For those who enjoyed the previously reviewed Ambivalence, there's a brand new game, Confined, just released today from the same author, FonGeBooN. This appears to be a fairly standard point-and-click room escape game until you dig a little deeper. From what I can tell so far, pixel hunting is minimal (though present), instead the focus is on puzzle solving, which is always a plus when it comes to games like this. And although the author is Japanese, there doesn't appear to be any language barrier in this game, which is another plus.
Please help us make it through to the end by posting your spoilers, hints and tips in the comments. First one with a well-formatted walkthrough for the game receives a free game from Big Fish Games. But the walkthrough must be in your own words (no stealing from other sites), and the best formatted walkthrough gets the prize (so break out those HTML skills and use list elements to make it pretty). Play Confined.
Cheers to Irene, the first to post a well-formatted walkthrough. She receives a coupon for any game free from Big Fish Games. =)

how do you get back to rooom 1?
I've got half of the clue about LOVE, but I can't find the other one.
The game is so swamped that I can't access the site due to high traffic. I really want to try this too.
garlinger626 -
to get the balls on the puzzle, you need

My progress on the LOVE puzzle:

veggienewt, you have to

About the LOVE Puzzle:

I have the second half of the LOVE puzzle, let's put them together XD

minmay, how did you get that

To get hot water:

agrwife, look on

So now we can nail that cupboard puzzle...
Ah...thanks for that Irene

So the cupboard puzzle...we have

Thanks. Tried that a too many times and never could get it to do anything.
Well, this is interesting.

Right side of left cushion does nothing for me. CLicked it like 20 times.

I have the pencil finally! What to do with it?
Grr. Can't get

Can I get some specific instructions on that?
I got it! Whew, that was fun... I wonder if I have the time to write the walkthrough before someone beats me to it?
[Edit: Do your best with it, Irene, and take your time. If it's a good one, I'll be sure you're rewarded. :) -Jay]

Well, for the cupboard puzzle I have

but nothing has happened, so maybe i've done something wrong
To get the second word:

It's sooooo annoying how the game doesn't seem to let you do that until you've made a certain amount of progress.
This was kind of a fun game -- although the couple of 'pixel hunt' elements really annoy me...like clicking on a big black surface.
Also, I am pretty good at most strategy games, however the slider games (for some reason) always give me trouble. That was enough (after 10 minutes of trying) to make me give up.
so i seem to have had the code right...how do you enter it? I've put the tiles over the letters, but nothing has happened
JasonMPA, I had to

jakob1978, looks like your math is wrong...
Stuck at the moment, currently have:

Tape
complete maze puzzle (use red pencil and it will color the path)
extended screwdriver
cup (add hot water and a "P" appears)
wrench
bent paper clip
flashlight
picture (hold it in the hot water to reveal a clue)
red pencil (from room two, use the extended screwdriver to push the wall where the hole with the gold key is, this will push the pencil to the front of the safe)
tap valve (remove it with the wrench, you can switch it between cold and hot water this way, the thing above the sink is a water heater)
Hmmm...well this is what I have

There appears to not be a unique solution to the math puzzle:

And I can't figure out what

I also can't do anything with the clock, no matter how many times I click. Oh well.
ive got it all but pain i click the clock and it dosen't work i want to write a walk through but the clock is busted i need to call a repair man if only i could find the door to let him in
Benabik, I found a couple of loose ends in the puzzle as well.

Shuffledog:

Benabik:

The clock doesn't work for me either. /shrug
Bloatedsack: Doing that gets me the same thing as minmay, namely

Which isn't terribly useful.
To get the clock to work:

Once you've solved the number puzzle, you can figure out the code for the door.

Interesting.

But it's progress!
I tried putting in junk, and

so... progress?
I found one other answer for the cupboard equation.
8415 + 637 = 9052. Of course, it's the other equation that is the 'right' answer.
Still trying to get out??

D'oh. I forgot that the number pad itself has a clue.
Thanks, generic geek girl
Ah...thanks generic geek girl, never occured to me that
not a bad game, but some flaws -

The worst part is, I was really confident I was going to be the first one to post the walkthrough and get the free game. But since other people beat it before me, it's hopeless.
...well, that's the worst part for me, I guess, not for anyone else.
For some reason I always play these room escape games, even though I end up hating them. This one in particular had too many obscure solutions to be fun. I'd like to one day see a room escape game where all the puzzles actually make sense.
Also I never want to play a sliding-block puzzle ever again.
Don't wan't to double post but managed to get out thanks to the hints

I can't get to the part where you use the clip on the clock as minmay said I should be able to, so I don't have the second word per se.
For the actual code to get out, make sure you aren't missing any clues, especially obvious ones (like the actuall word to get out with)

Did it. I liked the game a lot- cheated a little on the slider puzzle with this free software thingy as it was taking me years, but other than that (and a few hints here!) I found it nicely logical. Good distraction. Only trouble is I was meant to be working, damn it!
Walkthrough! - Part 1
Getting Started

Opening the door

jakob1978: I was assuming the diagram in the book was to tell you that

And the pencil's not totally redundant: you can

I hope no one has posted the walkthrough already...
finished it. after i solved it i hit my head with a large book.

It seems I'm late for the walkthrough... though I can't really figure out why

so I couldn't complete it.
gotta say that the slider puzzle is a total dealbreaker on this one. they're difficult and unnessary and frustrating when done normally, but this one is redonkulous.

It's my first walkthrough so hopefully I didn't make any mistakes.
