Interesting little game. Didn't quite understand it, but I enjoyed the atmosphere of it.
Drugs and programming sometimes give nice results.
Well, I'm not sure what I was doing in a couple of places but I seem to have finished, so... yay?
It was REALLY short.
Nice to see a game from Korea!^^
Does anyone know how to solve the panel with the colored lights on the far right side of level 3?
@jaisgamed
click each of the numbered dots, then the dot of the same color connected by that colored line
Seemed interesting, but then I hit the reel-to-reel panel with the dots, and just could not do it fast enough. Ah well.
I enjoyed this and would like to see more! Oddly enough, I felt this game was greatly inspired by both Sword & Sworcery and Fez!
Well that was very... colourful.
When you get back to "outside" and there are stars, that was my favourite scene in terms of prettiness.
Not to mention when
The technicolour sword suddenly dropped down and revealed that the robot thing was cake the whole time. At least, I think that was what happened.
Stuck on level 2 after the music session. The three bars with the diamond above it, cannot work it out at all. Any help?
There's a clue in that same room, but it's tiny.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this game got its rating for swears or for blood? It looks interesting, but I'd like to know that before I play it. Thanks in advance! :)
@Camille Kay Hollister
It did not get its rating for swear words. I do not remember seeing any of those. I will assume it got its rating for blood.
@shjack180:
Perfect. Thanks!
That had some pain-in-the-tuchus moments; I never did figure out how I got out of the reel-to-reel room, I just kept wandering and poking at things and eventually the door opened... But I liked it, for the most part.
I like the art style- geometry, symmetry, nature, and robots. Great colors and atmosphere.
If only the creators had given the player a reason for solving these puzzles and doing... whatever it is that the player does in this game.
This game has the elements of a spectacular game, some of the most interesting art and sound choices, and it is fun. Still, it could be so much better with more plot details. The title "I Was On The Throne" made it sound like there was a story there, but the game is more art. My personal preference is plot over style.
That said, I can see value in the unique and beautiful style choices that IWOTT makes. The game IS art. The sound effects are really well done. The puzzles are puzzling. Just... it would be more immersive, more compelling, and more interesting with a reason why.
Music and ambient sounds were fantastic! Puzzles were pretty good, sometimes not enough cues to know even where to look.
Nice trees, nice sound. Liked the sound of footsteps as I walked back and forth between antler-man and the box on the first screen...for 10 minutes.
Could not figure out anything. Didn't see anything to help me in the background or on the trees or the cord or the boxes. Wasn't able to change anything or pickup anything or do anything. Except make the antler-man... shield? themselves.
I guess I'm not smart enough for this game.
Chapel
Click and hold on that antler creature until he pops
This was a lovely, if a little confusing at times, challenge and I really enjoyed playing until I got the the scene with the spinning crystal. Having watched a walkthrough video in desperation I suspect I encountered a glitch and could not finish the game.
Even having highlighted all the blue shapes the crystal would not flash into its different colours.
It's a shame really because I would have loved to have finished it.
Agreed. I'm staring at this revolving crystal and trying to decide if restarting to get around the bug is worth that dang tape machine again. It's a charming little game, but there's game mechanics that just don't work with a trackpad.
