Pedro was out hiking, but now he's trapped in a national park thanks to a crazed killer. Outwitting the madman might not take a whole lot of effort, but Carmel Games still deliver a cutely creepy point-and-click game that hopefully gets a meatier follow-up.

I know it's typical for teenagers in horror movies to hold the idiot ball, but couldn't Pedro easily climb over the fallen tree that's "blocking" the exit?

What? Logic? In a horror movie game? I've never heard of such a thing!!

Ohhh. It took me until the very end of the game to realise that

Mason was the name of the serial killer, because of Jason from the 'Friday the 13th' franchise.

Maybe it would have taken me less time if they had called it Swarovski Lake or something

I second that horror movie "logic", Rygar!

If it was so easy to thwart Mason by putting a rug over a hole, there would have been ample opportunity to do that without wasting time finding a "special" screwdriver for this one board.

Like using a knife on the screws, or even using a spatula/similar to dig a hole out near the log.

There was clearly space to move around the log. Even if there wasn't, it would have been quicker to find a way around/through it than to go around looking at rocks.

I liked it, it's cute and I think good for kids to get into escape-type games, maybe?
