A Walkthrough in Lyrics
(To be sung in 3/4 time - first beat on the 2nd syllable, except for the chorus)

You're trapped in the cellar, as dark as the night
The obvious answer is turn on the light
Now look in the box for some oil and a dollar
It's time to take hold of your fate by the collar!

Some oil on the window, it opens up wide
You take a deep breath as you climb on outside
But leaving so soon is a little bit dumb
Instead, set a trap with a dollar and gum!

CHORUS:
Yurius, Yurius
Hearing that name, hearing that name makes me furious
Yurius, Yurius
Braving his house is a challenge for sure
For your nephew's sake, go and open the door!

There's nothing to do in the kitchen just yet
So check the end tables, a bulb and a net
Now enter the bathroom, door one up the stairs
You can't use the toilet, but right now who cares?

You don't want to reach in the bathtub at all
So dip in the net for a big bowling ball
Some all-purpose cleaner sits under the sink
The bulb's for the socket above, don't you think?

Repeat chorus

Right next to the bathroom's the room with the bed
But turn on the light, aren't you using your head?
The desk has some papers, there's one you can take
It seems to be blank, but that notion is fake!

Remember the bulb in the bathroom you placed?
Just show it the paper and this problem's faced!
A four-digit code, but just where does it go?
Look under the bed, and I'm sure that you'll know!

Repeat chorus

The kitchen's the door down the stairs, you recall
But everything's locked, nothing's open at all!
So hammer the cupboard and you've got a key
And once you have used it, the fridge door is free!

A box in the fridge, locked with digits of eight
You haven't seen anything like it-- but wait!
A statue upstairs is all covered in rust
So clean it, and you'll see eight digits, I trust!

Repeat chorus

There's one door neglected, upstairs at the back
A vampire is sleeping, and he wants a snack
Some blood's what he asked for, but ketchup will do
And now you can pick up that airplane, yahoo!

Oh, wouldn't you know it! The exit is blocked!
That Yurius fellow deserves to be clocked!
Now what have you got that can finish the job?
A bowling ball, maybe? So give it a lob!

Repeat chorus

No one should need a walkthrough for this.

why not? I don't know where to go, who to see, what items to collect, where to put them, etc.

The game's not THAT easy. I was stuck trying to change the bulb in the bedroom for ages until I googled a video play-thru.

I don't know how I feel about that. Impressed, sure. A little concerned?

Here is a simpler walkthrough:

0: Knock on door
1: Turn on light, get (Oil) and (Dollar Bill) from Box
2: Use (oil) on window, go out window
3: Use (Dollar Bill) on the gum, knock on the door
4: Go in, open furniture doors, you should find a (Blacklight) and a (Butterfly Net)
5: Go up the stairs, take the second door into the study
6: Collect a (piece of paper), then leave the room
7: Take the first door into the bathroom
8: Get the (Lemon Cleaner) from the cupboard under the sink
9: Use the (Net) on the bathtub filled with blood, you'll get a (Bowling Ball)
10: Put the (Black Light) in the empty socket above the mirror
11: Use the piece of paper on the Black Light, you'll find a code, the code changes each time the game is played and is 4 digits only.
12: Go to the second room, the study, and look under the bed for the briefcase, use the code on the briefcase. You get a (Hammer).
13: Go out into the hallway, use the (Lemon Cleaner) on the statue. You'll get two dates. These form an eight digit code:

(1-7-8-5-1-8-8-4)

14: Go downstairs and into the Kitchen. Use the (Hammer) on the stuck cupboard, and get the (Key).
15: Use the (Key) on the Fridge, and click on the lockbox. Use the code from the statue to unlock it, and get (ketchup).
16: Go back upstairs, and take the last unexplored room all the way to the right
17: You will see the plane. A vampire will stop you, so give him the (Ketchup), then take the plane and leave the house
18: You'll see the crazy scientist blocking your way. Use the (Bowling Ball) on him, and you will win the game.
