Well, I'm on the verge of giving up. The mazelike, nonlinear layout of the "levels" makes it difficult if at all possible to tell which way I need to go to progress in the game. I can't keep track of everything in my head...
...especially when I've got to keep track of two mazes at the same time!
I. am. hopelessly lost.
Mazes are hard enough to keep track of when each level or room is put together as the should be, but they're even worse when each screen is jumbled into pieces. The signs pointing in conflicting directions definitely don't help.
And I can't figure out if I'm supposed to keep track of two separate mazes or one in which the girl traverses it by daylight and the boy by night. Shoot, at one point I saw the boy when I played as the girl, and he was a spectre, but I couldn't get to him.
This whole game is a convoluted mess that makes my head hurt. It's a great concept and I love the poem as I have thus far heard it, but I just want the pieces put back together so that I can have a less difficult time in actually figuring out where I'm supposed to go and what I'm supposed to do. :/
Tips of how to finish the game
The two mazes are actually the same maze but with different textures. The boy and the girl have to trade places on where they start and finish at each end of the maze. The best advice I can give is to make a map; draw a square for every room and connect it with a line to the motion the screen shifts when you move from room to room. There are only 20 rooms.
This game runs very slowly on my computer. Possibly I could play it if there were a setting to turn the graphics down.
Having played the entire trilogy (I think)...
In the end did the girl and boy both died and become spectre, or that they can finally let go of the death of their dear ones?
Well, I'm completely lost.
Same as Ezra ... mine had too much of a lag to even play.
No. this update is insane.
My girl died on the 3rd screen.
I didn't even get off the FIRST screen with the boy.
There's being difficult and there's pointlessly stupid.
I know which this is.
