix the landing pad) Click on his door to lock the mechanic out of his house. (he should go to where the arrow is still pointing upwards) Click on the Mechanic (he climbs the ladder) Click on him again (he burns the vine going fom tree to tower) Click on him again (he goes down ladder) Click on red arrow (it should now point to the Mechanic's house) Click on the box in the cave. (it opens) Click on the metal cover over the right side of the cave (the one near the Mechanic's house) Click on the mechanic (he goes into the cave) ****************Timing**************** Click on the mechanic (he goes into the box and comes out riding a cup or something) Click on the red thing hanging from cave ceiling as the "cup" rolls by. (a red glow should be in the "cup") Click on the lever guy when the "cup" is under the original cave hole. (weird stuff happens) ********************Timing***************** Click on the gear that isnt moving (the one on the right side) Do NOT click on the sign until it says click here.

I have figured out the lake mystery.
Before you shoot down the basket, go over to the other side when the ice is there and hit the little "bolt" in the middle of the crate and set off the rock it should bounce on the ice to the other side. Once its there hit the switch till the bomb comes use it and it will melt the lake,then switch it back to the shield. Swim back over to the side were the rocks at use the shield to knock down the basket and the boot atomaticly hits it into the lake, it slowly sinks down and it eventually blows up, emptying the lake.... I dont know what to do from there. But the lakes empty.

Whenever I click the spider then crow it shoots the ladder down but it doesn't drain the pool :( Im doing it in the same order as the walkthrough left by dj and I dont think it's my timing. What am I doin wrong?? :(

I succesfully completed the game.
I got the timing rite. It is a wonderful game.

The crow doesnot drain the pool, you have to freeze the pool and then break the ice by the bomb. The second bomb the levver man shoots will take care of it.

as soon as the guy in the cup thing is under the red bloby thingy click the red bloby thing and then the steam will turn red. the as soon as the cup is trying to get up the little hill click the man at the lever were the water was and wala you almost beat it...

ok you wanna now whats next. you will see one gear thing turning ware the wall crashed. click on the redish almost rusty colour gear thing the the right a bit. the press the button when it says to press it.

No one has mentioned this (I hope) but when I do the carrot thing and i get rid of the flies a green thing jumps out of the water and eats the carrot :( I think it falls out of the left UFO switch.

I guess I'm the only poster here who can't understand what to do because I don't comprehend the lingo; I'm an idiot. I've stared at the screen but still don't know what's meant by the UFO, a toilet (?), a shell, basket, a "do not click" sign, which "thing" is the bomb, where the "mine" is, etc. I can follow a walkthrough only to a point, because I don't have a frame of reference on locales. I just don't get it. Does this make ANY sense at all and could someone please help me? I feel like I need a map of sorts, just to identify what each object is. Thanks, anyone.

This is by far one of the Web's most wonderful and most frustrating puzzles you'll ever play.

Even with a walkthrough it's a challenge. You'll know the UFO when you get to that point, believe me. Take it one step at a time. Even with directions you'll require trial and error to get it right. Good luck. =D

i have completed the game, and i was just wondering if anyone knows why you have to burn the vine. it doesnt seem to do any good to the ending, but i havent tried it without burning it.

ok ok i need help...when u get to the mechanic up by the red arrow thats facing up, u click on him and hes suppose to climb a ladder then click him again to light the rope....well theres no ladder and i did the walk through step by step...so i need help!!!

I have completed the game.

1. do the thing where you make the carrot go in to the cave and kill the flies
2. activate the ufo pads
3. click on the crate to get the little bridge
4. have the platform man eat the other carrot
5. have him go next to the ufo
6. click on the ufo so it tries to abduct him then immediatly click on the rightmost yellow button beneath the crate
7. the stone will roll the ufo will abduct it and the platform man will run into the house and flush the toilet to expose the bomb maker.
8. then do the thing with the shield where you blow up the ufo and the lake freezes.
9. then shoot a rock and the bomb into the basket.
10. turn on the light so the stick guy will go back
11. hit the gear on the crate and let the other stone roll
12. have the platform man to get the bomb and thaw the lake
13. do the spider and crow thing to make the basket fall and land on the stone and drain the lake
14. make the stick guy to go to the bottom of the drained lake
15. hit the big tree to make the fruit fall and hit the ufo pad
16. hit the bell to make the mechanic come down and close the door behind him
17. make him climb the ladder and burn the vine
18. make him get down and open the gate between the house and the fixed ufo pad
19. open the box in the cave
20. put the mechanic in the cave
21. hit the mechanic so he goes in the box and comes out with a cart thing.
22. hit the bomb maker so the orange bomb thing falls into the cart
23. then when the cart goes over the bump hit the stick guy in the drained lake and a green thing will come out of the dome and fall into the cart
24. the cart will turn into monster thing chases the mechanic and breaks the wall with the big black symbol
25. then a button will appear that says DO NOT PRESS so click the small gear on the side of it and a blue button will appear that says PRESS
26. press the blue button and the screen will change colors and then you have saved hapland and won the game

I could not have beaten this game if it weren't everyone who posted stuff about hapland 3 on this website and helping me when I was stuck.

Follow these instructions:

Click on the stickman beside the carrot to make it walk to right and click on the carrot, before he eats it, click the top of the box below to hit the carrot down to the cave and at the same time click the 2 yellow flies before they take away the carrot.
Click the leverman until you see another carrot, click stickman to eat it.
Click on the right side of the box to release a flap
Click leverman again until you see the arrow. Click the other red arrow to face right
Click the arrow above the stickman and the stickman will go down
Activate both the hover pads
Click on the UFO and when it gonna abduct the stickman, click on the right yellow button under the box so that it abduct the rolling stone instead and the landmine exploded and the stickman run into the house and flush the toilet
Click the doorbell, click on the stickman again so that it go up the platform
Click stickman again so that it goes left
Click leverman until you see shield
Click on the switch beside the green arrow and click on leverman
Click the tube to bend upwards
Click on the UFO, when it fly out of the screen, click on the shield and click on the leverman so that the stone will hit the UFO and freezes the pond. (Timing is required)
Click on the shield and click the leverman two more times and this will shoot a rock and a black bomb, bounce off the shield into the basket
Turn on the light above the door and the stickman will go back to the other side
Click the gear on the center of the box and click the left yellow button to launch a wheel to other side of the lake
Click the switch on beside the green arrow again and pull the lever until you see red bomb, click on the bomb
Click the leaves above the crow and spider will come out
Click on the window to drop carrot
Click the spider then at the same time click the crow. Timing is important again, it sequence are done correctly then the crow will shoot down a ladder and drain the lake
Click the switch beside the green arrow again to make leverman go down to the bottom of the lake
Click the top of the right tree to drop fruit destroy the hover pad.
Click on the bell and the mechanic will come down to repair, when he is outside, close the door behind him
When he is at the red arrow, click him will climb up the ladder
Click him again will burn the vine
Click him again he will come down
Click arrow twice to point right
Open the gate between bathroom window and repaired hover pad
Click on the left of the crate in the cave
Click the mechanic to go down the cave

Last part is the hardest, again timing is very important. Click on the mechanic, when the cart just underneath the red blob, click on it and the orange doughnut will drop into the cart, when the cart move to the left cave and just before the opening of cave, press the leverman in the bottom of the lake so that a green doughnut will drop into the cart and release the monster which eventually smash the bottom right cave and reveal a do not press green button.

Do not push the button because it will blow up the guy in the cave.
You can still finish even if you do, but if you let him live, you can see some concept art for all 3 Hapland games at the end.
Click the gear at the bottom right to change the sign to blue press button.
Now press it and shout i did it!

oh wow what a trilogy! it took me ages to beat the first 2 and now the third has me stumped. will figure it out eventually though. are there any plans for hapland 4?

if you click the switches control, (beside the green arrow)and then click the man under the green arrow, the green arrow will blink and the man will swim to the door across the water. but i can't find out that if you pull the switch, something shoots out of it. also, if you turn the light on above the door, the man will open the door, be knocked into the water, and will die by the monster in the container.

Sorry, but I know nothing about Vista. Contact Microsoft to see what they recommend for getting Flash games to work with their operating system.

WOW, that was wierd! when i exploded the lake bottom it kept on exploding over and over...and over... and over..and over again!!!

I get all the way through but the mechanic will not climb up and burn the vine!!!

Why any ideas? and in the walk through it mentions that he should climb a ladder! what ladder? also mentins the crow and ladder is this just meant to mean tree?

anyway, still won't do it but everything else is done right!

heh, just found a glitch.

if you manage to use the top of the crate to hit the platform just as the guy on top touches the carrot, the guy will return to normal then the carrot disappears.

Hello, I completed the game up to the point where you drop the green blob in the rolling robot/cup/bowl/cart thing, once I dropped the blob in the robot, the red glow turned green, but nothing else happened except for the top of the robot exploding and killing the mechanic, and the wheels on the robot continuing to spin. Could guide me in the right direction?

P.S.
could you specify about how long it takes for the "sign" to come up?

Ok, I click the carrot and he grabs it. Then I click the top of the box and carrot goes into water... but then what? Where are the 'flies' ?

How do i end the game?????

anonymous~ you need to click on the man first, so he moves over to thje side of the platform.that way when the carrot falls it falls in the cave not in the water. i had that problem when i first did it. hopes this helps

guys in the walkthroughs people usually leave out that when you're trying to get the ufo to abduct the wheel you have click the ufo then WHEN THE EXCLAMATION MARK APPEARS ABOVE THE GUYS HEAD THEN YOU PRESS THE BUTTON, don't press it straight away. Just trying to help yours sincerely me.

hapland 3 steps 1-26
1.Click on the top stickman on the left side of the screen now he should be at the right click the carrot and when he is holding the carrot hit the top of the box underneath him the carrot will fall down when its on the bottom two flies will come click them before they get the carrot the bug should come eat them and the carrot now the switch is free.
2. Activate the ufo pads.
3.Click on the right side of the crate to get the little bridge.
4.Click on the man at the lever to get to the other carrot and get the man on the platform to eat it.
5.Click on the lever man until the red arrow appears and click it so that the man goes down to the ufo.
6.Click on the ufo so it tries to abduct him then when the exclamation mark appears above his head click on the rightmost yellow button beneath the crate.
7.The stone will roll the ufo will abduct it and the platform man will run into the house and flush the toilet to expose the bomb maker.
8.Point the pipe at the right of the screen upwards and get the guy on the platform to go to the left, then click the lever guy so that there is a shield above the platform guy.
9.Click the switch above the lever guy then get him to pull the lever(now he should go to the other lever), then click the ufo, then when the ufo just goes out of the screen quickly click the shield and the guy at the lever and that should destroy the space ship and freeze the lake.
10.Then shoot a rock and the bomb into the basket using the same technique with the shield.
11.Turn on the light so the stick guy will go back.
12.When the stick guy is walking on the ice hit the gear on the crate and let the other stone roll by pressing the other button.
13.Have the platform man to get the bomb and thaw the lake
14.Click the spider web in the corner then open the window in the tree click the spider then quickly click the crow that should get the ladder down but if u timed it wrong the bird will just kill the spider.
15.Make the stick guy to go to the bottom of the drained lake.
16.Hit the big tree to make the fruit fall and hit the ufo pad.
17.Hit the bell to make the mechanic come down then when he walks out you need to close the door behind him.
18.After he discovers that his door is locked and he walks a bit and stops click on him which should make him climb the ladder then click him again to make him burn the vine.
19.Make him get down and open the gate between the house and the fixed ufo pad.
20.Open the box in the cave.
21.Put the mechanic in the cave.
22.Hit the mechanic so he goes in the box and comes out with a cart thing.
23.Hit the bomb maker so the orange bomb thing falls into the cart.
24.Then when the cart goes over the bump hit the stick guy in the drained lake and a green thing will come out of the dome and fall into the cart.
25.The cart will turn into monster thing that chases the mechanic and breaks the wall with the big black symbol. 26.Then a button will appear that says DO NOT PRESS so click the small gear on the side of it and a blue button will appear that says PRESS, press the blue button and the screen will change colours and then you have saved hapland and won the game.

There are a few videos on You Tube of the entire episode, which might be helpful to some. You can pause and rewind to your hearts content until you figure out the sequences required. Too bad you can't play them in slow motion ;-)

Is there anyway to save the game at a particular spot, so you don't have to start from the beginning?

this would be impossible without the walkthrough, totally impossible, and i wont believe anyone who says the beat it without
