In the grey stone room you find yourself in at the beginning of the game, you'd expect ghosts and ghouls... but the opposite is true. After solving a few puzzles, you manage to summon the flower fairy. Welcome in Rinnogogo's beautiful and poetic world!
It takes some time before you find the fairy, and even then the fairy takes its time...but we've gotten used to fairies in games being a bit fickle. On the other hand, a fairy can work miracles and turn a gloomy room into a cosy one in no time. And she's not the only fairy you'll meet. Aside from the supernatural creatures, you'll also find a boy in the game who will help you out a bit, but mostly you're on your own.
There are a lot of puzzles to solve and you will need mindfulness and observation because some of the clues to the puzzles may not be clear at first glance and some may be a bit hidden. As in previous games, this one too has a good hint system and autosave.
