Thanks, chiktionary, for the walkthrough!

Nice graphics and atmosphere, but having gone through 2/3s of the game in little over 3 minutes, I couldn't be bothered with the rest. It's mostly dialogue with a light sprinkling of puzzles with a difficulty level marginally higher than Super PSTW. Make an actual game out of this scenery, and you'll have me hooked.

@LuckyDee --

I agree. The style is nice, but (with a single exception toward the end) the game consists of the same three or four "puzzles" over and over again. It's almost a tutorial for point-and-click adventures rather than a full-fledged game, which trains you to identify the potential functions of objects based upon their shape rather than their nominative functions.

Don't waste your time with this tedious game. The same three puzzles over and over, use a wedge, use a cane, us a disc of some sort, use a bucket, punch something.

And I couldn't help but be annoyed at not only the non-stop dialog but also how insultingly cliche it was.

Have to agree with everything that's been said above...

:(

bio

I love the artwork style, but pretty much all aspects of the gameplay are considerably poor. Loved the..

water puzzle

..though!

I don't want to discourage the developer(s), I like the general idea and would definitely play a sequel.

I was actually enjoying this game a lot more than other people seemed to be, but there seems to be a glitch, either with my computer or the game. In the Metro, I can not, for the life of me,

click on either the red button or the pipe. I mean, I can click all I like, with all three characters, but absolutely nothing happens. They just walk back in forth.

Has anybody else had this problem?

The game was repetitive and the dialog tedious, but as a french, I found it hilarious...and eventually quite objective ! But I didn't finished it : as said earlier, the same puzzles over and over, with way too much dialog.

Me, too, Kirstenite Leader.

There's no red button at all on the pipes in the middle of the screen, even when I reload.

Pity...it's a little TOO simple, but the graphics are gorgeous and the dialog makes me giggle.

I only played this game because I thought maybe it would include some of the very interesting cabaret culture from the time in terms of interesting characters, but then it ended up being a poor example of the three vikings genre type, and yes, cliche and rather boring. Pretty, but, so what?

pretty good game but too many dialogues and some mistakes in french sentences (i'am french)

Is it just me, or is this game insanely unresponsive? It seems to take an age for anything to happen on my machine, which is a couple of months old if that.

@Kirstenite Leader, JustMe:
What are you both talking about? I remember seeing keyholes for those gear-shaped keys. And in the final part you need e lever to activate the controls. No red buttons..

I don't think it's just you, Dr. Curiosity. All I got was an ad and then ... nothing. Then a dialog box for the browser saying that Flash was unresponsive. Sounds like I might not be missing much.

As a lover of all things french, I thought I would enjoy this game but I ended up disappointed :( The puzzles were VERY repetitive and also buggy. Items would often disappear from my inventory when I switched rooms, forcing me to reload the whole chapter. At least the dialogue was cute (I chuckled at a "crime of poisson") and the artwork was pretty.

It was really well made, if simple. I could finish it! :)

The game worked fine for me, didn't get any bugs. And I liked it. There's not many point and click adventures like this nowadays. I wish it'd have more levels. or that some of the levels would be more difficult to solve, so the game doesn't end so quickly. The dialogs explain too much for my taste, and the "french accent" gets boring after a while. But other than that I'd give it four and a half stars, considering that most flash adventure games are pretty lame, so its good to see something like this every now and then.

Ummm, not sure about this game. I liked the graphics and the theme, but i felt like every level was practically the same.
