Weekday Puzzle N°57
Welcome to Weekday Puzzle!
NateTheGreat88's puzzler is all about combinations of two snails't trails and moving boxes. Then comes senokos with a short story which moves forward by playing with words, and then Joqlepecheur cute and sweet platformer - yes platformers can be cute too. Bonus game is again by senokos and is very short and sad.
Have a good time and enjoy!
Snail Trail
Puzzler by NateTheGreat88 features two snails which are trying to reach their respective flag. It isn't a competition, they need to collaborate - their trails cannot be crossed and they need to help each other. The game isn't about their trails only, the snails have to get around obstacles or move them, and also push switches in the right time.
Controlled by Arrow keys, R to restart a level, Space bar to switch between snails, no save option, 16 levels.
The Readers Encounter
Few weeks ago we played an excellent game Start With Nothing in WE N°52. This week you again start with nothing in senokos' short story about reading between the lines, secret knowledge and manipulating words. The game has a hint system which activates after five manipulations with a word.
Controlled by a mouse, 10 gamescreens, no save option.
StomaccAndFriends
In Joqlepecheur's platformer you need to feed one of your protagonists with a honeycomb to clear a level. The platformer is like any other - you jump, try to avoid obstacles and enemies, but much more creative, and the combination of adorable blobs, cute soundtrack, eye pleasing graphics and tiny jokes makes it special.
Controlled by WASD/Arrow keys, no save option.
P.S. For the players who missed one of the best games posted in 2021, try Detective GUI. You won't be disappointed. It is a platformer but not demanding at all, and suitable even for players not fond of them and/or not good at them.
Bonus game is an extrashort - well, it depends - existencial anti-Tamagotchi game The Creature Dies by senokos.
"The Readers Encounter" is clever, especially if you like puzzles and word games all in one place. The background music suits the mood of the game as well. Senokos did a fine job on this -- only wish it were longer. It's a serious cliffhanger!
