iconien.gifNoahAn intense, fast-paced action game from developer f1ash, Iconien plays like a modern update to the arcade classic, Missile Command. Put your basic click & drag mouse skills to the test as you defend your base from wave after wave of stubborn missiles, creepy bugs, mindless circles and powerful tanks.

Hold down the left mouse button and drag a box around the incoming projectiles before they reach your base, the strange unsympathetic eyeball in the center of the screen. Releasing the button will destroy whatever you've managed to enclose, or damage your base if it intersects with the box. Move objects by dragging them anywhere on the screen, and collect power ups by placing them on your base.

Like Air Support and Invader360, two f1ash games previously reviewed on JIG, Iconien manages to squeeze as much fun as possible out of a very simple idea. I particularly enjoyed the endless Survival mode, as the Easy and Normal game types both end after you defeat a certain enemy. Click.

red circles go in a fixed direction- if you move them a bit, they won't hit the eye and they will leave the screen.

Its ok, but i keep accedentally killing my base when dragging the box. and i wish I could read the instructions. I'm going to try endless mode now.

fun game, but after a cerain point it gets to the point where its nearly impossible

Finished normal mode : 38180
i like this one !
did anyone find out what's the "F" in circle ?

that game was alright, would be a little better if the entire fire gauge didn't disappear with every little box you make.

I'd rather like to be able to favourite this. >_< Talk about addictive.

Yay! I "beated the tank!"

The F gives you unlimited fires for a short time, the clock stops time, and the heart restores 1 hit.

you can use the powerups by dragging them into the eye. If you "box" them, they will not work.

As always another great find. I just hope you continue this trend of scrolling shooters. To me the actually games are better then point and click. But hope you have a great summer Noah. Glad to know that this game will continue for years to come( i hope)
Good job all of you

fantastic find here.

the PaC games are fun, but i like action games much more, and this is a great game. hope for more like this!

I really liked it, but it plays very slow and jerky in Opera because of wmode=transparent in swf embedding code. Well, the movement suffers, but of course much higher score can be achieved when playing laggy version.

Great site!!! Tons of great games with informative reviews. Keep up the good work!

It's a great game, but I must say it's been the first game in a long time to make me think my computer was slow.
