The name of the game may sound familiar to some gamers, and yes, you are right. The original Cyadonia by James Newcombe came out fourteen years ago (and two sequels followed), it was very successful and unfortunately in Flash. Now we have the opportunity to play it again and it's a joy!
The game is a sliding block puzzle and we've all played many of these - but Cyadonia combines them all into one game and uses all the possibilities of the genre. You will of course encounter pushable blocks, mines, key-and-lock combinations, bouncy blocks...and so on and on. It has twelve level packs, each pack has at least four chapters and each chapter about ten levels...so, we've got hundreds of levels!
What is really nice about the game and contributes a lot to its playability is its flexibility. You can start anywhere, skip levels and return to them, and unlike similar games, the difficulty doesn't increase. Sure, the first levels are easier, and later on you'll come across some that take some time, but mostly it's more about introducing a new element you need to get familiar with.
The visuals are appealing. The retro graphics add to the game's charm and interest, as each level is completely unique. A perfect relaxing game - enjoy!
