Like most people, I love Metroidvania games. They are challenging, satisfying, and in the case of Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, soothing in an unorthodox way. You can run, dodge, jump (and eventually double jump), and use your abilities to defeat many enemies that have their own unique abilities.

"Hidden Object Detective Holmes" is a hidden object game, so why would you need a walkthrough? Because sometimes, you just end up staring at the screen for ages trying to find something.

Hi everybody, the Halloween Special is out!

Last week I thought that there won't be any Halloween Special since I had two games only...luckily, the situation has changed in last few days so here it is - the sixth edition of Halloween Special exclusively with Halloween themed games, mostly from top developers. It starts with Detarame Factory's short escape and then comes very good escape by a newbie color. After several games with a language barrier, Akatsuki no Yado created one without any, and then comes Esklavos' start of a new serie (hopefully). We have only one retro game - you know why - by Neat Escape, and the special closes horror game by DamZakk.

Have a good time and enjoy!

Welcome to Mobile Monday!

Big devs didn't miss an opportunity to make a Halloween themed game and so we have several games in purple and orange design overfloating with ghosts, skulls and pumpkins. Nice. The first comes GBFinger Studio's (Chendgu GBFun Technology Inc.) escape, then magical Room's Room's (Daichi Simada) one, a bit retro Shigeyuki Kagamura's game and cute Kakeru Wakayama's ghosts' gathering. The bonus game is Nekonote's hunt for dwarfs.

All games are free and available in Google Play and in Apple Store except the bonus game.

All games are medium-sized.

While smartphones can do so many things, there is still the need for the traditional game. Puzzle games for smartphones are one of the most popular types of apps in this category.
Puzzles require skills such as problem-solving, logic, and critical thinking to complete so that they can provide an excellent mental workout for our brains. Puzzle apps can be both relaxing and stimulating, depending on what you're looking for at the moment. There are many best puzzle game apps available for Android and IOS.

Almost every student has been berated by their parents for playing games when they were supposed to be studying. Most parents still believe that games are a distraction and sure recipe for disaster. And we all believed this theory too - until recently.

Notice, that this week will not be posted Weekday Puzzle. Instead, we have two perfect escapes - this one, and on Friday I'll post another one.

Clay games tend to be sweet and cute - they usually remind of of a childhood and kindergardens. You may even recall a clay smell and smeared fingers...well, not this time. The Colorbomb's game isn't childish. Something sinister is hidden underneath...

Crafting and scavenging have become a popular feature in video games for quite some time now, and most survival and role-playing games today include some form of crafting in their gameplay. Even though games such as Resident Evil and Survival Kids helped introduce these concepts in the late 1990s, it wasn't until the early 2010s that crafting and scavenging became major features in gameplays, especially with the release of Minecraft and Arma 2's mod DayZ.

"Midautumn" is a rogue-lite game that is currently in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign. The game developers describe it as an adventure about blasting spirits, learning about the Asian diaspora, and saving your hometown from gentrification. If you're interested in previewing it, the developers recently released a pre-alpha demo on Steam.

Do you think the ocean is a beautiful, astonishing place? Well, be prepared to get a cold, harsh-flavored truth pie thrown into your face.

Swallow the Sea is a weirdly charming and wickedly twisted short game developed by Maceo bob Mair and Nicolas Delgado. In this game, you're following the journey of a humble egg cell called Burros as it travels across a bloated sea of bizarre and anthropomorphic fish--we can all relate to this, right? Of course!
