Katamari Damacy mini-game An official Katamari Damacy mini-game is now available on Namco's Japanese website. It appears to have been designed to illustrate the main concept of the game, which is to joyfully roll the katamari over smaller objects to collect them and make the katamari bigger so that you can then roll over even larger objects. To this end it works quite well; however, the mini-game does not even come close to the fun of the original. [Read Review]

Prince of Persia A version of the original Prince of Persia game recreated in Flash. The original game, created by Jordan Mechner and released in 1989, used an animation technique called rotoscope to give the characters human-like qualities. It was also a lot of fun to play. This special Flash edition isn't quite the whole experience, but you should be able to at least get a taste of what the original was like. [Read Review]

CP6 It's been a rough day for CP6, the pixelly titular star of Gametron Studios' new platform game. A tough but fair retro game with interesting art, and gobs of addictiveness to balance out its frustrations. [Read Review]

Crazy Doors of Rainbow Colors A rather unusual escape game that allows the player to temporarily detach from in-the-box thinking; in order to escape you must find and follow a new sort of logic, one that is strange yet intuitive. Kidnapped For Life In this short scape game, your ransom is a small but diverse smattering of puzzles such as kakuro, code-breaking and a jigsaw puzzle. You'll enjoy finding all the pieces so you can assemble his visage at the end. On the flip side, your abductor probably takes delight in tormenting you by surreptitiously concealing essential tools from your view. You can almost hear his hollow laughter as you scrutinize every secret recess and puzzle over the gathered clues. When you get right down to it, being held captive in a locked room, forced to decipher arcane clues lest you be stuck there forever, is quite akin to kidnapping, ain't it? [Read Review]

Necronomicon: Book of Dead Names While it's fairly similar to the original, particularly because a lot of the art assets are recycled, Book of Dead Names helps update the Necronomicon formula and add a lot of much-needed depth. The difficulty might turn some players off, especially since as a card game it's possible to lose matches by simply not getting the cards you need, but it's still worth a look for card game and Lovecraft fans alike.
